Nervous (53,378) by Randy from USA I don't care how well MC has done at her concerts, there's something about awards shows where she falls apart or lip syncs. Especially if she opens. As usual, I hope this time will be different. But it almost never is. And before you all attack me, remember that out of all my friends, I am the only MC fan. Everyone else are Patti Labelle or Whitney Houston fans who were masters of live performing. Whereas their music lacked. MC is a master of music but live performances, mostly after Oprah 1997 except in a few cases, have been mediocre at best. (Saturday 16 May 2015; 17:05)

Just wanted to vent a little bit (53,377) by Gilbert from USA Hi Lambs, so not sure if anyone here remembers me or not but I was pretty excited to have purchased tickets on my birthday 1/15 for 5/13 only to have the show canceled. Don't get me wrong my complaint isn't about her being ill, she is human and things happen. What I didn't appreciate was pretty much feeling like a nobody the way the situation was handled. No one got any type of notification to state the show was canceled until the time of the event. It was very heartbreaking to just show up and be handed a paper and told sorry your show is canceled, there will not be a rescheduled show. If you want tickets for the Saturday show get in line and see if you can get some. As a fan for 20 years that was the most horrible experience I've ever had when it comes to Mariah. If she knew she was sick as she stated for the past view days but says nothing until twitter is blowing up with messages from angry fans then she could've set something up. a voucher to her store, something but to be handed a sheet of paper was so heartbreaking. I didn't think I'd ever feel like crap and someone who wasn't important but the following day she posts pictures all smiling at the BBMA rehearsals. (Saturday 16 May 2015; 16:36)

WBT vs. Infinity (53,376) by DK from USA While reading the Vogue article about WBT 10th anniversary (where did the time go?), it was great to learn about the process of how the song came together. LA Reid's persistence for additional tracks was an interesting piece I didnt know. Also, I didnt realize that WBT debuted on the charts at #81 (I thought it started at a much better spot). Didn't Infinity just debut in the 80s too? I guess it is possible for it to make it's way to #1. As fans we hear about things first, but it takes a while for the mass population to get exposed to a song, and typically Mariah's songs have a snowball effect. It takes a few listens before they get stuck in your head forever, that's the quality of a "classic song". P.S. I LMAO-ed reading this line by Mariah during the making of WBT: "I need you baby and everybody knows, you without me is like Snoop without hos." (Obviously it didnt make the cut.) Good times. Ok what the heck? (53,374) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Someone please tell me this isn't true. I just checked out the wikipedia page for BBMAs 2015 (yes I am aware that anyone can change anything on it) but it has Mariah and Ariana's name in the same box with the songs "Infinity and Emotions" written beside them. Here is the link. Go to the table listing the performers. Look I'm all for people giving tributes to Mariah but they should be people who are "inspired" by her not try to straight up steal her sound and then not even cite her name when asked about her inspirations. Please let it be some sexy color like a red, plum, purple, gorgeous green (I haven't seen her wear a bright dark green gown in forever) or even a bight royal blue or go for the glamorous golds/champagnes or silvers. No blacks please, she wears way to many blacks and it is too safe, but I guess if she still wears one I will survive as long as it is glamorous. BBMA starts at 5pm (53,369) by Matty from Vancouver Canada I can't wait to see MC this Sunday at Caesars Palace. Just to give peace of mind to everyone else attending Sunday's show. The Billboard Music Awards start at 5pm at the MGM Grand, and Mariah hits the Caesars Stage at 8pm. I bet she'll be pumped up and in excellent voice after her Billboard performance. It's been way too long since the most legendary singer around has attended such a major awards show. I hope she does red carpet before the show, she's always so chill and fun on the carpet. I can't wait for this week when "Infinity" gets the promo push it deserves. I love her description of "Infinity" in the L.A. Times article as a blend of "Vision of Love", "Touch My Body", "Obsessed", and "We Belong Together". I can hear all those songs in it, plus "Always Be my Baby". The best review of the song made the statement that the song is like the "crown jewel of her extensive catalogue". I kinda have a feeling she's going to be switching up her sound for her first full length proper Epic release, and "Infinity" is meant as a bookend to the past 25 years. (Saturday 16 May 2015; 5:56)

I don't know about anyone else but I'd love to see her do some acting. I really enjoyed her in "Precious" and thought she was good. She definitely should have done more movies. So far I can see that Mariah is in the front row along with Britney and Nicki (I think). They moved Nick Jonas somewhere else. I, however, am still not liking it that the Kardashians are right behind Mariah. I mean what contribution to the music industry do they even have? Why are they even invited to these. And even if they are, you better go sit at the back. 1D, who are labelled one of the biggest bands in the world (I don't know how true that is but I keep hearing it and they are pretty good) are seated behind the Kardashians, like what the heck. I wonder where Beyonce will be seated. Oh as for Nicki, I think Mariah will be fine, she has history of handling these situations well. Remember when she ran into Thalia and Tommy at an event during TEOM? She was being civil with them but from the pictures it is so obvious that she is looking down on them, from the body language. Everyone involved in the making of WBT (Carey, Reid, Dupri, Austin, Ratner) weigh in on WBT being such a great song, a great video and how it was the beginning of a new chapter in Mariah's career. Ever since it was released, I have been hearing about how it was the last song to be written and recorded and to this day it feels so unreal that this song almost didn't make it into the album. I love almost all the songs on TEOM, but WBT will always be my favorite for various reasons. The song has a special place in my heart. It has a lot of memories attached to it. I can't believe it's over a decade old. Anyways they also talk about Infinity in it. I wonder what MC is doing to celebrate her 25 years milestone. She should celebrate it, she deserves it. Cheers, toast, bravo to 25 years of Mariah (53,357) by Tiina from Finland Today I'm grateful to have discovered Mariah and her music. I'm not going to get too personal here but her music has saved my life, so you get the picture. I'll be forever in debt to her. Sometimes we get so caught up in our criticisms and analysis that we forget to show the respect this woman deserves. We forget to be thankful for all that Mariah has done and still continues to do. She's still here, after 25 incredible years, still passionate about music and giving us real artistry (every single album she's released is truly a work of art and mean something to me). It's a blessing that she's sharing her rare talent with us. Imagine a life without her and never having had the privilege to hear such beauty. My life wouldn't be the same. Mariah's music has not only saved me, it has expanded my musical consciousness and music being my greatest passion in life, that's saying something. (Friday 15 May 2015; 23:38)

I'm just annoyed that, if the seating chart is true, the producers clearly just want the ratings to see if the tension boils over. Society feeds them. The more fans they have, the more exposure anything they touch gets. Clearly they are there for the ratings. The video, I think, was way too sexy, at that time, especially the helicopter scene, when Mase pulled Mariah up from the jetski, and she landed on his lap, while turning with her butt in that swimsuit. While he is raping her, you can see Mariah raps some lines along. The song full of sexuality and dubble meaning, is genius. The beat gets never dated. Sounding so sexy and free.
