Finally (38,478) by Licia from USA
This is what we want. Even though I like Asap Rocky (btw he's not an unknown rapper as some of you want to say, he may be new to you, but he's not unknown), I wasn't feeling that first one. The Spanglish one is growing on me. I don't do dance mixes, so I didn't even listen to that one. This is the one. I'm glad she resang the song for the hip hop mix.

#Beautiful Jeezy remix (38,477) by Brad from USA
Hi lambs. This is is much, much better. Production is better than the first two remixes, the rap is relevant to the song and Mariah adds some new ad libs and vocals. All in all more satisfying. I wouldn't mind hearing this on the radio. Take care everyone.

MC ft Young Jeezy remix (38,476) by Stacey from USA
Man, I would love those vocals on the original version, lol. MC sounded so good. More Mariah is always a good thing. The guest rapper stint isn't my thing, but those resung vocals were killer, especially the beginning.

Lyric / Chase / Stephen (38,475) by Stacey from USA
Well said, my friends. I especially loved Lyric's post. Fans who wear rose colored glasses loving everything MC puts do her a diservice. Even after supporting her longer than some of your time on earth, lol, some of us still can't express concern over the direction of her latest efforts. I keep going back to that point because some fans think they can throw away my 20+ years of support because I offer some constructive criticism. Just baffles me some folks can't tell the difference between negativity and constructive criticism. Who knows what the issue is these days. I thought things were back on point and then an album pushback to who knows where. Who is dropping the ball here? I don't know. All I want for MC is continued success. I couldn't be more happier for her additional roles as wife and mother (as I am both too).

Mariah and Jeezy (38,474) by Anonymous from
I loved it. I also love Side Effects. Their voices are great together.

#Beautiful, Jeezy remix (38,473) by Joe from United Kingdom
I said I would await the rest of the remixes before being completely negative, unlike some people (no offence). I'm glad I did, because I'm actually liking this remix. I enjoyed jeezy's verse and Mariah's re-sung vocals. This is a much better effort then those previous remixes.

Beautiful remixes (38,472) by Gerald from USA by the way of NYC
After some false starts we finally got a winner. The hip hop remix featuring Miguel and Young Jeezy is what the world has been waiting for. Straight fire.

Jeezy mix (38,471) by Will from England
Yes, yes, yes. Finally, a good remix of the song. Redone vocals, a relevant rap from Jeezy, what more could I ask for? This is the one she should have released first out of the ones that we've had so far. Now it's just one more to go. But so far, this one is the stand out one for me. Great.

#Beautiful remix feat Jeezy (38,470) by Jono from USA
There we go Mariah. I'm glad she finally delivered with one of the remixes. I always love when she re-sings her vocals. Even though I still adore the original, this track is actually worthy enough to be deemed a remix. And it sounds like a completely different production level than the other three that were released.

Todd / Mariah as a human being (38,469) by Chase from USA
I don't think many of us would claim to be musicians or attempt to put an album together, but since Mariah's been doing it for 23 years, as you've pointed out, we might expect her to be able to do so successfully. Especially since we've supported her career that entire time. I agree that recording albums is a profession, not a life, and I also agree that being a mother and wife is more important than recording hit singles and albums. I get it. She's a human being, and that's the most important thing. But let's face it: We only know the public Mariah. We only know the career woman. Even interviews, tweets, photos and the like are calculations and products. If she's sick of making music, if she's sick of her career, I'd rather she took a break instead of putting out weak or lazy material. The general public is not going to buy an album because they appreciate someone's humanity. Mariah's hardcore fan base can love and respect her as a human being, but we are also going to respond to the product we're getting. After all, we wouldn't be fans if we hadn't originally liked the product she made.

Only time will tell (38,468) by TJ from Norway
I think we all should enjoy the summer, and when the album get released, we can comment on her music, lack of interrest and so on. I guess she has to work her ass off just now, since the album got pushed back. We have experienced this before, and I don't think it's the end of the world.

Louie Vega Dance Remix (38,467) by Lee from UK
The Louie Vega Dance Remix is the best of a bad bunch so far. I'm not crazy about the beginning, but it reaches a pleasing climax and comes to a beautiful ending. Out of them all, it is the only one I will play again.

Remixes (38,466) by Musti from UK
Lambs, am I the only one who thinks that these remixes aren't all that bad? Sure we're all sick of Mariah sticking an unknown rapper to a song and calling it a remix, and A$AP Rocky's lines are a little inappropriate for the song imo. But it's not her worst remix. And let's not forget that the sales of a remix will only help a song's position on Billboard if it's not materially different from the original. Perhaps that's why the A$AP mix is the only one to be released to iTunes? What is so terribly wrong with the woman wanting to extend her chart statistics? So what if we miss out on a few resung remixes. The Spanglish version is such a charm, she sounds so sublime in Spanish, even if the production on the song isn't all that good. And I'm really feeling the Louie Vega Remix. I geniunely believe that the main reason behind delaying the album was to give Beautiful a chance to crack the Top 10 before they release a second single. But even if that's not the reason, albums always get pushed back and just because she is Mariah and hasnt released a studio albums in 4 years does not make her the exception. I think the delay agitated a lot of fans, hence the unprecedented negative fan reaction to all 3 remixes so far. But I'm still on the Mariah bandwagon, and a delayed album and a few unworthy remixes won't make me jump. Beautiful has such a new sound and I'm still very excited about the album.

Parenthood (38,465) by Todd from Melbourne, Australia
Maybe once all the people saying "she needs to pick up her game etc etc" will realise that once you have kids, your priorities shift. If she went crazy with promo a la TEOM, you'd all be calling her a bad mother. And also, I've gotta laugh at the comments about how she's had so long to come up with new music etc. I'd love to see you lot try and put together lyrics and melody and have it resemble anything remotely musical. Music is her job. That's all it is. A job. It's not her life. Which is the healthy approach. It's just unfortunate that that there's a small group of obsessed folks that refuse to acknowledge that she's human, and maybe after doing the same job for 23 years, she's a bit over it. I would be.

Creative differences with Def Jam (38,464) by Edward from USA
It is sad, but I seriously believe Mariah is at war with Def Jam. I do think that the album was almost ready, but her label was not pleased with the semi end result. The fact that now we don't have an album title or a definite release date worries me. #Beautiful is a great single choice, but now with this chaos it might be too late to inject any life into it unless Mariah comes out with a great remix and video. Was Mariah producing another Memoirs? Was she whispering too much? I guess we'll never know, but I hope she keeps an open mind to constructive criticism from her label. She should know that her Midas golden touch is gone, and another Loverboy won't ever happen again. Her record label shelved Angel's Advocate for a reason we could experience with most of the remixes we heard from it. We all complained then about the cutting and pasting. My last hope is that at least one of the last two remixes saves the day. I would be lying if I said I only care about the music, I also care about the excitement of seeing her still relevant and successful. Maybe another #1 might be out of reach for her, but moderate success would be more than welcome.

I don't think it is sexist to express appreciation of Tommy Mottola's guidance. If Mariah were a man, I would say the same thing. I am also grateful the marriage is over and disgusted by the way Tommy treated her as a possession, not a wife. Also, I don't recall anyone saying they would jump off the bandwagon because of a few bad remixes. I believe we are frustrated because this is the latest in a long line of disappointments and lazy efforts. I admire and respect Mariah as a person, and I can separate that from my consumerism. If I choose not to continue purchasing her singles or albums following one disappointment after another, that does not mean I don't respect her as a person. In fact, I am thrilled she is a wife and mother of two beautiful twins. I haven't forgotten Mariah's talent, vision, and passion. Tommy didn't create that. I just wish she still delivered on the promise of her skill and creativity like she used to.

#Beautiful remixes (38,462) by Jay from USA
I kinda liked the first one with A$AP (or whatever). and I really like the Spanglish version #Hermosa. But this last remix, the Louie Vega Dance remix, is by far my least favorite remix... of all time. I live for her dance remixes. I really hope she's saving the best for last. I still hope that one day David Morales and she work together again. I also hope she and David Verde work together again. I liked the Triumphant remixes he did.

Over analyzing much? People who are fans of this woman want her to succeed commercially. That's part of being a fan. Maybe you just value the music only, but don't make others feel bad if they want Mariah to achieve success outside of that. If an artist isn't doing what they're capable of, their fans have a right to criticize. At the end of the day, we're the only ones who care about the state of Mariah's career enough to discuss it. The people complaining about complainers are just as annoying. For your information. Let people say what that want, no one means any harm.

[...] (38,457) by Billy from Greece
I really wonder sometimes how easily audiences and fan cultures are manipulated by the media and by the intentions of the entertainment industries. The comments of the recent days really verify this, often disturbing, relation between a "consumer"/fan of an artist and the "functional" presence of the artist in their life. Yes, most of you are not haters, debate over the meaning of lamb versus fan, giving Mariah tough love and so on. Bottom line, and what I see, is no one really cares about Mariah. You care about her marketability. Yes, quality of output determines the level of adoration but to see people getting "off the bandwagon" after a so-called "insulting" remix is beyond juvenile. Not to mention the sickening at this point comparisons between Mariah's suppossedly perfect Mottola days and her failed solo endeavors post-dicorce, not realizing the disgustingly sexist undertones of these comments or failing to acknowledge the economic-cultural-corporation context within which each project was produced. Poor Mariah is unable to do anything by herself. Only master Mottola knew what to do with her. Poor her, only TEOM was the only success she did without him. The level of interpreting circumstances and valuing art and artist versus stock market, commercialization and chart "success" is really embarassing at this point.

Fourth of July dress (38,456) by Chase from USA
It reminds me of her outfit for the Behind the Music concert in 2005. She looks great. I hope the performance went well.

#Beautiful dance remix/Memoirs (38,455) by clueey23 from USA
So I like the dance remix. Not the best but I like it because it's stripped down. The Rocky remix is on iTunes now. I can't wait to hear the hip hop mix which I would think would be the one with the resung vocals. On a side note, I love Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel. I can't wait for the BET Awards.

#Louie Vega dance remix (38,454) by Brad from USA
Hi lambs. Well, finally a tolerable remix. Louie did the best he could since the song doesn't lend itself to dance, at all. I always, always, always believe even when I am at my most critical. I never give up on her because of all the wonder she has brought me over the years. I am still looking for that "distant glimmer of hope" for this new era. Be well.
