The two sides of Mariah (76,151) by T from USA Throughout the years I've always noticed it was almost like there were two Mariah's operating at the same time. One was this repsectful artist who calls (and still calls) people like Lionel Richie "Mr. Richie". Who wouldn't oversing her idols and who was focused and career driven shy artist. The other is a diva who cannot be told what to do. One side of Mariah allowed herself to be controlled and contained in order to achieve almost insurmountable achievements the other side of her personality is single handedly destroying it. For me, the two polarizing adjectives when it comes to MC isn't "black" and "white", but rather artist vs. diva. (Friday 9 June 2017; 14:05)

I remember the Loverboy scenes, she was full of energy and running in heels was easy for her. Sometimes I think the accident caused something more than only the shoulder and rips. I can only imagine how painful it must be. So I guess that could be a reason for some things. She must have took a lot of pain-killers and that may have affected some "choices". Headed for an MJ, Whitney, Prince, George Michael (76,144) by BLEUX ROGUE from U. S. A. She needs to grow up. Accept her age, her dwindling career, her legacy, her kids. Stop "the splashes", dump the leeches, start thinking of her kids, take a five year break. No social media, no publicity, work in her self and heal mentally and physically. Plan and strategize an age appropriate third comeback. A jazz album. A modern gospel album. Forget hits and getting on charts. You've made and broken records. Sit on your laurels. Melt Away on Waiting to Exhale? (76,139) by Randy from USA I know that MC was partially signed to compete with pop superstars Whitney Houston, Janet Jackson and Madonna. Thinking back to the 90s when their albums usually came out closeby to each other. Do you think Babyface wanted Melt Away on the Waiing to Exhale soundtrack? The song was recorded very close to when Waiting to Exhale was recorded. I know Tommy and Clive wouldn't have been down with it but do you think this could've been Babyface's wishful thinking. Those looks were sexy yet still modest. These type of dresses and ensembles were flattering on Taylor and Monroe even when their weight fluctuated. She needs to hire a damn stylist. If you remember, for the Beautiful remix video (that we never saw the light of day of), she was in heels, got on top of a platform (probably after several splashes), lost her footing and thank God Nick caught her fall or it would have been worse per Mariah. She still ended up having nerve damage, dislocated shoulder, and cracked ribs. Before the accident, Mariah would run in heels. Perfect example here on the Behind the Scenes video of Loverboy. Fast forward to the 4:50 mark. Mariah says "So I'm going to run to my next set up." Someone tells her "easy, watch it" and Mariah responds while running in high heels, "Oh I know how to run in a heel honey, don't worry." It is just sad that we only get tabloid stories fueled by her own actions, but minimal music news. What I don't get, she was most of the time dressed beautifully. From 90 to 2008 I'm happy with almost every outfit. The glitter outfits compared to this style are gorgous. Lol. But since Miss Blush is on her side all the time, her clothes choices got worse. It just doesn't look like Mariah. Everybody knows MC admires Marylin Monroe. It would be nice if she's just standing with her mic plus cinematography like that and give to good actors the narration of the story, just like she did in Through The Rain but a level up and up to date in the technical part. The lack of style (76,128) by Tijl from Belgium Mimi's current fashion choices just scream middle-aged woman in denial. Her looks are ugly, tacky and unworthy for somebody with her status, as a legendary popstar and a mother. To define them as "trailer trash chic" would be an understatement. Even her stage outfits always turn out be from the latest porn collections. What is the problem with finding a proper stylist who has the right connections? The answer: Mariah has burned so many bridges over the years. With people in the music business and in the fashion world, I really doubt if there is one major fashion designer nowadays who would agree to endorse Mariah. Her creative approach to the clothes she borrowes from designer labels is not just an urban legend. Mariah is well known for demanding the stylists on the set of photoshoots to simply "shorten" (read: cutting off 10 inches or more with a pair of scissors) outrageously expensive haute couture that needs to be returned at the end of the day. If there ever will be a comeback it has to be a reinvention of her as a songstress and with a new image. She is beautiful and she can truly radiate stardom but she has to face the facts. Céline Dion at the Billboard Awards was a great styling job. Her gown was absolutely fabulous, very high fashion with her makeup and hair on point. I would love to see Mariah with a feisty stylish bob. At a certain age very long tresses are just a no-go for every woman. Stage outfits from Ralph&Russo, Balmain or Tom Ford that screams sophistication and class yet is sexy. With simple outfits during the day. The styling during the AI era was bang on and she looked freakin' gorgeous all through the episodes. What do you guys think? Is she in denial or is just nobody telling her the truth? We don't have a choice but accept that she's here to stay (unless there's some lambs in California that can spy on her and do something to push Mariah to fire her, what? I'm crazy lmao) especially with this lifestyle that her family is experiencing plus the business ventures? There's no way she will bail on this. The only thing that I can hope for is for her to seek help in learning more about managing an artist like Mariah and invest about it and to convince me or all of us that she's not here to rob Mariah's hard-earned fortune and that she really cares about her.
