AIWFCIY acoustic version with new 95-96ish vocals (58,169)
by JAXGH from United States

|
|
Somebody mentioned about wanting to hear AIWFCIY in acoustic, say no more lmao. Here you go. I wish she would release this. I know some lambs probably already have it but I wanted to bring it back since it's Christmas. This leaked when Sonygot hacked. A treat for everybody. It's way better than the original and it's so much more intimate since it's just guitar and vocals. I'm assuming this was recorded around 96. She sounded just like Tokyo Dome so I'm gonna pretend this was done 96 lmfao. Or it could be 95. But seriously it's so beautiful. I live for the scatting and the adlibs at the end. I've never heard Mariah in full acoustic other than in Right To Dream. Enjoy.

Good move (58,168)

We have to respect what Mariah decides in terms about performing or not at the Rockefeller Center this year. She owns her career. What they did to her last year was so mean, so exposed, she had to hold on as usual. She plays her game the way she wants but people are responding to the song in a big way this year. If she wants the song to go higher she clearly needs to give it one or two renditions. It is legit for people to always expect that from her every December. She is the queen of Christmas after all.

I'm telling you, Mariah is gearing up for something big. I love my Mariah no matter what size she is, but when she trims down it's usually for something big (whether it be an album or a TV stint). She is looking fantastic and like I've always said, Mariah just naturally exudes sensuality so she can be sexy even when she's covered up. That outfit is fire.

I laughed at the the way the article tried to create this whole grudge thing because look, there's a difference between being vengeful and setting boundaries of what is and isn't okay with you. I think after AI Mariah is just done with recordings emerging for the sole purpose of fueling a smear campaigns. Especially when it is coming from the network you are partnered with.

It's probably this awkward because it's supposed to be funny, it seems forced. Her best acting has always been in more dramatic roles (Precious, The Butler).

When I saw this pic, my smile can't even go away because Idol-riah is officially back. Her outfits recently are always on point and phenomenal like she used to in 2012-2013. Gosh I'm so excited to see her wear that plunging bodysuit next year at Vegas to slay all the haters.

Oh my I need to know Mariah's beauty regimen on how she gets that flawless face. She looks absolutely stunning. Love the crimson dress on her. It was cute and flirty while still staying classy. I like that she is taking a break from the gowns, they were getting boring. She looks much better and younger in knee length dress. Also let's get some trench coat moments. Mariah looks amazing in trench coats. I love the lipstick/gloss she is wearing. Ugh I wish her MAC lipstick was more like this (the peachy nude she always wears) or something like the pinkish nudes she sometimes wears. I do not enjoy frost finishes although I'll get it for Mimi. Mariah, for the full collection, can we get better options and cute packaging?

Billy, these people don't believe a single lie they print. That's not the objective. The real objective is proliferation of negative gossip about Mariah. And it works like a charm. In a few days this narrative will have spread to international tabloids, blogs, vlogs and from person to person through word of mouth. *Shout out to Wendy Williams and Norman The Goat.* Even countries that don't have free speech or democracy will print this in their papers. The clear and present absurdity will simply be lost in translation and if Team Mariah gives a press release debunking every single false claim it will never reach all those who read/heard the first ridiculous mess. So Mariah's domestic and international appeal gets eroded little by little because that is the story these people want the world to believe about her. That in turn affects her marketability amongst casual fans. They'll go to great lengths pretending to be fans in order to fool people yet turn around and lowkey insult Mariah Carey and thus the Lambily for our dedication and loyalty when we come to her defence. It's the oldest trick in the book i.e. basic propaganda: Devide and conquer. I'm pretty sure you've seen how they operate up close. I know I have.

This is what I've been praying for. I hope there's not too much Calvin in the song if the collab is real, I need a 50/50 collab so their sounds can combine together. Guys this could be Mariah's start of a comeback. If she does it right and give good performances she'll be back at #1 in no time. Yes to the the second coming of Mimi, please.

Need some strange (58,155)
by nikki from usa

I'm going to throw in something abstract. According to astrology, Mariah Carey will never quit working. What most people refer to as her "work" is more of a calling for Mariah. Deeper than that. She feels most like herself when she's expressing her creativity to the public at large. She doesn't feel complete without it. She also has a very strong sense of self, you're not going to keep this girl down. If she gets knocked off she'll get back up. Her north node is in her Aries 10th house with her south node in Libra 4th house. Which means Mariah will receive a reversal of fortune if she chooses family over career or allows others to decide a career direction for her that goes against her gut instinct. She's meant to be career oriented in this lifetime. The two must be blended. She seems to be doing that well with the kids. Taking them with her and choosing creative project endeavors they can inspire or participate in. In her career, it would be best for Mariah to decide exactly what she wants to do and then hire a team of people who want to help her achieve those goals. Once she has that set, then and only then, she can take their ideas and opinions to meet her goals.

MC and James (realistically) (58,154)
by nikki from usa
| |
|
|
I don't see this going the long haul. Things are fun when they're new and quite frankly they're both rebounds. I really think in the end they'll be friends instead of lovers, but that's just my 2 C's. James is everything Nick isn't. Mariah is everything James ex isn't. These 2 are both alphas around the same age, both out of a second marriage 6 years along with kids, and both supported their spouses. I'd imagine it's refreshing for Mariah to date someone who has his own and she doesn't have anything he doesn't already have himself. I think it's new for James to date a woman that's her own empire, not need him, and there's almost nothing he could buy her she couldn't get herself. Both are business oriented, involved in the entertainment industry, have similar relationship experience, and a similar sense of humor and fun. These are all good things for a friendship foundation which is a great beginning for a more intimate relationship. However, I think the end result will be too many chefs in the kitchen.

I was going irate on that "45lb" loss article too. I think I figured it out though. Dumbass brainspew 101 = journalism. Rule #1 be vapid as all hell. If anyone's losing weight it's not to be healthy or feel better, but so you can marry a billionaire. Why else would he want you? It's not like he was dating her while she was heavy or Mariah ever gained and lost weight before, right? Rule #2 all "experts" must recently have had an aneurysm or a severe blow to the head if not outright blind. No woman under 6 ft can weigh 200 lbs without cottage cheese legs and arm flaps to fly away unless she's a bodybuilder. MC had a little extra wrapping on her package, she didn't eat Nick. At most, MC lost 20 lbs and over a 5 month period. That's not voodoo. Rule #3 is to always endorse plastic surgery because they pay well for shout outs. Sure, Mariah's a legend who is constantly photographed and you can see her double chin slowly disappearing over time, her legs becoming more shapely, and her hips slimming down, but that's why those paparazzi pictures aren't included.

It's a Christmas film for Hallmark. Made for TV movies like this are known for being heartwarming, sentimental, and yes, even cheesy, but, I still enjoy them. I love Christmas. Lol. If I am able to watch it online, I definitely plan to (my cable provider doesn't carry the channel).

Leaking that raw mic feed was incredibly dick to do. I understand she was late but still not cool. I think someone from NBC is mad at MC. They tried to sabotage her career right after that. I'm just glad she didn't lip sync. Imagine the embarrassment if you see the parts she mimed. I think she honestly sounded decent. Missed some notes but overall she was on tune, ad libs were on point. I'm not mad she refuses to sing on this year's show. They screwed her over. Hopefully she surprises us with something like the Jimmy Fallon number. Mariah is going hard this Christmas.

So, in the 45 pound loss "article" the following quote happened: "Mariah is gearing up to become a billionaire's wife and has already started referring to herself as billionairess." And I'm wondering: the people that are writing and approving this "piece", are they that stupid? I mean, seriously. Are they that much of idiots that they actually have the conviction that even idiots will believe such bull? No, really, this is a genuine query. Don't they think that even the bull they want to write lose credibility by virtue of such idiotic commentary? It's beyond me.

Queen of Christmas (58,144)
by Pau from Mexico

MC is rocking the numbers. Not only in iTunes as some other Lambs have been informing us. If you check Spotify, you'll see how she is scaling up the Global Top 200 chart. At the end of October she had 3,588,020 monthly listeners, was ranked in the 198th place in the world and had 726,395 followers. Today she has 6,121,113 monthly listeners, ranks 76th in the world and has 750,096 followers. On November 21 she appeared for the first time in the Global Top 200 chart in the 192th place with AIFCIY and she closed yesterday with 687,408 streams in 43th place. I guess we are going to see MC go even higher in that chart. Also, her views in YouTube have increased from a daily average of 850,000 in October to 1,540,429 in the last 7 days. Surely her average is going to increase during December, best proof is that yesterday (11/30) she achieved 1,945,109 views. There's no doubt Mariah is the queen of Christmas with this numbers. Although, as a fan, it is a little bit sad to think that in a month she is going to drop in the charts until next year. I really hope she'll perform in the Rockefeller Tree Lightning tomorrow, if she wants to be the queen, then she should go.
