Mariahpackercarey (54,782) by Leigh from USA When those 3 names are run together it sounds like a cocktail mixed in a glass bieker by a pharmacist from the early 19th century. Regardless of opinions we form about Mr. Packer (good, bad, or indifferent) and his intentions for MC, his money is a factor-as is Mariah's-regardles of whether any of us thinks it should be. But, as has been implied here many times, that a person's character is in no way propotionately related to their net worth. Leads me to ask a couple of questions about JP. 1) Besides just about anything he could buy for MC what does he have to offer that he can't buy or isn't for sale? 2) What were the issues with at least 2 people who married him, but decided there wasn't enough money to stay with him until that one vow of "death do us part"? 3) Does anyone else think that it is strange (in a not so good way) how the media has done a complete 360 in reporting on this relationship or moreover on MC? Sorry but a month ago there were minimal positive reports on anything MC was doing let alone how ahe looked. Now, regardless of how she looks they seem to be falling all over her. Not that I disagree, but a sincere reporter kind of seems lime an oxymoron in this case. Just thinking. (Monday 22 June 2015; 7:10)

I wasn't thinking about that when I first saw them together but I agree. I'm one of those people who believes that you don't introduce a man to your kids unless you are sure that this is the person you want to spend your life with. Going by what sources say that they have been dating a few weeks, I doubt that this point has been reached. I think that exposing your young kids to casual dating is dangerous because they could get attached to someone who could be out of your life in a short while. Please no one blow this out of proportion and think that I'm saying that MC is a bad mother, because I'm not. It's just not something I would do. Also I'm not saying that she can't date, I just think it should be kept under wraps for a while. What are the lambily's thoughts? (Monday 22 June 2015; 5:04)

Even rich people want fame (54,780) by 123 from USA I'm glad that she is out and about dating. I think it is funny how everybody thinks this guy is so great because he is a billionaire. Don't get me wrong, I wanted Mimi to date a man who had his own or even more than her as it is hard for her to trust anyone because she is so wealthy, but don't be fooled, just because he has more money doesn't mean he couldn't be using her as well. There are many rich men who want fame. Look at Sofia Vergara and her former BF. He is wealthier than she is but went behind her back and tried to get a role on a film she was working on. Wealth isn't enough for some people these days, some want fame. The man is not very attractive at all and doesn't look like the type that can keep someone's interest without having to spend a dime (ie good conversation, boring). I thought she was done with business men. Hopefully she will continue to date and allow herself to be wooed by several men and take her time dating. It was very immature of her to marry so quickly and she is getting a little long in the tooth to make these brash decisions like getting married with someone she barely knows. I just hope she takes her time to find the right man, she can now that she has babies as her biological clock is no longer ticking, however, having children means that you should take your time and not introduce them to, as Mariah would say, "every Tom, Dick or Harry". Father's Day post (54,778) by Licia from USA I'm happy that she did that. It's something you are supposed to do when you coparent. Put the ego aside and do the right thing. Nick's answer was great. He kept it on the kids with no mention of Mariah. If I don't know anything else I know that both he and Mariah love those kids. I hope they keep trying to remain civil in front of the kids. From personal experience there's nothing like having two feuding parents saying things about one another in front of me that they shouldn't say. He was also spotted holding hands with someone in Disneyland and he was probably just replying to those rumours. Is anyone else concerned that James was involved in a punch up with his best friend last year? I'm not convinced they're really dating yet. They thought she dated Brett Ratner a few months ago. I'll agree that being with Mariah brought more opportunities his way, but he wasn't broke. Many of the fans didn't know who he was or his background so they assumed he was in it for the money and was lesser. Obviously at the time his status didn't matter to her because of all the men in her life she chose to have children with him. My point is that nobody is saying whether this new man is a good guy or that he treats people well. All I'm seeing is that he's rich so she's good and she'll be happier. Last time I checked billionaires cheat and are butt holes too. Half the fans (including myself) have no idea who this man is, but they claim he's perfect for Mariah because he's rich. I don't think the distance between the US and Australia is that much of a problem when you are as rich as these two are. Latin Mariah (54,768) by this_is_qhm from the Philippines Just like jazz and reggae, Mariah rarely infused her songs with Latin sounds. I can only think about 3 tracks from her entire catalog that are Latin-influenced: My All, After Tonight and I Only Wanted. All songs are winners, especially My All which never fails to leave me speechless every time I hear it. But doesn't anyone else find it interesting and even impressive how these songs, when played in that order, tell a story about desperation, doubt, and loss? I wonder if Mariah intentionally wrote these songs as a trilogy. I mean with all the similarities in sound and continuity in the storylines, she had to, right? Regardless, they make for the perfect soundtrack for a rainy late night alone. Just like Bianca, maybe it's high time for Latin Mariah to come back. (Wait, is Bianca a feisty Latina? Haha.) Licia / the pros of Packer (54,767) by Marissa from USA I think the reason people are emphasizing his riches is because the general consensus of Nick's problem was that he was a gold digger using MC for a financial and career come-up. Since Packer's a billionaire, he doesn't need a dime of MC's money. I never thought I would utter these words, but there's not much that he could gain from Mariah that he doesn't already have. What Mariah provided for Nick wasn't just money, but plenty more career opportunities because people started taking him more seriously. They figured if a superstar like MC would marry and have kids with this man, maybe there's more to him than the "clownish" persona that he has. Packer is already respected and established so he doesn't need to use MC for career or financial boosts. Ultimately only God knows how this is gonna turn out, but it seems to be off to a more balanced start than her past partners. (Sunday 21 June 2015; 9:23)

Mariah is a more attractive woman than Kate, let's be real. No other woman to me has looked as hot and amazing as Mariah did in the "Beautiful" video. I'm also glad to see she's moved on and started fresh with someone new. She's looking really happy. And I have a feeling it's only a matter of time before we'll see her back in shape and bringing some great music on the way. I know most of us want at least one more good, successful era. He is tall so we know Mimi won't tower over him in her heels (not that it was a problem with Nick because he was tall too but this guy is just so tall and buff). He seems to be smitten by her judging by the articles and she seems to be happy with him. I heard Mariah inspired him to lose all the weight and that he was pursuing her for a while. So I am glad Mariah took her time to accept his advances instead of jumping right into it just for the sake of it. I won't even discuss the money angle because these two are individuals who are successful and rich on their own. Plus Mariah looks smoking hot, did anyone notice how her figure is total hourglass material in that orange outfit? I wish them all the best and hope to see more of them together. Stay happy Mariah. The Packer punch (54,756) by Ardis Logic from Earth MC knows how to "move on" with class. It's good to see a smile on her face. I read that she has known him for about 18 months. Her buddy Brett Ratner introduced them. They have been friends up until recently, then their relationship took a more romantic turn. I like that he at least has just as much money as she does, and then some. It appears that she has learned some valuable lessons from the past. Good for her.
