Huff Post (36,928) by Stacey from USA
I've been married for 11 years now and I can tell you there are things that should be kept private between a man and his wife. This article is legit. I was skeptical of Nick and Mariah's quick marriage, but years later with 2 kids, I was honestly happy they were in love and making it work. I wish them the best. I wonder sometimes, though, if their age difference will get the better of them. MC has got to be a bit miffed behind the scenes.

Huffington Post (36,927) by Nattalie from USA
Dang. All I wanted to do was look up what was the latest on what was going on with Mariah. I didn't want to know all of this. All I want to do is be a fan and I didn't know that knowing all of this was part of the package. I'm sorry to be such a little kid, but I just don't see Mariah in this way. Thank God she is married. I see her more as a sista girl. Like me and my girls, we talk about such, but we don't tell each other everything, unless our relationship has gone bad and nothing is need to be kept private no more.

Huffington Post (36,926) by Will from England
Huh, whether or not that "article" is true (I hope it isn't, because I really don't need that image in my head), that's really too much into detail. If it's fake, then the person who wrote it has some serious and spent way too much time thinking about this.

Webmaster: I can assure this article is not fake. If you go to the Huffington Post website, you can see a videoclip of this interview.

Bring on another Jimmy Fallon moment (36,925) by Carol from Spain
The performance was the thing Mariah needed to cement even more her status as Christmas queen. We need more stuff like this. No matter what people say, she will always be the best. The album will be another proof of her amazing talent. I believe in Mariah.

Publicity without purpose (36,924) by Carol from Spain
Australian press needs to tone down a bit. These guys have been behaving so bad lately. Mariah doesn't need this.

Told you so (36,922) by Tony Sciacchitano from Australia
I said it last time in a message here that I was concerned about the media and Mariah and how the media are just dogs here in Australia. I've seen these ads already been played on tv. Just dumb. I get concerned because the way they treated Whitney when she came was pathetic. Thought after all that sh*t that she got she would never want to come back. And I don't want Mariah to feel the same.

5 million plus views and counting (36,921) by Rashidi Rahim Rick from Malaysia
Mariah and Jimmy's new Christmas video has collected 5 million plus views on YouTube, and the video was posted less than one week ago. This really shows that Mariah is still relevant.

Variety of preferences in Mariah's sound (36,920) by RadChad from United States
It's intriguing that though we're all lambs, we have different preferences in Mariah's catalogue of music. I agreed with the person that said they could never really get into "Stay The Night" from TEOM, I thought it was just me because most of the people I know love that song and see it as a standout track. On the contrary I absolutely love "One and Only" (still bump it today; it's one of my "go to" tracks), and yet others have stated they skip over that one. It's great that Mimi still has it in her to please everyone (something for everybody). Her recent performances have been very promising for the future. She must have really been nurturing that voice. I hope she continues to do whatever she's doing and continue to grow back stronger and stronger vocally.

Leito (36,919) by Will from England
Yes, I think it does have the potential to get to #1 under the new rules. I think there is a Facebook campaign to get it to become her 19th #1, and considering the popularity it gets every year, I don't think it would be that hard to do.

Leito/Billboard rules (36,918) by Edward from USA
Leito, the Billboard rules have changed, but for AIWFCIY to hit the #1 spot, it also needs lots of airplay. Since the song is not new, djs play it, but never gets to the point where it is everything you hear out there like when "We Belong Together" hit big. It will eventually chart based mostly on sales, but it will also drop quickly right after Christmas Day. It is sad that a song that could be considered a true #1 never got to own that title. I think that the only way the song could hit the top spot is if Mariah remakes it with another artist with a huge fanbase, but even if it happens that way, the song most likely would spend one week at #1 due to being a Christmas song, once Christmas is gone, so it is the song.

AIWFCIY possible #1 (36,917) by Leito from USA
Didn't the Billboard rules change recently? If so, doesn't this song have the chance to hit #1? If so, we should make it happen. Last I check it was #11 on iTunes. I just downloaded it myself.

Lipping vs singing live (36,916) by Stacey from USA
I don't expect Mariah to sing live every single time. Singing tons as she has over the course of her career has taken its toll on her voice. It's only natural. Celine Dion lipped a ton during her Vegas stint. She had to singing five nights a week. My only point after listening to this latest version of AIWFCIY is it's nice to hear an all live performance like that. It just shows the girl still has the "it" factor. That's all. Edward, I love Stay The Night. One & Only, Get Your Number, and To The Floor are usually skpped by me. After CB, I thought her newest trend was the whisper and I wasn't happy about that. Then I got a hold of preview clips of TEOM and I about fell out of my chair. I was so excited. She needs that kind of an album to put her back on the map. Videos like this latest festive one keep the anticipation high for her next move.

AIWFCIY on Fallon (36,915) by Stephen from London, United Kingdom
Brilliant. A wonderful version, which doesn't lose the song's melody. Also, a genius bit of marketing from Mariah and Jimmy, as the clip has gone viral and will no doubt promote Mariah's Christmas catelogue and Jimmy's show.

Can I just also say (36,914) by Anthony Early from Wales
I've been reading random reviews on Google and it seems like the media are loving this AIWFCIY performance. The best Christmas present is to see Mariah receive the rave reviews she deserves. I gotta say a big thank you to Jimmy Fallon also. Everyone in my household loves the performance and a few of my friends even downloaded the song after seeing this. Mariah's talent and incredible personality are deserving of recognition. I'm so happy.

Mimi, we want a new album with no fillers (36,913) by Edward from USA
The Emancipation Of Mimi did well as an album because, besides the quality, there weren't practically any fillers in it. I remember some of the reviewers back then stated it was the only album out there worth paying 10 dollars for. Most songs were worth listening to. I personally couldn't ever get into "Stay The Night" though. Another thing was the variety of genres in the album. I hope for an album like that in terms of the cohesiveness. I'm feeling very positive with about the good reviews she's getting for her Jimmy Fallon's performance.

Mariah on Fallon/Grammy nominations (36,912) by RibbonB from USA
Congrats to MC for such a cute rendition of her song and all the interest in her festive "funness", lol. I am so happy she also shared such a cute picture of Roc and Roe. That image is priceless of Roc staring at Roe, who was swathed in Hello Kitty paradise. Too cute. It was so nice to see my dude Miguel get a Grammy nomination for song of the year. I posted months ago, that he had one of the best song/r&b song in years. Good for him, although he may not win, that is a bug achievement. I also campaigned hard for Mariah to write a song with him. I still hope that happens, even though a while after I posted that, it was announced that he was in studio with Beyonce. There is still hope as John Legend has a song out written by Miguel. He is getting pretty hot and deservedly so. It's nice to see many of the Euro/techno-pop acts not getting Grammy play this year. None for Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj, Bieber etc. It's time to get back to more well-crafted music, with more flavor.

Jimmy Fallon performance (36,911) by Nelic from Taiwan
I love it. Again, she proves she can belt out the song. And the kids make me laugh many times. The perfect song for the perfect holidays and festive occasion.

Stacey (36,909) by Anthony Early from Wales
I too miss those performances, however I wasn't referring to the fans on this website, I was referring to the wider world who don't watch every performance like we do, see one less than stellar performance and gleefully rub their hands together and exclaim "She doesn't got it no more." I have been coming to this site since 2002, so I'm well enough equipped by now to know which people would be bashing her and I wouldn't for one moment suggest it was you guys.

Re: Stacey lipping vs singing (36,908) by Jamie from UK
People get upset, but I think Mariah does us a favor by lipping sometimes, to spare us from hearing her on a really bad day. Mediocre vocal performances from her are ironic hence avoided because of who she is. Same goes for Whitney Houston, except she didn't avoid. I remember fans walking out of her Australian concert because she sounded so bad. Understandably, because what would you expect from one of the best singers of all time? It kinda damaged her reputation. Since Butterfly, Mariah clearly strains to sing the harder notes and that isn't helping her voice get better, in fact the contrary. Her voice is delicate and I believe she preserves it by lip-syncing, so when she does, I just empathize.

Re: Nick AIWFCIY and "Where are you Christmas?" (36,907) by Jamie from UK
Yeah, it is rather ironic AIWFCIY wasn't a number one for her, but then again, it wasn't allowed to chart on the Hot 100 in 1994. Otherwise it would have certainly shot to number one. Interestingly, "Where are you Christmas?" is the 7th bestselling Christmas single in the US. I wonder how it would have done if Mariah's version was released instead.

Wow, MC on Fallon (36,905) by Stacey from USA
Wow. That was so amazing. The whole production from the instruments to the kids popping in and out was just perfect. I want more of this. Can I have an HQ mp3 of this too? Anthony, it's not that any of us don't think MC can sing anymore, it's just that we miss these type of "unplugged" performances. We know MC can sing so yes, it does bug when she lips more than she sings. It's nice to see her do a performance like this. Deedre, you are so right. It isn't Christmas without Ms. Mariah.

Jimmy Fallon performance (36,904) by Nick from Canada
I was taken aback by a YouTube comment which stated that AIWFCIY should be Mariah's 19th number one single. I cannot agree more. It's ironic that a singer who is known for her impressive collection of number one hits didn't top the chart with arguably her most classic record. I loved this Jimmy Fallon performance. I probably watched it about ten times already tonight. This is Mariah at her best.

Brilliant. Simply brilliant. I have felt unwell today, and after watching the performance I started feeling much better. Thank you Mariah.
