Hi Edward, will you kindly send me the mp3 of Lullaby of Birdland? Thank you so much. My email is bestvoiceMC@gmail.com. I have been checking out this site for years and this is my 2nd post. The thing I like here is the bond we share in loving Mimi. Whether her voice is gone/returned or whatever, as long as she has new music/tour, I will do my part as a fan in celebrating with her. It is not easy for a singer to be "relevant" in this age. Mimi has done very well compare to alot of her peers, or those who come after her. I just deeply appreciate her (and other veteran singers) effort in pushing on despite the hurdles physically, commercially or vocally.

Press release from 2015 Jamaican Jazz Festival (47,707)
by Travon..SweetSweetFantasy from USA

|
|
Global superstar Mariah Carey has been confirmed as the headline act for the 19th annual Jamaica Jazz & Blues Festival next January. Carey, regarded as the best-selling female artiste of all time, will be making her first-ever appearance in the Caribbean, and her signing is being seen as a major triumph for the world-renowned festival, scheduled for January 29 - 31 at the Trelawny Multi-purpose Stadium on Jamaica's north coast. "Welcoming Mariah Carey to Jamaica's shores is truly exciting and we are extremely pleased to announce this iconic star as our headline act for 2015, " festival producer Walter Elmore said yesterday. "Her agreeing to perform on our stage is a testament to the quality of our production. We are the only festival in the Western Hemisphere to present Mariah Carey since her last tour 2006.

That's what you responded with? How mature. I'm sorry I upset you, I sincerely apologize. No, I will not be going back and forth with you. No sir, my gosh, you're in your 40's, act like it. When did I ever state that I wore panties, lol? I honestly expected better from you.

I saw it on the set list. One of my faves. Wouldn't if she be cool if she sang it live like she did back then.

B, it wasn't an inconvenience at all. I love sharing these type of stuff with my fellow fans whenever I can. I just wanted to make sure you got it, and that it didn't end up in somebody else's inbox. As for the email, they are not case-sensitive, I was referring at the space between the two words. If you need an mp3 of any of the other videos that have been posted, just let me know.

Abraham, my post was intended for those who keep telling people what to post or not to, and you are one of them, so I didn't have to be specific. I want you to know that I respect the fact that you love wearing your panties, but assuming that the rest of us male fans like wearing them too is a little bit too much. I'm a fan of Mariah's. I'm not interested in imitating her or wearing any of her products. I don't have any problem with those who like that, but don't assume that just because you do, others do too. Another thing, why are you dragging Stacey into a post directed at me? I know it may sound cheesy, but my parents taught me to always treat women with respect. Oh, and my sister just informed me that wearing panties doesn't come with a bitch-pass.

I appreciate that everyone is able to express themselves here (47,700)

Which often means fans/posters aren't going to share the same perspective. That's to be expected. If we all shared the exact same thoughts, what would there be to talk about? I mean this in the most sincere, light-hearted, humorous way possible. March will will be my 37th birthday, and in the last few years I've really come to the place of acceptance of what is. For me, I don't come here and post because I want people to agree with me or because I want to convince people of my views on MC and her music. I don't have any control over anything but my own thoughts and responses. We don't have to have the same opinions on Mariah, to be respectful and kind to each other - especially when discussing her. It doesn't have to be so serious. Know what I mean. Vern? Lol.

Could she have been talking about the rumoured re-release? I don't know if what her dancer posted is true but he included December in the hastags so it could be a possibility. I'm most likely reaching but I desperately want her too re-release this amazing album and do thing's right this time around.

No need to get dirty. Edward says what he feels in a very open and polite way as always. And so does Stacey. Sentences like "your girlfriend Stacey" are not nice. We are all friends here even if I know you hate me, we are friends. Hatred is one sided. G.G. may not be my biggest fan on this board but I'm with GG on this one. Share your thoughts, and allow others too. It ain't that hard either. We all want to be heard and this is our platform.

Had Mariah performed Make It Look Good, one of my favorites from Me. I am Mariah... The Elusive Chanteuse. This song proves Mariah Carey could own the Adult Contemporary and Pop charts and radio if she wanted to. She obviously doesn't which is a shame. If she did she'd most likely score her #19th #1. Just saying.

Are you referring to me? If so, be man enough to address posts directly to whom you have a problem with. You seem upset? No need to get your panties in a bunch. I already stated that I was going to now ignore negative posts. So just like your girlfriend Stacey says. "Calm down, it ain't that deep." Peace.

Through the rain (47,689)
by Tiina from Finland

I'm so happy that Mariah is doing better and I wish everyone could see that. It's not about being perfect (which she can be in the studio) but she has improved a lot since the tour started, I mean a lot, so you got to give it to her (it's so true when they say that Mariah should never be counted out). Could be that she's been lifted emotionally by the special love that Asia has for her. Exactly what she needs now. I think she went on tour to connect with her fans to get the support she needs. She needs love to carry her through the sadness and disappointment of what's going on in her personal life. Too bad the tour started on a sour note but what matters is that she got through it and is shining again, she's trying. You know, I may criticize Mariah or talk about the state of her voice here (because I care, that's why I analyze) but I'm a huge fan and will never stop believing in Mariah, that's for sure. I guess I don't say it enough.

Self righteous moderators / really? (47,684)
by Edward from USA
| |
|
|
Self Righteous Moderators, can you please let Eric, The Webmaster, moderate. Last time I checked and for 16 years he's been the sole owner of MCArchives. For those who want to moderate, try putting together your own website, these days is not that difficult, you can have your very own Utopian la-la Land, so you could ban those fans that disagree with you're "my-way or no way" point of view. Stop telling people what to post or not to, it is getting tired. Let people express themselves for heaven sake. If someone is not impressed with any of Mariah's performances and states it, does that make him/her a hater? Do we have to go on a witch hunt for a one line statement now? And whatever happen with men being a little bit more polite towards women? Or is bitchiness the new go to go now? So, next time you feel like you're having an ass-attack, you might consider having a seat or maybe two, it might mitigate the damages.
