Being Mariah Carey (68,446) by RibbonB from USA Let's hope this series is not the "Being Bobby Brown" equivalent and thank God that reality show only lasted one year as Whitney refused to sign on for another year. Here is what one reviewer said of that show. One reviewer, Barry Garron, wrote that "Being Bobby Brown, the reality show spotlighting the R&B singer whose rap sheet might be longer than his catalog, is undoubtedly the most disgusting and execrable series ever to ooze its way onto television." Garron and other reviewers noted that the show contained remarks regarding sexuality and excretory functions, and Garron opined that the show robbed Whitney Houston "of any last shreds of dignity". Hopefully MW won't be this low brow, but it definitely seems intended to publicly shred Mariah's dignity. (Friday 18 November 2016; 13:06)

See when she said "docu-series" I was thinking more along the lines of the E Uncut for TEOM and "Mariah Around the World" type of situation. I honestly couldn't care less about Bryan being paid to have a crush story line, Stella trying (and failing) to be the next Kris Jenner, Mariah gulping pot brownies and the Bryan trying to take Mariah's measurements. But heck who cares about what I want. Lord I still can't believe they are having the "Stella firing someone" and "Maryanne going off on someone" moments in there. So she seems committed to it as long as the money rolls in. Sounds like they have you hooked Mimi L. Girl get your life then. Lol I do believe that there have to be some surprises that are not being shown. They have built up the gossip and intrigue for those interested, but there has to be some mundane day to day parts and hopefully some more or morally redeeming parts for Mariah. She has to be very childish if she is "acting out" based on him becoming a parent again, while she allegedly begged him to sign the papers so she could have a wedding. A new step-parent would have far more impact on their lives than a potential new sibling in their lives, who won't even be living with them. Mariah needs to do some internal work of her own instead of reality show therapy. (Friday 18 November 2016; 12:34)

I'm still hoping that they used the "dramatic parts" to pull in the GP, while in the full episodes it has stuff that cater better to the lambs. For example - some studio sessions, pre-show ritual and all. E. obviously won't release something that won't get them ratings and the main viewers of E. are ones who love themselves some drama. About possible second season, it seems more and more likely. That would explain the bizarre over dramatic antics that are being pulled by Mariah and her team. Maybe they are still filming, who knows? And these are parts of the scripted reality show, yes let's not even call it a docu-series anymore. So many questions about what is going on, whether Mariah and Packer actually broke up, why is Mariah so uber close with Tanaka when they discuss he has a crush on her on the show, is Rocky eventually going to punch Tanaka and yell "Stay away from my mommy." Will Mishka get a spin-off after MW. Is MW going to be Mariah's new thing, as in is she going the reality show round for good? All these questions and I'm sitting here like (Friday 18 November 2016; 11:09)

New baby or not he shouldn't care about how she's feeling. He has the right to move on just like she did. She paraded billionaire boy around for a year and got engaged while allegedly still married. Mariah's newest AIWFCIY performances (68,435) by darrian liu from taiwan To be frank, I am disappointed with her performances in Toronto and the ABC special. The ABC special isn't released yet but from the raw video, it sounds like either she lipped the whole thing or she sang live but was overpowered by the backing track. I wish she would show off her vocal improvements, because both performances in Toronto and the special aren't showing it. On second thought, after watching the mic feed of Toronto, I think Toronto sounds pretty good. (Friday 18 November 2016; 8:52)

Commercial success (68,434) by Malcolm from Asia How amazing is that, Mariah, Whitney, Celine have consecutive #1 hits for 32 weeks. But of course Mariah was the only one who had multiple #1's (Fantasy, One Sweet Day and Always Be My Baby) in that 32 week run. Ugh I wish I'm much older when that happened, I really envy those older lambs who had really witness the phenomenal success of Mariah in the 90's. Mariah's World (68,433) by Mara from United States Well, I gotta admit, despite the downright reality show that it is, I believe this will be a hit and draw in the viewers. We have a name as big as Mariah Carey and the Kardashian formula, what more can the public ask for? I think the fact that Mariah has the final say in the editing, she will not let herself be a complete mess despite how much we cringe at the fact that it's the comeplete Kardashian formula. Also, the telling word in the promotion of this latest trailer is "this season on Mariah's World" sure makes it sound like it's more than 8 episodes and will end on a cliffhanger to make its way to come back. Could be why she still has the ring on and why they initially said James and Mariah may still end up together. I sure do think that Mariah is more of a couple with Tananka than she ever was with James Packer. Wow, what is real and what is scripted? Never thought I would say that about Mariah, but here we are. Disney (68,431) by Mara from United States Oh Mariah. All I can say is when she gets it right, she gets it right. I don't know what she did different with her makeup, but it was very Butterfly with the smokey eye and her eyebrows. I loved how she looked. Always loved her retro look in The Roof video and cannot express enough how I love her eye makeup in it. Her look was close to how much I love that look. Old Hollywood and classy timeless Hollywood legend glam was all out for that special. So glad she pulled that off especially since she will be aired on Thanksgiving and Christmas. That dress was pure class and oozed what she is, which is a young living legend. Yes, Mariah, you can accept that since you came into the business so young, that you became a legend younger than most. There is nothing to not be proud of with that fact. I love this look on he and hope it's back for the Beacon shows. I don't know what it is about the Christmas season, but Mariah always usually keeps it classic for this time of year. Perhaps it's due to AIWFCIY being a timeless modern day standard. Big improvement from the pink prom gown we got from Toronto. I love when she dresses in a way where the haters in Hollywood aka JLo and then some can't say a damn word about her. Nick (68,428) by Mara from United States So Nick apparently is going to have a new baby with an ex girlfriend. She is 6 months along. I can't help but think how this is making Mariah feel. It's one thing to see someone move on and I'm not even going to say Nick had to see Mariah move on because I always felt Packer was Mariah showing Nick she can reach him with a billionaire. It's another thing to know your two babies are going to have a new sibling with a different mommie. knowing how emotional MC is, maybe this is another reason she is parading Tanaka around in addition to the show. I could swear that she said "I am just going to have some fun and make some money" shortly after she started "dating" the "billionaire". I wish I could remember what interview that was from, but I recall that from around that time period. Article: Vanessa Williams joins VH1 Divas Holiday: Unsilent Night (68,421) by RibbonB from USA So "the powers that be" are finally letting the real divas back on Diva's Live? The past few years have been full of also rans, IMO. I remember one Diva's Soul show, where they had Florence of and the Machine and Kellie Clarkson, Big sideye. They they talked about British soul divas and fairly forgot to mention the queen, Sade. So it is very nice to see this roster of Patti, Chaka, Mariah, and Vanessa Williams. This should be cute.
