Gave Tommy Mottola credit (44,372) by Chicago Lamb from USA When Matt Lauer ask Mariah if the tabloids get to her she said, "One day it's in the paper, the next day they're wrapping fish with it. A brilliant writer once said that to me." It was actually Tommy Mottola who said it to Mariah to help her deal with sour reviews in the beginning of her career. Mimi L. (44,367) by M from USA I so hope you are right because this album is so good and deserves to have many hits singles. I am worried though. Mariah isn't even in the Billboard social 50. Even JLo is rising on this chart and getting radio airplay. Am I wrong in thinking Mariah's image is in the gutter so much people have moved on to newer generation similarities; Ariana? I do think of the "what ifs" right now. "Money" would have been a great lead single instead of YME, etc. I am still just scratching my head at how 6 years ago E=MC debuted at 463K and now Mariah can't sell 100K in her first week sales. Most fans seem to be annoyed that Mariah's singles are aiming toward hip-hop collaborations and less solo. I really hope YDKWTD non-rap is the single mix but yet the album version has the rap. YDKWTD (44,365) by Marissa from USA I'm so glad multiple sources are saying that YDKWTD is the next single. I feel like Thirsty would get lost in a sea of other hip hop songs. YDKWTD feels very unique and fresh to me. Pop has always been her sweet spot so I think this has great potential, but for goodness sake she needs to promote the hell out of it. Album charts (44,364) by pharaoh_shawn from New Zealand Official albums charts of New Zealand and Australia are in, since Me I Am Mariah was released on the 22nd of May and it didn't do too well #11 in NZ. This album has so many great songs and since Mariah kept saying that it reflects her journey over the last few years and that she sequenced the songs so that they form a story, it would be really nice to have her do videos for each song. One video can lead to another. Whatever video she releases next I hope it has a good concept and she doesn't end up just staring at the camera and touching herself. Loverboy (Firecracker) (44,356) by Bill from the UK The remix to Loverboy on the Glitter album kind of features the Firecracker sample. Da Brat's "hate on me" rap is to the tune of Firecracker, and rather cleverly calls out J. Lo ("you can't do what the (cough) I do, just be imitating me daily"). I have played the song 50 times a day minimum since the album came out, it is glorious, and the best thing she has ever done. I can't work out if she says "gooder than them other guys" or "gooder than them other fools", and no idea what she says rapidly before "supposed to be" in the chorus. But I get what you're saying about her voice sounding like a harmonica. It just blends with the instrument Stevie plays perfectly. I am so glad there are others on here who "get" the song lol. MIAM sales (44,347) by Andrew crisostomo from Canada, niagara falls I can't come to understand why the sales forecast is low. I think just based on the lamibily it should be sell near a million every time. She has 15 million followers on twitter so even if a fraction of those are lambs it should sell a bunch. Maybe the forecast is just based on iTunes. I don't know because I know the lambs go out and rather buy the physical copies like I did (2 copies physical plus 1 iTunes digital) and also think Mariah actually sells internationally too. She's global and some of these artists aren't, so worldwide she may be selling better. I actually think these numbers are wrong. What other fanbase buys multiple copies? Lambs.
