So cool and nostalgic to see Mariah vibing to "Sweetheart" and "Loverboy" (albeit somehow less enthusiastically). And B. Scott just couldn't get off M's hair. But really, the "Sweetheart" sing-along, just sweet.

She's the perfect Vegas showgirl. I'm glad she ditched the unflattering ensembles from the first run. I think she'll eventually don showgirl costumes like she did in the videos for Breakdown and I Stay In Love. I hope she hires an A-list stylist. She's a megastar and she needs to look the part at all times. Her voice is in fine form. I've listened to all of the recent concerts and aside from some minor vocal mishaps, which every singer is entitled to, she slayed. Mariah and her residency is a success.

Re: 1OAK (59,922) (59,927) by Luke from United Kingdom
I agree with the make-up side, I do think she looks prettier with less. I think she's trying to channel the Marilyn/Hollywood glam style while she's been in Vegas.

Article: Mariah Carey talks about Las Vegas residency (59,925) by B from USA
Simply stunning. She's flawless. Bow down, bitches. Beyoncé isn't Mariah's successor. I Am Sasha Fierce was Beyoncé's last good album. 4 and Beyoncé are horrible. She's overrated. Mariah looks like she's ready to reclaim her throne. Slay, Mariah, slay.

Re: 1OAK (59,920) (59,922) / lashes (59,924) by Billy from Greece
I second what you've said about the lashes, especially considering Mariah's eyes are so gorgeous.

Re: Kesha and Mariah (59,919) (59,923) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
The question of talent is irrelevant here. What is important to take note of is that a woman is being rejected the right to freedom and is forced to be under the control of her alleged abuser and the only way she can pursue her dreams (of writing music and performing) is by staying under this person's control or the only other path is to abandon her passion. No woman, or man, deserves this, regardless of their profession, position and situation.

Re: 1OAK (59,920) (59,922) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
Nah the makeup wasn't working for me. It looked patchy and the the bronzer/contour shade combo kinda came out muddy. Also I wish Kris would stop using these lashes (the one that flares out at the end and is smaller around the inner corner), it is not for Mariah's eye shape and I feel it closes her eyes up. Those lashes are more suited for Angelina Jolie. For Mariah, he needs to get those wispy lashes that flares out more around the center and opens her eyes. However, I will have to say she looked better in the videos. I like Mariah with softer makeup like she had on the #Beautiful music video, it makes her look more youthful, especially with more toned down bronzer and a peachy pink blush. The dress, however I completely agree with you. It looked cheap and it just didn't look right. Also bring back strappy heels.

10AK (59,921) by Giovanni from USA
I know I already posted about how amazing Mariah looks in the 10AK pic, but it bears repeating. This is the best she's looked since wearing the gold dress. She seems more confident and happy. I'd say she's definitely on the way for a comeback.

Re: 1OAK (59,908) (59,920) by Lee TS from USA
You gotta be kidding me. Her hair and makeup was flawless depending on the angle and lighting haha. Just don't catch her from the side. I really liked how Danielle tucked her hair behind one ear, it gave her a really soft and girly feel. Mariah looked young and fresh. The dress was so so, the material looked cheap almost like you can find it in Forever 21. It should've been rhinestones or crystals hanging off that dress. What did bug me about her ensemble were the panty hoes/stockings or whatever they're called, she should've showed off her legs. And damn Mariah, back at it again with the Loubies.

Re: Kesha and Mariah (59,909) (59,919) by darrian liu from taiwan
I think Kesha has talent. The website Free Kesha has some of her unreleased materials and they were good, very different from the generic rehashed pop song she usually releases. I think Dr. Luke truly tries to stunt her creative freedom and growth because he kept on making her release the same recycled songs. But I think she's pretty good songwriter, although far from Mimi's level.

Re: Insta (59,899) (59,917) by Pau from Mexico
I have something to share with you guys. I decided to leave a comment at Stella's instagram in the picture that she uploaded with Mariah. I believe it is the only way one can make sure somebody reads our good wishes. So, I wrote something about how amazing they look in the picture (MC of course looks more stunning), wishing them good luck for next month and asked Stella if there's any chance we can have a "Sweet Sweet Fantasy Latin American Tour". She erased it. It's the second time she erases one of my messages, the first time is when MC performed at Israel last year and I wrote something like "please please come to Mexico". Funny thing, the messages where I don't mention anything about coming to Latin America are still in her account. I don't understand why she erases them, but I hope it doesn't mean she just doesn't care about this specific region or doesn't want to get this type of suggestions.

Stella / Melisandre (59,915) by Luke from United Kingdom
When I see Stella she reminds me more and more of Melisandre from Game Of Thrones. I can see Mariah having vocal issues and Stella pearing into her mouth chanting "Your throat is dark and full of terrors."

Aww she looks fab. She looked like the time she performed Love Hangover/Heartbreaker for the tribute to Diana in 1998-ish. Mimi just out of curiosity if you could style her how would you do it?

How can you not love that tan. I love it. The dress was okay. I think she looks amazing.

I love You're Mine. I still listen to it on a regular basis. I wish she would have performed it more often. She never sang it on the Elusive Chanteuse show, right? I wonder why. Maybe because it's about Nick? I don't know.

Vision of love (59,910) by Giovanni from USA
I don't care what anyone says. That was the best performance of the song since Blueprint. She's a lot more confident now going for the big belts and long runs. I'm happy.

Please don't ever put Kesha in the same sentence with Mariah. She has no talent.

1OAK (59,908) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
Not loving the dress she wore to the 1OAK party. The makeup was also not on point and that splotchy tan is back. This look is a total no no. I don't get it, Mariah has slimmed down so much that she can carry off a lot of different types of clothes, why does she mess up with these choices when she has access to the greatest designers in the world?

1OAK ensemble last night (59,907) by Nick from USA
I feel like I am always posting about her looks here alot more lately but she looked spectacular last night. I love that she is starting to wear more short dresses instead of the long ball gowns. Also, her voice has been in the best state that it has been in this whole decade IMO. I am a very pleased lamb at the moment.

Mariah live - February 20th wow (59,905) by Dav from Ireland
I'm just back from the concert. Her vocals were amazing. Much better than I expected, she could release another 90's vocal style album if she chose too, all her talent is still there. And I was lucky enough to touch her when she reached out from the state. I think my husband tipped off her management team that I'd come a long way and was a huge fan. Long flight back ahead, but very happy.

Re: Vision of Love live (Las Vegas) February 19, 2016 (59,895) (59,904) by Malcolm from Asia
Oh my goodness gracious that was the best. I don't understand why some people are criticizing her voice over and over again like are they still a fan or what? Yes, I came to a point that every time I listen to Mariah, it irks me, it disappoints me, it saddens me because of the state of her voice. But whenever she had a good performance, I give her the props, I appreciate it and I'm trying my best not to be critical about it. Come on, Mariah slayed on this performance, I'm not saying it's a 1990-debut type of greatness or whatsoever but in my heart with my personal compromises, she did great, I felt that goosebumps and satisfaction that I need to feel. It only annoys me why this is not the performance that she showed in the BMAs performance damn it. It could be great, she would have a positive feed backs from the public and earned a standing ovation, even the ever respectful first rows will be amazed. I know Mariah is really getting there and if somebody will still deny and criticize her capacity as an artist, seriously I am close enough with this.

Kesha and Mariah (59,903) by David F from Mexico
I feel bad for Kesha, she is going for what Mariah went too. The music industry is a cold place if you lose your connections with the people who helped you build a hit or two. Mariah fought very hard and was released. She was aware that the revenge would come at a price when she left them. I hope she never loses her faith and her love for making music. Mariah is now an example of overcoming obstacles for the artists and people.
