Re: One Love - Manchester (76,042) (76,044) by Malcolm from Asia
I have newfound respect for Ariana after I watch the concert livestream. Props to her and to her management team.

Re: One Love - Manchester (76,042) (76,043) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
I am very impressed with how quickly they pulled this off. I was honestly never an Ariana fan, I used to think she's annoying and a lot of other things. Did I listen to her songs? Yes, some of them are good, but I was no fan. But that aside, the way Ariana handled this whole situation, I was blown away. She's so young, yet she pulled off such a beautiful, mature move, especially after a traumatizing event which happened so recently. Yes, her team made it happen, but I'm sure Ariana wanted to do it herself. I'm surprised she pulled together such a nice group of artists to accompany her and raise funds for such a good cause. So Ariana and Team Ariana, hats off to you guys, you all did an incredible thing and although it won't bring back the innocent lives lost, I hope it at least brought some peace, happiness and warmth to the people of Manchester, especially the families affected.

One Love - Manchester (76,042) by Lee from UK
Wow. I am honestly so moved by the One Love Manchester concert organised by Ariana and her team. However, watching it made me realise, just how irrelevant Mariah is at the moment. I could not see Mariah at that event at all. Each artist took to that stage with absolute humility. No one there was more humble than Ariana herself, dressed very casually and giving her all. Singing 100% live, raw and showing lots of warmth and humanity. Mariah could never pull this off in a million years. Nobody's vocals were perfect but that's not what this event was about. The last thing this event needed was a lack luster rendition of Hero, a song which, in my opinion, Mariah clearly hates to sing. I was blown away by Ariana, her performance of One Last Time with the audience participation really got me and then by the time she sang Somewhere Over the Rainbow, I was practically a puddle of tears. The context of this concert is obviously a contributing factor to all of the emotions I am feeling but I think it was mostly Ariana's reaction to it all. I honestly do not know how Mariah would have handled this if she was in Ariana's situation but for some reason, I get the feeling she would have come off as insincere and I honestly don't think Mariah does humility or humble very well at all. Whenever she tries it feels forced and rehearsed.

Re: MTV Unplugged article (76,038) (76,041) by Malcolm from Asia
Lipping is fine, especially doing this concert tours and with her uptempo songs, but at least put some effort to re-record the vocals to match with her current voice and not just insert her studio vocals like we are not stupid to hear the distinctive difference of WBT verses to its climax, or My All verses to its chorus (don't get me started with the Dreamlover performances in Vegas ). Honestly it'll be more appreciated.

49 cents (76,039) by Malcolm from Asia
I know this was the case with Loverboy but is it true that they had been doing it since 90's? Like with Honey?

Re: MTV Unplugged article (76,031) (76,038) by B from USA
Showed that Carey's voice was unfuckwithable. Loved this article. All of Mariah's future performances need to be unplugged or acoustic. When she doesn't rearrange her songs, like she did for TGIFY in Vegas, she has to rely on backing tracks to produce the wall of Mariah's that sing the background vocals. I think she should do half and half. Ballads should be unplugged/acoustic and uptempos like Dreamlover and Fantasy should be partly lipped. Lipping parts of her uptempos allows her to preserve her voice for the rest of the performance.

I was hoping Mariah's World would have been more like the Around The World special. Such a wasted opportunity.

Andrew is fine, thankfully, waiting on Stephen and Bill to check in. Not sure where in the U.K. Bill is from though. But London lambs please let us know if you all are fine.

Where's the single and the performance? (76,032) by Capri_ from China
It's already June and only a month left before her residency and her tour with Lionel Richie, but my question is where is her song with Busta Rhymes and the performance on Best Shazam Game Show? I've keep waiting for weeks but only to receive the drama like she reunite with Bryan, she dined out with Bryan bla bla. But what about her upcoming album? And her song with Busta Rhymes is cancelled or not? And did she gave a bad performance on the show then her part was cut?I think we can do nothing if she didn't want her career back like Christina Aguilera and that's the reason why Mariah is losing her fanbase. What's more, she should prepare for her concerts now, like going on vocal train, losing weight. And after the tour ended, she needs to released the album this year not in 2018. That's all, just my opinion, and I really hope NYE won't be an end of Mariah's career.

Re: MTV Unplugged article (76,001) (76,031) by Malcolm from Asia
That's the right formula of all, as simple as that. Another live album will do her career good, even reviving it. The defense from this is maybe "she's already a legend to prove herself", but from what is happening, I can say that proving everyone that she's not what the people think she is is important right now because the people who defend her every actions are already few, also add the turn of the century where majority of people know Mariah as this narcissist diva who only care for the glitz and glamour and not really giving the public that vocal moments that once she always delivers. We all know that the 2 main misconception about her is that she is an arrogant diva and a singer who doesn't really sing, if she can erase and change that, she's all good. Well I just hope those are really just a misconception.

Yes, I do hope Andrew and London lambs are ok, although the loss of any life due to terroism isn't. Sending love to you all.

I think Kylie Minogue did something like that a few years ago, and changed quite a few of her older songs. I really liked it, so it would be fantastic if Mariah could do that as well.

You already are a "glamb" by default it you don't blindly say "Yas slay me queen" to everything Mariah does. You are an even bigger "glamb" if you dare to point out and call out some of the bull shit moves the team pulls. You are a non-fickle true lamb if even when Mariah can't seem to respect herself, you better put some

Charm-girl the biggest glamb ever. I like it. We must get this copy written. Call Stella Whoseitwhatsit. She seems like the right lady for the job. Lol Stacey you know it's asking too much. We are supposed to just love every little thing no matter what. Join me on the goat farm. Lol.
