Bryan and MC (71,286) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
To me this whole Bryan/MC relationship or whatever it is I could care less honestly. MC doing any side projects really does not matter to me because I do not live in her shoes nor do I have to support nothing I do not like. Honestly whatever floats MC's boat at this point I say more power to her. I say let her live her life as she sees fit and if you choose not to support her anymore that is fine. There are and will always be those moments that you treasure about MC. For me as long as she can live with her choices who am I to constantly judge her when I make mistakes too or fall short of expectations. At this point I choose to treasure the great music she has given us throughout her career, everything else for me it is what it is.

Real or fake? (71,285) by Mirage from Unicornatopia
I'm pretty sure Mariah's show is fake. There does not appear to be too much real about Mariah these days. Go back and watch any interview from the late 90s, and ask yourself if the mature 27-30 year old Mariah is the same person we see today? Yes, people grow, but the essance of who she felt she was seems like it is barely there any more. In the pictures of Mariah in London, her eyes look glazed. She does not answer questions in interviews anymore. She shades artists she does not need to. She can't have an adult conversation with any interviewer or the people around her. Mariah's World is a farce. We don't see the real Mariah at all, so it's pointless watching. A star of Mariah's calibre doing reality TV is so disgusting, and the Mariah of the late 90s would know that. The Mariah we see these days does not look like someone making her own decisions any more.

New pics (71,284) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
Mariah in London, where she apparently performed at a wedding/private event where Elton John and Antonio Banderas were also present. She looks great in this black dress. Here's another photo of the dress. Her boy toy was also there loving every bit of the attention.

Please could everyone state which genitalia they have so that they can be classified differently and receive tempered responses? For the first time since I have been here, you sound like a [censored]. What a load of macho nonsense. "Bloody hell" (so said the Englishman, in England - I wonder what I would quote to take the [censored] out of an Asian and how well that would go down). Mind yourself and the high horse you rode in on. [Webmaster: Could you two children take this fight somewhere else?]

Reopen the Music Box (71,282) by Jamie from UK
I think Mariah's next direction should be a love songs album like Music Box. Take her back to her Adult Contempory days and really show off that voice again.

Re: Nonsense (71,280) (71,281) by Licia from USA
I agree the whole JP thing, relationship, almost marriage or whatever was used to hurt Nick, but I don't think it really hurt him in the way she wanted. Clearly he doesn't care about her being in a relationship because he's moved on, but I do think it bothers him that there are different men in his children's lives. Say what you want about his alleged cheating and his many girlfriends, but he's never been pictured with the kids and any other woman besides his mother or grandmother. If there is a female around his kids, he's making sure to keep it out if the press.

Re: Nonsense (71,279) (71,280) by RibbonB from USA
All of it seems designed to hurt Nick. JP was either in on it from the beginning for the press, or he got the picture finally and gave up. Rather sad and desperate attempts to hurt, especially the lengths she has gone to. IDK, but the "Camouflage" reference in the last MW episode was very telling IMO. This has been the longest drawn out cry for help and attention. IDK what she feels, but I wish she would protect the kids in all of this. I hope she gets the help, she seems to have gotten the attention, but by the ratings not even as much of that as she would have liked. And by help, I mean the counseling or emotional help that she might need, not enablers. I am still hoping there is some redemption by the end of this "docuality" show.

Re: Nonsense (71,274) (71,279) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
I also don't understand what exactly they think is coming out of this "affair" story line. Mind you at the beginning they started with how Tanaka is the one crushing then slowly it has turned to "both parties are interested" scenario with even Mariah hinting at it on the show. I don't get how she thinks a possible cheating story line can help her image. If she is trying to play the "James was never there" card, it won't work, because you could have called off the engagement but you didn't instead James called it off. So there is no way she is coming out of this looking good. I don't get how she even approved of this. Nothing really adds up anymore. It's like they do stuff on a whim and then just get on with the flow whether it makes sense or not. MW, to me, is a huge disappointment. It had the potential to really turn things around for Mariah, instead we get this messy, scripted, drama with scenes that look like they have been copy pasted as a montage.

Patti and Luther (71,278) by RibbonB from USA
Here is a cool throwback video, just because it is so good. Luther and Patti singing the classic Brenda Russell song that Luther covered, 'If Only For One Night'. The showmanship is off the hook here. I would be floored if Mariah and Lionel perform Endless Love like two legendary singers/prize fighters. Lol just kidding, but it will be nice to see them finesse their way through the song when they go on tour.

Re: Mariah in London (71,270) (71,277) by Edward from USA
Mariah had a great opportunity to actually document what goes on in one of her tours, from the stage is being put together to at least a few minutes of the final product, let us see you perform a rare entire song. If it were really a docu-series, why so much posing? How do you take care of your voice before and after a show? Can't you let us see you warming up your vocals at least, it might be trivial to you, but way real and relatable to us. Let us see your transformation from Mumra-riah to Mariah when they start caking you face up and putting your wigs/weaves on. You want us to see the real you, then show us. Instead, the only voice we hear is the Dragon-Stella's. She is really the start of that show.

Re: Cat-fight and Mel B (71,265) (71,276) by Edward from USA
Lee, I didn't mean to disrespect anybody from the UK or anything like that. It's well known that things are less censored in UK, and they can say things things on TV people would dream of in other places. Like when Janet had he nipple moment with Justin Sold-her-Lake, I saw people on TV showing full breasts on comedy shows from the UK, while everybody was ready to burn poor Janet alive for showing a freaking nipple around the world. To me, it wasn't a big deal. I love myself "Little Britain", if you know what I mean. I do believe in having an argument or a debate without taking in consideration genders, but when you're going personal, I do believe, as a man, ladies should be treated as such, especially when they haven't used profanity. Maybe that's odd for some, but that's the way I was raised. Mel B is from the UK, and I thought she expressed her opinion without thinking she had to say the things people wanted to hear, but what she really wanted to say. Maybe I have a wrong perception of the UK when it comes to saying things without caking it up much, but the few friends I have from the UK are always direct and I appreciate that. Peace.

Re: Bryan and Mariah (71,271) (71,275) by Marissa from USA
Believe it, girl. The whole 40+ year old female singer "dating" their backup dancer who no one even knows for sure what their sexual orientation is has been done to death. Despite how hard Mariah and Stella try, it's just not interesting. It looks desperate, fake and destined to fail. The truth is that Mariah was winning with the publicity that she got from dating a billionaire and getting that massive engagement ring before the breakup and inconvenience fee debacle. This Tanaka thing is a major publicity downgrade. The "cougar" narrative is boring unless it's with another younger celebrity, not some random unknown. Initially I thought that it was real considering the fact that it was blatantly obvious that she was practically cheating on James with him way before Mariah's World even started airing, but now I just feel like she's going through the motions with him because she just can't be alone. I'm at the "who knows and who cares?" point with it now. I don't really care about her personal life anymore as long as she's not strung out on drugs or depressed. I only care about her career and want to see it protected from disgrace and destruction. The only man that I'm truly passionate about seeing get removed from Mariah's life is Stella.

Nonsense (71,274) by Sasha from Nomansland
She's lucky that Packer doesn't give a damn that she's openly showing to the world she was flirting/cheeting on him while she was supposed to be engaged to him. Am I the only to think it's rude and humiliating? What's the point of doing that? Does she think it's going to make her loveable? There is not much that make sense in Mariah's world lately.

Re: Benson and Mariah (71,271) (71,273) by RibbonB from USA
I think Anthony was telling the truth, that the show is fake. But who knows if the two diddle now just for laughs. Lol. Read the old Inquisitr article about Stella and how the old team revolted because the show was full of lies and staged scenarios. At some point the season will end and they have to have some kind of finale though.

Girl, it's a "docuality" show, fake stuff documented as reality, lightly sprinkled with show footage. Did you read that Elle recap I posted yesterday. Mimi L. that guy has you beat for his snarky observations. But I can't wait to read your recap, the follow up with his after tomorrow's episode.

Bryan and Mariah (71,271) by Gigi from USA
I know a lot of us think the relationship is fake, but does anyone think the relationship is real? I want to believe it's a real relationship, because I can't bring myself to believe that Mariah would stoop so low just for ratings. However, I don't see any evidence outside of Mariah's World or public events to support that it's real. Mariah is a very touchy-feely person and I haven't seen them hold hands, kiss or embrace each other since those Hawaii pictures. Bryan always seems to be walking in front of her or somewhere off in the distance just so we know he's present. There was no denying she was into Luis or Nick. Heck, she even held hands with James on occasion lol. It's all so strange to me.

Ribbon B, I can't with your hawk eye. You miss absolutely no detail. The possibility of a re-shot finale is just frustrating. It's evident from the show that a lot of the scenes are re-shot. And yet it's a docu-series, not a reality show.

Stella is not going to let M. out of her clutches any sooner than she has to and all the rest are their to ensure the stay is as long as possible, they are like Crustella's tentacles.

I do not think people should be moderating what they want to write based on someone else's gender. That's absurd. This isn't the Victorian era. Also when you say this isn't the UK, are you referring to the bloody Internet? The Internet isn't the USA either, just so you know.

Re: The comeback(s) and the preoccupation with Mimi (71,256) (71,263) by B from USA
Mariah was sounding amazing during the Charmbracelet tour. Her demure vocals on the album were the result of label meddling which resulted in critics claiming her voice was shot as a result. She's proved she's still The Voice. Sure it's not the same as it was during her prime but when she lays off the splashes, works with a vocal coach, and doesn't speak for a day or two before performances she's still able to slay.

Oh Stella is there. If you look at the pics on Daily Mail, the other hired help Liane is also there along with the entourage and body guards. From the looks of Roc and Roes outfits perhaps they are redoing some of the prior footage as they shoot an alternate ending. The kids previously wore those outfits on the MW filming.
