TAOLG Wikipedia (39,876) by Joachim Agerup Løkkevik from Norway
If you guys look at TAOLG Wikipedia article, you can see there that the song indeed has not been released on radio, but it has allready entered the Irish chart at #96. I mean, the Irish chart? When was she popular there? I hope a readio release is just around the corner, people deserve to listen to this song. I'm listening to it at this moment actually, I love the ending.

TAOLG (39,875) by PJW from The U.K.
I admit, I dismissed at first listen. I found it incoherent, lacking fluidity, a reclamation of Mine Again for the new decade, cousins to those unequal sisters My All and I Only Wanted. But then I listened again and the beauty of it dawned on me. Mariah doesn't quite talk, doesn't quite sing, but flutters and flows with beauty, ease and within her range, something I've asked of her for so long. The instrumentation is fantastic, the arrangement beautiful. It demonstrates a lot of maturity, I think. I've actually caught myself singing Aretha's Natural Woman and maybe feel songs in that vein have been an inspiration in some way. R.e. VOL being compared, it totally see it. The original VOL was, I reckon, very 50s, very simple, very slow "shoo-bop". Listen to live and especially acapella versions, especially of late, it's very apparent to me that was her intended direction with it. With TAOLG, it fits perfectly over that format, it's almost a modern re interpretation of a 50s/60s slow "shop bop" ballad. I absolutely adore it and am really looking forward to this album.

Views (39,874) by Stephen from London, United Kingdom
People are allowed to express their views, irrespective of whether they are positive, negative, or even just concern, as has been the case recently. This is a message board, and thus people post such views. If you take issue with anything said, don't take it do personally. To quote Stacey "it ain't that deep". Move on and get over it. Defending an opinion gets tiring. Moreover, it's a message board. We all have the freedom of expression. Deal with it.

Out100 / impromptu performance (39,873) by Stephen from London, United Kingdom
Mariah looked stunning at the Out 100 gala. She looked stylish, sexy and classic, all at the same time. Her impromptu performance was out of this world. I wish I could've been there. She was ver funny too lol.

You guys have some of the most refreshing comments I've seen in awhile. I thank you for them. As far as I know, TAOLG hasn't been released to radio or advertised as such. The Facebook thing was so all fans around the world would get to hear the song together for the first time. I don't know where people are getting that #Beautiful wasn't a hit, because it sold over a million copies in the US alone while The Emancipation just passed the 6 million mark. I'm hoping this is one of those "preview" things where Mariah winds up releasing this within the next couple weeks to the public at large now that the lambs got "first peak". Or maybe, all she's going for is sales, and wants to see if she can get around the politics of radio?

Cover idea (39,870) by OGmattyICE from US
My roommate was just playing "Take My Breath Away" by Berlin, and for some reason I thought maybe Mariah could cover this song. Personally I think it would sound very good in Mariah's version too. Just an idea.

Good vibes (39,869) by Stacey from USA
I know some have expressed concern over a 3:30 am FB post, but most of comments of TAOLG have been quite positive. No? Her voice is stellar on this song. The disjointedness may grow on me as I listen more and get a better feel for the song. Many have expressed those same thoughts. I see a general like of the song with many of the comments posted, unless I am on some alternative Archives website reality, lol.

Re: Joachim Agerup, bravo (39,865) by Badr from USA
I couldn't have said it better. I believe we should be praising Mariah for releasing such a great song. She is, once again, doing something different. She could be releasing dance tracks featuring the hottest pop act in an attempt to remain popular, but she lets her voice do the job. I agree, the new song is simply one of the best songs she's released since she left Sony. Musically, it is even more ambitious than many of the #1's she had back in the day. All I know is that this is the reason I love MC.

TAOLG (39,864) by Joachim Agerup Løkkevik from Norway
How can anyone here criticise Mariah now that she has released the best song in almost a decade? Some people here should take a chill pill. Even if the song doesn't chart well, I will most definitely put the song on repeat when the album is out. The song is strong, and at last Mariah's getting the recognition from the music industry that she deserves. It's a song dedicated to her fans, what more can we ask for?

You addressed everyone on this board in your original post, hence why I responded. Clarify next time. Just saying. By the way, you need to read closer too. You misspelled my name, lol. Oh and don't call me sweetie. You don't know me from sliced bread either enough to address me that way, lol. I think you are blowing the whole negative energy thing way out of proportion. Just a few have expressed a concern over a long FB post MC made in the middle of the night. It seemed odd. But, if it's nothing to worry about, then it's nothing. Most here love the song and the vibe has been quite good. So chill. It ain't that deep.

Best vocalist of all time (39,862) by Tony from Ireland
I've just seen Mariah's performance on Jimmy F, and I have to say that once again I fell in love with Mariah. What a wonderdul voice. She can sing anything and make my heart rush through lots of emotions. She is just looking stunning. How beautiful. I've been listening to TAOLG like 50 times today and is absolutely brilliant. I hope she will get an award for beat vocalist of all times. Hehe. And seriously people, stop talking about how her figure should look or how she should write her songs. We have to realize how lucky we are to have MC making music for us. She rules. Love and peace.

Wow (39,861) by Deedre aka MiTodoChop @HBF from Canada
I love it when she rifs like that so much. I'd love it if she did a full album of Gospel/Jazz one day. There's nothing quite like her voice. I wish that this would silence the "Mariah can't sing anymore" talk, but sadly it probably won't. Lol.

My previous post (39,860) by Ms. Giselle from USA
Thanks, to those that explained the "medicine" comment. I just wanted to clarify, I never would ever call me crazy. In fact nobody did. Like Stacy said, I remember those old VM messages too. We as fans were concerned. I wanted to address another post. Someone said American lambs are lazy, I disagree with that. People don't understand that Mariah's "diva" act has ruined her reputation to the average consumer. Google her name and go to news and read comments from people, they all think she's the out of touch diva who looks down on others which is not true. But this over the top diva image has hurt then did good. Oh and about the 14 million twitter followers, just ask Miley, Rihanna Ariana, Katy, JLo, do those "followers" mean anything? Look at their album sales. Enough said.

Impromptu Fallon performance (39,858) by Gerald from USA by the way of NYC
Now that is something to talk about. Mariah has once again shown the world her brilliance as songwriter and even more so as a vocalist. I love it.

Thank you for your post. Isn't it insane the way people keep up the negative energy towards MC. I couldn't agree with your post more.

Re: Billy, Stacy and Stephen / Jimmy Fallon private concert (39,856) by clueey23 from USA
Thanks Billy for understanding what I was saying in my post. Stacy, if you could go back and re read sweetie because if you didn't call MC crazy, I wasn't addressing you. That message was for everyone calling MC crazy and saying that she was having another breakdown. Stephen, thanks for calling me a "nut job", that was nice. But my point is proven because you don't know me from a piece of sliced bread and you called me crazy. Very rude and dismissive to what I was actually saying in my post and my opinion on people calling MC crazy. On another note, I really enjoyed MCs private show, well the 5 minutes that have been uploaded. Great vocals, her musicality is what makes her a genius, great audience and personality. I think MC is at her best by a piano or simply backed by live instruments, her voice just shines. Amazing!

I wonder if fruity pebbles were being thrown around too when she was tiptoeing around at 3:30 in the morning spiraling out of control.

TAOLG / Mimi's new signature ensemble (39,854) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
The first time I heard TAOLG I was a bit disappointed, I did not immediately like it. However after the second and third time, I started liking it and now I absolutely adore it. I think MC finally came up with a song that showcases her amazing voice. Also I've been noticing that Mariah has recently been wearing only black dresses/gowns/ensembles (the recent two with the ever so risky single string holding it together) paired with black gloves. Maybe she's making that her new style statement. Looks good on her. Gives her a more edgy look. I really hope she does a great video for this song. Something that matches with the feel of the song, and not just about glamour. I was really disappointed with #Beautiful's video.

Mariah Carey: Art Of Letting Go (39,852) by DivergentIntel from United States of America
Would any of you fellow lambs out there be nice enough to post a link to the new updated version of The Art Of Letting Go? I heard the original but I want to hear the new finished version. Thanks. Now in regards to MC's image, I think she should lose weight, because she has gained weight over the years. She needs to fix up her body shape and lose some weight. I also think she should do a more natural or new hair color and she needs new wardrobe and attire and fashion stylist. I also think she needs a new hairstyle. She should try short hair. She needs to be more classy with occasional sensual and sexual appeal tastefully and classfully.

I don't think that the plays on Facebook count towards where the single is positioned on the charts. As far as I am aware, it's only the YouTube/Vevo plays that count.

I really love this song (39,850) by Deedre aka MiTodoChop @HBF from Canada
I've been playing it a lot the past few days. The more I listen, the more I love it. I have to say, I have played the fan surprise video a few times, it's adorable. I'm glad they pulled it off because the reactions are awesome.

FB rant to push single up chart? (39,849) by CMC from NY,NY
Let's just start with I love the new song. It's actually an intirely new sound for Mariah and I never thought she would give us at this stage such a vulnerable raw vocal. I believe she obviously wants this single to sky rocket, that's her thing. It's like each single so far has been a test to see where it who it will attract. With that said I cannot believe no one has stated what I thought moments after I read the FB post regarding wrong song played. Doesn't each time the song is played credit toward chart success? Therefore have the slightest difference in the song (which I don't even notice) and having her 13 million followers play the new version again and compare with the old (as I did over and over), wouldn't that be a completely genious plan and ploy for Mariah to boost her way up the singles chart? And no other venue other than Facebook would she be able to to that. Quite suspicious to me in fact. Hmmmmm does no one else see that? Thoughts?

That's so funny that you say that about the bridge, that's the part of the song that's been looping in my head all day today as well. Sounds so nice.
