Mariah and George M duet (59,718) by Seth M from South Africa It will be so nice if Mariah, while on tour in the UK, invites George Michael on stage for a "One More Try" duet. That is one of my favourite songs on MIAM and the depth of emotion evident in Mariah's vocals is reminiscent of the Music Box era. Mariah doesn't need to dance ala Beyonce to pull that off, she has a wide, meaningful, and great discography to slay the half-time show. (For those who think she is not capable of dancing/moving around, did you see Katy Perry's show last year? Kitty can't dance to save her life, the production was A+ though.) Stella Marina, here are some tracks to pick from: - I came to have a party (it's like that) to Migrate (T-Pain) transition. - Incorporate Fantasy Def Club mix with ODB mix. - Heartbreaker Remix feat. Jay Z bring them all Da Brat. - Touch My Body (DJ Zax remix) feat. Fatman Snoop. (This song is so hot in a club loud setting, crowd went wild last time I heard it played.) - We Belong Together (Reconstruction version). - Angels Cry (feat Ne-Yo & Pitbull) Jump Smokers remix version. (Maybe have Pitbull do a number before as a transition to MC song.) - When You Believe hologram performance with Whitney Houston (maybe with children choir on background). MC has an amazing catalog and strong stage presence. (Remember NFL M. Jordon tribute show with sporty sexy outfits?) Smart choices mixed with a high quality production. I say bring it. I've even seen photos of other apartments in that building and their floor plans lol. Too legendary of a pad. I hope it becomes a museum someday. Plus do you think she will ever part with ILT and SIO if she had any control over the content? (Noo, never, no baby, no baby oohh. *never forget you style*) Haha. While I don't think it will be the Vegas set list, I think we can be pretty sure it'll be close to her other usual set lists. She really doesn't change up much. I hope we have a ANYNAF performance. You are right about the Superbowl performer, that the person has to put up a show, which includes dancing and pulling big performance. Sigh. My Mariah vote (59,703) by David F from Mexico I do not know why the Superbowl halftime shows are becoming more and more egocentrics, a non entertainment event, but a platform to express political issues or to draw mass attention to a new specific song. I guess that is the reason why we may never see Mariah do such thing. I will forever keep her unique rendition as one of the best, she sang her heart that day. I just hope she can have her moment there, for she is the last true classic diva that America has, and they bring again two past performes like if there was not any more talent. Organizers please. Nick said that "Mariah and Beyonce text all the time". Then when Mariah was on 106 and Park to promote IBLYLT she said that Beyonce had gifted her the pinky ring she was wearing. Then of course they spent New Years together with L.A. Reid and his wife. After that it seems things might have changed. Wendy Williams / Dr Phil (59,699) by 123 from USA I have a whole new love for Dr. Phil. As you know, Wendy takes every moment she can get to criticise Mariah, which seems like every episode. So she brings up Mariah's parenting skills to Dr Phil to jab at her again, after she told L.A. Reid the day before "I love Mariah too" and he reminded her that Mariah mentioned her on her last number 1. When she brings up the engagement after 8 months, saying it's too soon, Dr Phil says long engagements don't tend to last. Then she goes on the criticize her for not telling her 4 year old twins yet, Dr. Phil said that 4 years olds don't have a concept yet of what's going on. You tried to get a doctor to co-sign with you Wendy but it didn't work, lol. She says the lambs are wrong about saying that she's hating or jealous of Mariah but we know she wants to be her. Obviously some parts are but her voice sounds fragile in other songs and then she sings Dreamlover incredibly strong without missing a note. Or is it an easier song for her to sing? Mariah and working with people (59,694) by Deedre aka MiTodoChop @HBF from Canada Personally, I don't think Mariah "needs" to work with JD again. Frankly I'm open to completely new collabs that have never been done. Not that I don't enjoy what their partnership has produced, but imo there's no "problem" with letting it go and creating something new. I also think relationships aren't perfect and go through ups and downs like most things do. I don't think MC would bother making tweet references (though, I know for some it was taken as shade, but I also think it's really easy to read into stuff posted on social media) or that JD would speak as candidly if there wasn't still a friendship there. Not saying I agree with everything JD has ever said or done either, because I don't. I just don't feel relationships are not cut and dry. JMO of course, for whatever its worth.
