#Beautiful video (37,803) by B from UK I saw the video and whilst I quite like the barn scenes, I totally agree it looks like someone is hogging the bathroom, maybe they should make one available. Haha. Anyway, she looks fun and playful in the barn, but I just don't like the bike scenes, especially just after he asks her to turn around, I don't really need to know what her sex face looks like, thank you!. I totally agree (37,802) by Stacey from USA I read through so many posts, I forgot to acknowledge RadChad and Jamie made excellent points too. I agree with Jamie. RadChad summed it up best. Where is that classy-sexy vibe? Even as I was watching the video, I found myself loving #Beautiful even more. It gets better with every listen. This video just cheapens it. New video (37,801) by Sasha from Nomansland I didn't know Miguel, but I really like his voice and he looks great in the video. Mariah... is Mariah and she's just doing what she does the best in her videos. I don't expect anything anymore from her when it comes to her videos, actually I avoid watching them since Loverboy, because I really do think they ruined the songs most of the time. Anyway, the song is great and it was a smart move singing it with Miguel. I really hope her next album will be in the same spirit. (Friday 10 May 2013; 19:32)

Sometimes I think a video can hurt a beautiful song if it's too generic and superficial. I love that you are still have a smoking body at your age, but baby you don't need to flaunt it too much in all of your videos. Who directed WBT, ABMB, Dreamlover? Asked them to direct a video for you again. I want this song to succeed and potentially become your 19th #1, but with videos like this it's hurting its chances. I love the song more than the video (37,798) by Deedre aka MiTodoChop @HBF from Canada Please don't take what I am about to say as slamming MC, because I'm not. I adore her. I love the song, it has been on repeat since I bought it. I like the summer lighting shots and the windblown hair moments, but for me the video loses the song. It's not that Mariah isn't sexy. She's a sexy, gorgeous woman, but honestly #Beautiful for me when I listened to the lyrics although the do indeed allude to being physically beautiful, the opening A** line ect for me the song isn't about the physical part. For me the song captured the feeling of being free, enjoying life, being out in the sun, feeling the sun on your skin and the wind in your hair. Being with someone who makes you feel good and smile so bright it's contagious and makes the other person light up too. Being with someone who sees you from the inside out ("Your mind is #Beautiful") emphasis on the hashtag for that line and what it means to be with someone who is attracted to you for who you are and you essence on the inside. The line about dancing "do it again" brought with it the feeling of how that person who is attracted to you for you finds you sensual in Jeans and a T-shirt. Perhaps I had a different perception of the song than what Mariah intended it to be. I'm fine with sexy, I love the Honey video ect, this just felt overdone to me. Less is always more sexy IMO and I think would have matched up with the song JMO. (Friday 10 May 2013; 19:05)

And in all fairness, the same argument could be applied to say VOL, Emotions, TGIFY, OSD or Fantasy or indeed IBLYLT. Not all of the videos will have a deep storyline/concept. I thought she looked great, and I guess that's the point of "#" Beautiful, because she did. The only thing that kind of stunned me was her flashing her panties more than once. I know she has done it before in other videos, but for me this one was not even subtle. Like why do you have to take it to that point. Other then that she looked great. Obsessed was awesome, poking fun at Eminem not wanting to let go of the past. Where are those types of videos? As I watched the video, I felt I was taken back to the MOAIA videos like HATE-U and IBLYLT with MC strutting around in next to nothing. To me, this kind of thing cheapens a great song. It perpetuates the public's attitude that MC is shallow and not the deep, amazing singer/songwriter we know. Sure, when you look so good, you want to show it off. But, does she have to show so much off? She's looked so beautiful during Idol's run. Even the white outfit she wore this week, which showed her belly (something I'm not usually a fan of), looked great because the "girls" were covered. I don't get it. Some fans will like the video, and some of us won't. Again, I'm critical because I know she can produce a better video. Go back and look at her past videos. You'll see my point. #Beautiful, video general thoughts (37,794) by Ali from USA Well I have to say that #Beautiful is one of my favorite MC songs of all time. I have been playing it repeatedly. The video was a bit of a let down. I was hoping for something in the vein of "Always Be My Baby" or Paula Abdul's "Rush RUsh". It's just nothing new. It's "HATEU" in a barn. "Loverboy" on a motorcycle. No wonder she hasn't won a VMA. With that said, I like the yellow dress, and the start with her and Miguel on the bicycle. I just feel it's a tad bit too overdone with the sexiness, and that will affect when it airs, who watches it, etc. Something like "We Belong Together" would have been spectacular. Her body looks great, I love the song and still super excited about this era. And yes I know MC, and this is her style, but I look forward to more thought out videos. (Friday 10 May 2013; 17:43)

#Beautiful video (37,789) by Giselle #1 Mariah Critic from USA I love the video. It's such a Sweetheart, Always Be My Baby, Dreamlover' kind of video. I hope and pray I look that good at 43 years old. The video is hot, I'm so sick of the fact that when Madonna whose 50+ wears sexy stuff she never gets trashed. She showed up at the Mala with a sexy outfit. Jenny Lo whose MC's age was on AI wearing skimpy clothes dancing and shaking her overrated butt on tv in front of kids. Yet Mariah always gets trashed. People seriously need to get a life. It was sexy, sultry and yet classy, it was just right. I think people still see her as the 1990-1997 Mariah. (Friday 10 May 2013; 16:43)

I love the video (37,786) by Lee from USA I like how she doesn't care about the fashion critics. To be honest, most of them look like crap in person. Heck, she looks better at 43 than most of them did at 23. Besides, it fits the video. It's supposed to be sexy and summery. It isn't like she is going to the Met Gala (which seems to be overrated since Kimye bribed their way in after they were rejected last year). The song has the same vibe as "Cruisin" from Smokie Robinson, so the car and motorcycle scenes make sense. (Friday 10 May 2013; 16:16)

The video (37,785) by Will from England I liked the simplicity of the video. It fits really well with what the song is about and yeah, I kinda expected Mariah to be herself in the video and why not? Her body rocks, she's going to show it off and be proud of it. She's lost a lot of weight since the Australian shows and now she's ready to do what she does best. I love it. Beautiful as a whole (37,784) by RadChad from United States Okay, the song is one of those songs that gets better and better with each listen, having said that I think it's a good infectious tune and will be a huge summer hit. As far as the video goes: I'll start with the good moments. She got her killer bod back, loved the silhouette poses she did, her energy was great (beats her laying down in every video). I just wish MC would've toned down the outfits just a wee bit, because it distracts from the song and haters wil have a field day with the way she's dressed. Also, all the leg and butt shots just looks a bit too contrived, the editor should found a more subtle/creative way to highlight MC's rocking body. The skirt dance was cute, but she shouldn't have raised it so high . You all know I love MC like no other, but in a nutshell the video could be a lot better (I wish I could've directed it). I just hope she doesn't follow this pattern with the rest of her videos, because her voice and natural beauty should be highlighted this era. I hope she comes to realize this and start taking the less is more approach (image wise), because that's where she really shines the brightest. (Friday 10 May 2013; 15:39)

Uh oh (37,783) by Lee from UK I like the summery feel to the video for Beautiful (the hashtag leaves a bad taste in my mouth). The colours and lighting are wonderful, but what on earth are all the vanity shots about? Sure Mariah looks hot, the hottest she has ever looked in fact, but when will Mariah once again produce a video with a story line? Miquel looks completely sinister throughout the whole video, but the very first word he sings is accompanied by an expression I can't even give words to. My worry is, Mariah has been on the worst dressed list ever since Honey, people often complain that the she doesn't dress appropriately for her age, her shape, whatever. Then during American Idol she has been so well dressed and always looked stunning. I fear that the ensemble she wore on the back of that bike is going down in history as the second worst thing she ever wore. The first being the whole wardrobe from the TAOM Tour. Getting sooo nervous about #Beautiful (37,781) by jaker20 from US For four consecutive days now, it's got the biggest update on radio. The last time we're getting this reception was We Belong Together and we all know how that turned out. MC is performing a medley in AI at the finale. I think she should perform #Beautiful instead. This is the right time. If she slays this performance, I feel the song is going to explode. Yeah yeah I know it's not about no.1s, but I can't help getting excited. The cinematography is nice, the lighting a bit too much at times, but basically it's as if someone drove straight from the "Loverboy" race track to pick up the crazy "Butterfly" horse whisperer at hers. I love when Mariah does vanity videos, because it's when she's at her best, and to be honest, it fits the theme of the song. Mariah looks stunning. Absolutely stunning. In fact, she looks so good, and she's so risk-ay in the video, that it will help generate hype. I mean, she looks smoking. She and Miguel look hot to be honest. The visual is simple, but gorgeous and somehow pleasantly engaging. The colours in the video are great. Mariah's body looks great. The leather hot pants are a style trend for summer, believe it or not, so from a fashion point of view she's on point too. I know the gays will be happy with this.
