Hollywood life (60,530) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
Hollywood life is notorious for printing made up stories and passing them off as true facts, but this article about Mariah taking care of Alison's kids is true and for the first time I believe that an "insider" did give this nugget of info to HL. The insider being Stella of course. But more than that what I found hilarious was this "An insider tells us it simply isn't true. Mariah loves each and every member of her family and has a heart that's bigger than her legendary voice," the source tells HollywoodLife. com exclusively. You can stream Mariah's music right here. Haha get that promo Stella. That flawless transition from Mariah having a "heart bigger than her voice" to the "stream her music here" gives me life. I had a good laugh. I love the positive press Mariah has been getting with the tour.

Overgasped (60,529) by May from Denmark
Wow, that "Without you", felt like going in a time machine and back to the glorious days. I loved when the music slowly stopped and she kept on and on, now whose gonna claim lip synch, that was amazing. I am so much in love with her body suits and all those sexy movements, didn't expect to see her all like that again, the last time I saw her doing such things was for "The Adventures of Mimi". Great to see her in shape (her arms still need more definition) but she is looking amazing, vocally she has been blowing more wind than her stage fan. I love the hair change as well. In fact, I like every thing I see and hear. Everybody is now at days wearing body suits, so it doesn't surprise me Mariah does too. But then again, it is not the first time she does. For her Charmbracelet tour she did wear some pink body suits as well. Granted she still doesn't dance much or do many steps, but I'm careless about it considering she is singing like a queen, I take the little steps any day than a mimic-screamer between songs like J-Lo or Britney, great dancers but not excellent singers.

Tour (60,528) by Victor from Costa Rica
Mariah, please come to Latin America. You are wasting a huge market opportunity. If you recapture your fans back, you will be invincible.

Re: Backup singers - male vs female (60,504) (60,527) by Victor from Costa Rica
I like both. I guess at the begining she was using male backup singers in order to let her voice shine. At that time no one could say that she received female support in order to sound good or similar to the records.

Re: Setlist (60,512) (60,525) by May from Denmark
"The Wind" would be the perfect choice considering that she has been doing these small jazzy numbers. It would go great with what she has been offering us lately.

Re: (60,516) (60,524) by May from Denmark
I thought the same B. And I truly like reading that she will have the last say as to what is going to be cut or not. It's her life and career after all.

That emerald dress (60,523) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
Slay me queen. I am not worthy. What in Lord's name is this gorgeousness? Is it even legal to look this good when it has the potential to cause people's heart to stop? I cannot at Mariah coming for the royal family throne. Queen Elizabeth needs to stay alert.

The London show (60,522) by Dennis from Miami, FL
I am 90% sure that Mariah would have George Michael on stage in London. It will be a dream come true if the will [...] some of GM songs together (let's say I Knew You Were Waiting For Me, Don't Let The Sun, or something from Faith). I am quite sure she will spend some time together with him in UK.

Re: Favorite / most listened to (60,519) (60,521) by Merr Hasenan from Malaysia
I can't limited myself to one song. So, I'm going for my top three - Butterfly, Breakdown and Almost Home. As a matter of fact, I listened to AH three times today.

Re: #Beautiful (60,517) (60,520) by Billy from England, UK
I so agree with you, I have just been listening to this song before and was thinking the same thing. It should be a number one song, she should also perform it in her new tour, and she best make new songs with Miguel. #Beautiful was so fresh and new sounding, I don't understand why it wasn't #1. Lets hope they make more music together soon.

Favorite / most listened to (60,519) by Ben from Sweden
What's your most listened to song of Mariah? In my teens "Whenever You Call" was the most played track of mine. I love the lyrics and somehow I think the piano fits, even though it's off-key.

Re: WBT (60,488) (60,518) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
Lol at Mariah asking the audience "does anyone remember this song" while performing WBT. Like girl, bye. Haha this song is probably one of her most known songs around the world and re-launched her career. Girl this song introduced you to a whole new generation of fans.

Re: #Beautiful (60,511) (60,517) by B from USA
I would love to hear her sing #Beautiful with Trey. Her voice wasn't in a good place when she was promoting it with Miguel. Since doing the residency and the tour her voice is in fine form and she could and can finally give the song the performance it deserves. #Beautiful was the song of the summer and should have been her 19th #1. I really hope she writes with Miguel again. Happy Perez produced the best song she's released in years so she should call him and Miguel up and get in the studio asap.

Mariah is using this as a vehicle to rehab her image. She is a diva that is on the joke but the public think she's serious when she's joking. Her recent interview about it being a documentary made me understand why she decided to do this project. She's still a megastar and a living legend. Dem babies aren't going to be on the show which means Mariah has put a lot of thought and effort into this project. This documentary is her way of proving she can still sing and that she's not out of touch with reality. I'm loving the ensembles she's wearing on tour.

Re: Mimi L. / bodysuits (60,507) (60,513) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
I loved all the outfits she wore (save for my panic attacks when she came out in the black bodysuit). She looked really good in the gowns too (both the pink and glittery one). I loved the hair she had during the glittery gown portion. But that being said, gowns and Mariah go back like babies and pacifiers, I am loving the bodysuit because it's something we didn't expect from Mariah at all. She is shaking things up, revamping herself, which is something I have been wanting for years now. I see the fire back in her.

Setlist (60,512) by MC1989 from Spain
All Alone In Love, Vanishing, Make It Happen, Can't Let Go, If It's Over, The Wind, AYNAF, Open Arms, Close My Eyes, I Still Believe, Crybaby, Never Too Far, Didn't Mean To Turn You On, Get Your Number. Oh please she could use so many of them.

#Beautiful (60,511) by Dennis from Miami, FL
Mariah, please perform #Beautiful during the tour. Or anything from MIAM.

Sweet Sweet Fantasy (60,510) by Lamb_O_Chop from Australia
All in all she looked absolutely jaw dropping drop dead beautiful, I'm loving the new found confidence, stage presence and energy. I live for her billion dollar legs and the way she oh so daintily strut/work the stage. Love all the gowns absolutely stunning. Her voice is returning to rare form, sounding raw, robust, and gorgeous. Loving it and so excited for her to keep this going and keep stepping it up each time. Now I ain't going to lie that black body suit made me nervous. One side looked higher cut than the other. I'm gonna need her seamstress to do better. The nude color one is cute though, with a few minor adjustments I'd say it's a keeper. Back to the positives: I predict by the wrapping of this tour Mariah's body will be even more snatched, her voice will be in even better shape, and she'll slay us with a new smash single.

Re: Against all odds (60,508) (60,509) by Lee TS from USA
You know what there's a super HD video of the performance where it's all up in her face. I didn't want to comment but since you brought up the climax. There's sort of a new tell with Mariah, I don't know if she developed it recently. But when she's singing live and concentrating on the notes, her head jerks a lot, almost uncontrollably. And when she lips her head stays put and she's performing for her life.

Against all odds (60,508) by Giovanni from USA
Was amazing. The climax is questionable, but she sang it very well.

Mimi L. / bodysuits (60,507) by Giovanni from USA
I just can't with the bodysuits. I think she should leave them to Beyonce and J Lo. However I loved the ensemble she wore for "When you believe" and "Against all odds". The hair was also very nice.

A lamb-based set list (60,506) by Marissa from USA
It's important to note that everyone who attends Mariah's concerts are not lambs, so it is important for her to perform her most popular songs that any lay-listener would know. Of course her constant performances of Hero and Vision Of Love bore me when I know that there are so many other great songs in her collection, but everyone in the audience isn't like us where we can name at least 90% of her catalog off of the top of our heads. So her catering strictly to lambs and performing practically an entire set list of obscure songs is not going to work. You're not going to catch her entire audience being able to sing along to Subtle Invitation, I Am Free or Babydoll. Ultimately I think she gave a reasonable amount of gems for the lambs while still being true to the "Mariah Carey" concert experience which inevitably features Emotions, WBT, IBT (I am so damn sick of this song. Actually, I don't know if I'm tired of the song or just tired of her bringing Trey out like he's some surprise celebrity guest when he goes every single place on earth that she does. But I'm being petty. ) and Hero. Maybe she could have added one more song, but whatever. I just hope that the next tour or country (or however that's gonna work) she switches out the obscure songs to let other album cuts shine rather than her becoming a creature of habit and thinking "when I want to surprise my lambs I'll always perform Loverboy from now on".

Re: Sweet Sweet Fantasy (60,494) (60,505) by Merr Hasenan from Malaysia
I wish she will change her setlist for her upcoming venues. Maybe she could do a medley just for the hardcore fans by including her fast songs (Prisoner, Now That I Know etc) or her lesser known ballads (And You Don't Remember, All I've Ever Wanted). But it will alienated the rest of the concertgoers. Just my wish. Oh. I will straight going to heaven if she sings When I Saw You live. Impossible? Nah. She reads this messageboard.

Backup singers - male vs female (60,504) by ADAM from USA
Does anyone remember when Mariah first came on the scene she sang exclusively with 3 male singers? I wonder why she doesn't anymore. Personally when I watch old clips of her performing with the guys I like their harmonies better than when MC uses Trey and the other 2 ladies. Does anyone else have the same/different opinion?
