Infinity trends (54,038) by Malcolm from Asia So infinity is now released and for me, even if it's not what I've expected, I just want to have good vibes for it and for MC and after all it is better video compared to YME, she looks radiant and stunning and nice cinematography. Infinity also now trending worldwide and it's interesting because in the United States trend, Infinity is at #2 and the #1 spot is the "Beatles recipe". I don't know if it is about the band The Beatles but it's ironic to see that another "Beatles" is blocking MC to the top spot like in Billboard haha. Just for laughs Lambs, have a nice day. I hoped that the MV will help the Infinity to return to the BB100 and I wish it climbs at least to the top 50. (Tuesday 2 June 2015; 11:47)

Infinity / Caitlyn Jenner (54,037) by Lee TS from USA M looks really pretty in the video with nothing but beauty shots. I don't get the video, it doesn't gel very well and wasn't smooth. I like the concert footage because of the sparkly dress and the stage colors really popped, but it kept cutting and the shots didn't scream concert to me. I don't know much about cinematography but like the aerial shots didn't feel grand or the audience shots were so quick. I would've liked more outfit changes too, why must she stay in the black gown while lounging to swipe on her phone. Her bouncing in the closet looked funny and I expected the first "close the door" to have a huge moment but she just kinda slithers around. And I wish she was more expressive in the facial area, or even in her body language. It's very much smile and bounce. Actually no, her reactions to the guys were funny. The vanity moment was so so, it was very much I Stay In Love and I liked the original Infinity version better when she drew the inifinty sign with her lipstick. And just for laughs I think Mariah needs a better gaydar because she stays leaving with the gay boys. Girl. Now onto a total different and unrelated topic, Caitlyn Jenner formerly known as Bruce Jenner. What an amazing and brave person. MV (54,036) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter I am glad the video is out and I think Mariah looks gorgeous but, the video is a big disappointment for me. Don't get me wrong, I loved the shots and all but I was rooting for a storyline. This just seems like different haphazard concepts put together. The Vegas show shots, while gorgeous, dominated most of the videos, I would have instead preferred other shots. She could have saved the Vegas show one for a "live" version or alternate MV and use lesser footages of the show. I felt like the initial closet shots were so awkward. I mean MC looked awkward, during the "name hold weight like kilos". I was hoping she might dance around to it a little or even sit with like a bag of Fritos or whatever, you know, like playing out the verses she is singing. Plus why does she drive away with Jussie? I thought she was going to be loving herself more and more? MC-Brett was the team behind iconic videos like Heartbreaker and WBT, heck they even put in a storyline in Obsessed despite it being mainly dominated by glamor shots. Anyways, I feel bad being negative, but it is what it is, if other fans are happy, then good for them. Ending on a positive note, MC looked gorgeous in every frame. Infinity music video (54,035) by MimiLamb from Germany I think the video is cute, Mariah clearly was having fun, it didn't come across awkward like her You're Mine Eternal video. She was herself, and I loved how radiant she looked. Not disappointent and didn't expect more seeing as it was kind of obvious how the video was going to be. (Tuesday 2 June 2015; 10:09)

MV (54,034) by Jono from USA Much like the song, I was expecting more. Especially since Brett was the director. I wonder if the delayed release had anything to do with artistic differences, because this is so pedestrian from collaborators who brought Heartbreaker, It's Like That, WBT, and TMB. Interesting (54,032) by Giselle #1 Mariah Critic from USA How old are some of you? Seriously, I'll give you Beyonce is overrated. Her album wasn't all about sex and Beyonce takes a lot of chances as an artist then Mariah now. It's childish to tear down one singer's accomplishments, a female singer at that, just to build one of her mentors and closes friends in this business up. You don't win Grammy's because of music, this isn't the 1990's anymore. Everyone knows you win by connections which Beyonce has. Duh. I know some of you might not like what I say, but it's the truth. The voters love Beyonce and don't love Mariah has nothing to do with music, it's personal, get over it, Mariah has. Oh and we're talking about 2015 Mariah, enough with this pedal-stool crap that's why a lot of people don't like Mariah now. A lot of her fans and for the longest the media put her on it. Mariah/Britney would do well plus it would be Britney's song not hers. Oh and while I'm at it, I miss Issac and Andrew, Randy (though he still posts) bascially any non lamb whose not afraid to be honest and tell it like it is. Expectations (54,029) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Reading Licia's post about how Beyonce's fans will accept anything Bey puts out, I realized truer words have probably never been spoken. Mariah has a hard time pleasing fans. Just to be clear I'm not calling out anybody in this post, so if any comment resembles that of another poster, it's a coincidence. Basically from the very start MC has such rich songs that every time she goes a down the fun-songs route, some one or the other will get pissed. Beyonce can sing about surfboards and being "fresher than you" and her fans will have that song burning out the charts but MC sings about how someone is "acting corny like Fritos" and we all have a meltdown. (I personally love that line, it's very clever.) I also agree that if Bey puts out an album of farts, we can expect it to go to iTunes #1 within 30 minutes. Same happened with Taylor Swift. Her team accidentally put up a few second clip of just static noise and it shot to #1 on iTunes almost immediately. Unfair. Beyonce can keep repeating "smack it smack it in the air" or go on a 10 minute loop singing just the 2 words "feeling myself" on and on, and it's a hit. MC releases a deep song called TAOLG, it's thrown out of the window. Ain't nobody got time for deep songs. (Tuesday 2 June 2015; 4:00)

Fat shaming (54,027) by B from USA When Mariah is heavier than her Touch My Body days the media pounces. When she gained some weight during the TEOM era the media said she blew up like a tire. It is fat shaming at its finest and she isn't even fat. Once Mariah loses the weight she'll be considered hot again which is insane because she's still gorgeous and is by no means overweight. The media has been having a field day because she hasn't dropped the weight like she usually does which most likely means she's going about it in a healthy way. If she starved herself or went on some insane diet it would most likely affect her vocal cords. I would prefer Mariah happy and healthy with the ability to sing instead of thin and miserable and unable to sing. I know I'm rambling, lol. Does anyone understand what I'm saying? Mark my words the next time we see Mariah she will have shed the weight and she will be confident like she was before the marriage. Concerning Beyonce (54,026) by Jono from USA I think she should be given more credit. No she is not the most original artist, but she is one heck of a performer. Most entertainers who have spectacle/dance in their routines don't bother with the vocals as much (see Britney and JLo) but she still sings. Yes she may be overpraised and overexposed to the point where she is starting to get backlash, but Beyonce has always made it a known fact that Vision Of Love is what inspired her to learn vocal runs. Unlike other pop acts who don't bother acknowledging legends that have paved the way, Beyonce has always given the utmost respect to Mariah from what I've seen. Same goes with Rihanna. They've never written MC off as "irrelevant" even though that's such a corny and popular term for the instant gratification generation, who are so quick to throw around the utmost praise for their favorites who haven't earned the right. Even though B may have a far too pristine and perfect image, it says something about how her and her team are in control of her press. I could only wish Mariah received the same amount of universal love, but that just comes with a stellar PR team which MC lacked the past couple of years until late. (Tuesday 2 June 2015; 0:32)

Alejandro / top remixes (54,025) by Bill from the UK My gosh, just three? That is such a tough one. Love your choices. UTS drifting remix is divine and MC's scatting on the AYNAF remix is awesome. There are so many iconic remixes like Fantasy with ODB and the Def Club Mix of Dreamlover. However, if I had to choose, it would be the following (in no particular order): 1. Dreamlover (Bam Jam Soul) - Apparently this was the original version of the song before Sony asked Walter to make it more pop and less street. It sounds so much freer and relaxed to me. Much more care free and breezy than the version we all know and love. 2. I Still Believe (Pure Imagination Remix) - Wow. This is a masterpiece, it is literally a completely different song. The only resemblance to the original is the title. I think this is a wonderful track, so dreamy and mellow. 3. One Sweet Day (Sweet Acapella) - This is just a beautiful, beautiful rendition of the song. Such a joy to listen to. The harmonies between MC and Boyz II Men are spellbinding. So many honourable mentions though. The Joy To The World club mixes, the Mr Dupri Mix of ABMB, My All/Stay Awhile, and two mixes I must highlight. The Bossa Nova versions of both Butterfly and DYKWYGT are stunning. What a great topic but so incredibly hard to come up with just three. (Tuesday 2 June 2015; 0:04)

Beyonce (54,024) by Luke from United Kingdom Since we're on the subject of Beyonce, her sister is much more interesting and I listen to Solange's music so much more. Her voice is softer and easier on the ears. Unlike Beyonce, Solange keeps to a singing level that fits her voice and doesn't try to show off. I always think this is a smarter move if your range isn't that big as it compliments the music. I'd love to hear MC's and Solange's voices together, plus Mariah recently retweeted her. Lee / Beyonce (54,023) by Licia from USA Nobody is scared of Jay Z or AL Sharpton. I can honestly say I wouldn't be one of those black folks boycotting anybody because they said anything against B. They blew that roboho comment way out of proportion. Lol I like some of Beyonce's songs, but I'm not a diehard fan. Her first two albums were great. Anything after was blah IMO. The one thing that Beyonce has that Mariah doesn't have is diehard fans who will except anything that Beyonce puts out. She could do an album full of farts and her fans would buy it and swear it's innovative. Abbey Road sessions (54,021) by Will from England Listening/watching her impromptu performance of ILT makes me wish Mariah would do something similar to Kylie Minogue, who re-visited her hit songs and stripped them right down and re-invented them. No shade: I'm glad I'm not the only one (54,020) by Lamb_O_Chop from Australia I like Beyonce in passing, but I agree with you all she's beyond overrated. I'm sorry, but she's just an okay singer to me, her voice is very contrived sounding, from her forced vibrato, to her yelling tone. I've honestly never been amazed or thought "wow how did she do that with her voice" etc. I'll give her consistency singing wise (though her voice doesnt "wow" me she never sounds horrendous) and great show-womanship, but musically her songs just doesn't stand the test of time to me. I own a few of her albums and honestly they get old really fast. There's only a few songs here and there I can go back and enjoy, but the majority is just pop fluff. Her team did a great job at turning her image around though, because during that Destiny's Child period where two member were kicked to the curb, she was being called out by the media and even parodied on SNL and Mad TV and an controlling, egotistical b%tch. She (and her team) went into damage control overhaul and starting promoting her as "sweet and shy". Girl please. I'm sure not wanting to ruin her precious career is the reason she's painfully private and does not utter a shady word about anybody or anything (anymore that is). Anywho it worked wonders for her. Britney / Beyonce (54,019) by Abraham from USA How can someone's voice be shot if they had no voice to began with? Britney Spears can't sing, never could. She's practically the queen of auto tune. Next collaborater. I agree about Beyonce. She's definitely overrated. She's a decent singer but certainly nowhere near Mariah. I think Mariah should take a breather. Find herself as an artist and as a singer. Get back in shape, get some new producers and record some great material. [censored] On a side note, I'm missing Edward. (Monday 1 June 2015; 22:39)

B (54,018) by B from USA B has dumbed her lyrics down and sexed her image up. Mariah did these things but didn't devote entire albums to sex and world dominance. Beyoncé's ego is out of control and yet it's Mariah who is getting labeled a ditzy diva. She didn't and doesn't deserves 20 Grammy's. She did the surprise release because she didn't have a strong single. In a few years, most likely sooner than that, B will be facing the same challenges Mariah is facing now. Mariah didn't release underwhelming songs about her surfboart that are half sung half spoken. At least Mariah includes something for every fan on every album and that alone makes her a rarity. Now, what if that sold out was Rachel aka RaeRae aka Racine. She's been noticeably absent and it's a bit strange, she's usually there to fix a mic pac or screaming at fans. Mariah favourite remixes? (54,015) by Alejandro Cole from Colombia Hi guys. I decided to have a week of Mariah's remixes and re-visit them as she used to "re-sang" all her vocals for those and it is like listening to a whole new song. But I really can’t decide between my 3 favorites: 1. Underneath the stars (Drifting Remix). This one is Mariah on a very Hip hop mood with smooth and awesome new vocals and arrangements. You can feel her dominating as no one the R&B that run though her veins. 2. The one (So So Def Remix). This one is perfection. She acomplished a whole new song out of an existent song, new words meaning and flavor. Showcases Mariah's vocals in such an unique and effortless way that makes me wanna turn up the volume in my car for the whole world to listen. Is the "put your shades on" song for me? 3. Anytime you need a friend (C&C Club version). I mean, just sit and learn everybody. This is a master class of vocal ability.I don’t feel like saying anything more. Beyoncé (54,014) by Mike from FL, USA I agree Trox. Beyawnce is so overrated. 20 Grammys? She has done nothing innovative, imo. She can dance, I'll give her props there, but I can't for the life of me understand how she came to secure 20 Grammys.
