The Sun is owned by Murdoch's Need International and is Britain's most circulated newspaper with a readership of something like 2 million. It may not be The Times when it comes to the in depth nature of its journalism but it's not disregarded as having false stories. As with all newspapers of this kind there is embellishment, so to speak. However, aside from calling the SSFT "disastrous", everything Dan Wooten has reported is on point and can be backed up with evidentiary support. Your construction of The Sun as OK in your head and dismissal is the actual impact this article will have on Mariah is, again, an example of how you (and others) will quickly spin anything in your head to create a fantasy land of unicorns and rainbows.

This is starting to give more and more credibility to Mariah dodging L.A.'s calls. I'm not saying Stella confiscated her phone, but they probably were ignoring his calls and calls from the label. Honestly since Mariah is saying a lot that she doesn't have an album in mind and Epic will obviously think about business, if this goes on she might get dropped. L.A. not saying anything about MC is quite alarming since they are not only business associates but long time friends. MC should think about what she wants, because as it is, she already had to settle for less than her asking price when she signed this deal, which may mean other labels will offer even less if anything at all.

At this point I don't think it matters if she loses her contract nor do I believe she cares. She said herself she's not putting out an album. She's just doing singles in between her touring. *shrugs *

The thing is Mariah doesn't need a record label. Her wealth and fame is big enough, plus with her 27 years (and counting) in the industry. What she desperately needs is a badass team, not these pathetic excuses Mariah surrounds herself with. Problem is she seems to be delusional as of now. Her bubble is so thick I can almost see it. Somebody pop her bubble please, let her truly emancipate. Ain't nobody gon' tell me that this is the real Mariah.

Michael Cinco talks about dressing Mariah (73,048)
by Geronimo from USA
| |
|

For some strange reason, I really love this article. Maybe it's because custom made, high end designer clothing in Dubai is a semi-normal and routine part of Mariah Carey's crazy world. I am so far from being able to relate to her lifestyle that it is easy to forget that glamour and spectacle is and always has been part of the showbiz world. I guess Mariah is old-school like that. Damn, if I were in her position what would I have somebody design for me?

Hmm, I noticed on L.A Reid's twitter page there is no mention of Mariah and no promotion of I Don't, however he is promoting the hell out of artists like Future, DJ Khaled, and Keyshia Cole. L.A even got pic of him and JLo at Benny Medina's birthday party. To me, this speaks volumes. Got a feeling Mariah is about to loose her record contract. Oh boy.

Compassion for Mariah (73,041)
by RibbonB from USA
| |
|
|
I actually do have a lot of compassion for Mariah. She is a gifted singer and composer. She usually has a fun personality and I love how she interacts with her children. My compassion just doesn't extend to this current team of people around her. I do wish they would get it together and help Mariah rather than hurt her image. Mariah is way off on the tone and the times, or at least it seems so especially in comparison to how she used to profess to be. I do wish Mariah well, but the rest are not doing their jobs well at all, so they can kick rocks. Mariah and Roc and Roe deserves better. It is sad that she feels incapable of functioning in the real world that she has to invite randoms into her bubble. Friendship and love can be challenging for anyone, but this has to be multiplied many times over when money and fame are involved. I do wish that Oprah, Debbie Allen, anyone who might be a friend with influence would reach out to her and reach her.

Re: Question (73,039) (73,040)

Rae Rae, Mariah's assistant was often around, but not a whole team and entourage. This is all specific to Stella with her family around 24/7 and her family handling Mariah's finances and a dancer now promoted to personal whatever just solidifies the 24/7 supervision of MC. Nick and Mariah shared some selective things especially with the babies, but they seemed to have their own private family time. If anyone was their social media manager, it was Nick. Congrats to Nick on his new son Sagon Cannon. Hopefully Roc and Roe get to meet their new sibling very soon.

Question (73,039)
by Mara from United States
| |
|
|
Can anyone clarify if when Mariah was married to Nick, if she had a "team" around her 24/7 like this? And I don't mean hair and makeup or bodyguards, but other people that literally were with her "all the time". If so, then I apologize and maybe it's MC who asks for this codependency. I just remember when she was with Nick, they were out together at events and I don't recall any tag alongs but I could be wrong. Does anyone know?

Plus the fact that Mariah writes lyrics stating "maybe she grew up a little too soon" and how she has "seen things little ones shouldn't know" why are these things repeating themselves in her presence? Kids should be kids and no we are not "hating" by expressing this. Just simply expressing freedom of speech like Stella everyday.

What bothers me the most is the blatant "I'm doing this on purpose" mocking fans, more you complain, more I post the FU post, pics attitude Stella and yes, Mishka have. I am not one to comment on kids but in this case, they literally put it out there. On purpose. The looks they give in those pics are straight up like "we are with Mimi and we know what you say and we are doing it all the more". Like they are taunting us with how they pose. I never saw a more catty, nasty team ever in Mariah's 27 years in the business. All this while MC's imagage is drowning and they could be gone tomorrow and continue on with the likes of Tiny and co, yet the lasting effect of what they are doing to MC will stay and nobody pays but Mariah. I said it before and a few of us have, if she wants to stay in Stella's company since it's different this time with Mariah being a mom and Stella feeding off that as they both have kids and lets face it, M's family and friends seem MIA at the moment - then she should hire new people but stay friends with Stella and crew. I don't know what to make of the Bryan thing anymore or what she gets with him around anymore if it's for a show or she is too embarrassed to end it. Who knows. Like Packer, she is never alone with this man and I don't see how any man cannot tire of that. It seems like Bryan has signed off his personal life since MC too. How is this all healthy? He will tire soon. It seems he is got something in the works now too according to his website. I almost wish that Mariah would do a full sit down with either Oprah or Barbara or someone that can pull out the humble, vulnerable Mariah to do some control on her image right now. I pray she doesn't come out with boobs out and body suits and being late to the Lionel tour. That would be career suicide at this point as his fans are already out for blood and want no part of seeing her. Why she is never in New York anymore concerns me too. Did she rent this new home, to house Stella and everyone since Stella is LA based? Mariah don't give up who you are. Don't forget who you are. I just hope she is happy.

Preach. If people don't see a problem with Mishka's behavior, please look up Drew Barrymore's story. She was doing cocaine and drinking heavily at 12 and exposed to life in the fast lane way too young, the same way Mishka is. Why is it so hard for people to let a child be innocent? Isn't that what childhood is for? They have the rest of their lives to be an adult and wild out. The average life expectancy for women is 81 years old, so if she lived that long she would literally have 63 years to be grown. With that being said, is there any logical reason to rush her adulthood? Please enlighten me. Your frontal lobe (the part of your brain that is responsible for self-control and decision making) isn't fully developed until you are 25 years old, so why keep trying to convince a 13 year old that she's grown when even science proves that she can't handle the shit that she's being exposed to? It's one thing to teach a kid practical skills needed for adulthood like balancing a checkbook or something, but you don't need to teach your kid how to serve alcohol or get drunk. All it's going to do is have her longing for her lost childhood when she grows up and she'll end up with the same Peter Pan complex that Mariah or Michael Jackson has/had. No matter what kids tell you now, in hindsight they almost always realize that discipline (and I'm not necessarily talking about physical discipline) is one of the most significant ways a parent shows that they love their children. All of the "cool parents" I've ever met or heard of in my life are the ones with kids losing their virginity at 12, doing hard drugs, dropping out of school, etc. I almost never hear about "cool parents" (aka parents who don't discipline their children whatsoever but instead want to be their buddies) with kids that fully have their heads on straight. Their kids are usually the ones with the most issues. Let's not forget, Mariah was raised by a "cool parent" that let her do whatever she wanted as well and now she is constantly chasing the childhood she never got to have. There will be enough people in the world who will willingly aid you in your self-destruction, no one needs that same kind of lackadaisical attitude from their parent.

Well in fact legal or not, minors are not legally allowed on premises of a dispensary anywhere in the US. As for the alcohol and being in establishments which serve alcohol that is more than likely actionable as well. I'd encourage all the lambs who really care and were so enthusiastic about signing petitions, posting on Lionel's page, calling radio stations, and just generally venting here and elsewhere to contact CPS. If they get enough e-mails and phone calls, Mariah will feel the heat and Stella will be gone.

I'm caught between deciding if she's really stupid enough to still believe that the majority are stupid enough to buy into this "relationship" or if she's stupid enough to go on with this travesty because her ego won't allow her to end it or if she's engaging because it still feeds her ego on some level, so no matter how ridiculous she looks, she won't end this nonsense or if it's a combo of two or more. Jesus be a reality check.
