Mariah media (54,869) by LC from USA I actually like the direction Mariah and her new team are going with this era. While I do agree with the posters here that the kissing pic is definitely staged, and that this whole relationship story was just handed to TMZ over the past week, I think it's a good thing in the long run. This whole #1 To Infinity era is image repair and damage control. Last year, the media destroyed her. There were so many stories about her divorce with Nick, her alleged mental instability and depression, her album flopping, her body, and of course, the bad performances that spread like wildfire all throughout the world. This year, it's different. Mariah and her team are using the media interest to their advantage. This relationship was bound to get out eventually. You can't hide someone who is one of the richest people on the planet. It was going to get out. So, Mariah is making sure she controls how the story spreads. It's a great idea. She's been one of the top stories this entire week on every major social media and news sites. People are talking about her. That's exactly what she needs. If she plays her cards right, with her alleged Game Of War deal, that Harpers Bazaar cover she shot in Paris, the Vegas shows, Empire, and her new Christmas movie, Mariah could very well make herself a comeback. We asked her to work for it, and that's what she's giving us. Although it seems like the recent photos are a little much, let's let Mariah do what she has to to reclaim the throne she deserves. I'm getting disillusioned (54,867) by Marissa from USA I agree with some of you. Now this "romance" is starting to look hella suspect. This doesn't feel very "Mariah" at all. It feels like she's trying too hard to prove that she's moved on. I have no issue with the paparazzi pics of them holding hands because they weren't the ones releasing them, but that awkward kissing photo and them posing for a pic every five minutes? I'm used to MC being discreet about her love life. This is feeling publicity stunt-ish. Also, is anyone else confused about how Mariah is comfortable dating a smoker? But I hope they keep it classy. I mean no need for pictures like that awkward kissing one and all. Those will do no good and won't fool anyone. Other than that, if Mariah's team is providing her candid pictures like the ones of her and Packer in the orange dress or whatever, it's fine. Those look normal. Word is this new Stella lady sent those "candid" photos to TMZ. Funny she is the producer of reality shows because this is very reality star-ish. This is not like Mariah. Her name is Stella Bulochnikov-Stopler. She is an American motion picture producer. She is an Executive Producer for Boss. She has also worked on Flavor of Love Girls: Charm School, Paris Hilton's My New BFF, Gone Too Far, and T. I. & Tiny as well as many other reality shows for VH1. So why would a reality TV producer be acting as Mariah's agent? I tried to find out more about her but there was not much info in the Google search that I did other than the same into over and over. I don't know but she doesn't fit in the picture, it's very Hollywood big players and whatnot, and there she is who produces ratchet television. I guess I would want more of a behind the scenes type of manager for Mariah, but instead it almost look like she wants to be the star of the show. Or maybe it's just her face I don't like. But, if we look at the past she typically gets married quickly. It just seems rushed, and when you rush into things it could be a mistake. He seems to be "love bombing" her. Which also has me a little concerned. I believe that Mariah and Nick are still technically married also. I don't think the divorce has been finalized yet. Correct me if I am wrong. So maybe that is a good thing, so that she can't rush just yet. However the life of celebrities is very different from our lives as "peasants". (Ha ha.) If we go by Mariah's history, she never did resort to pulling publicity stunts by hooking up with someone to be in the headlines. Our girl is saying the truth when she said she is a prude because in 25 years she has dated very few people. James and Mariah look happy together, I have no idea about Packer but I find it unlikely that Mariah will pull a stunt. She has her children with her along with Packer and I believe that if she was planning to just do it for the media, she wouldn't involve the kids. It's weird but for some reason I am like wow is Mariah really dating? Because it seems like ages (which it has been) since she dated and when she was dating Mark before Nick no one hardly knew about it since it was super hush hush. But anyways about the marriage rumor I hope she takes her time and considers everything before doing that. It's a rumor for now so I'll just ignore it.
