Everytime I see this header, I laugh out loud. Sounds like "cock". C'mon this didn't prosper and everybody is entitled on how they are gonna be a fan whether toxic or non toxic. At the end of the day, it's her success that drives us happy. Here's to another week at Numbah 1 for our eternal Christmas Song of All Time.

You are allowed to say whatever you want about Mariah, but you can't even speak the truth about the members. It's time for most of you guys to simply move on and live in the 90s with your outdated music and your distorted view about Mariah.

It was about where on earth you got the notion she "graciously stepped aside" on the matter. That's your interpretation based on the fact her legal team didn't respond within the time limit, nowhere has that been stated. Not by Mariah, her representatives, or any publication. As always you make up little embellishments to strengthen your opinion/narrative.
What probably happened, and I am speculating here, is that Mariah's team saw all the backlash from her attempt to trademark a phrase, as virtually every publication that wrote about it saw it for the money grab it was, and realised it would be more damaging to her brand than beneficial if she were to pursue it.

Bill, I'd like to remind you that pointing out anything that is unflattering to Mariah is insulting and demeaning. All posts must be reviewed by Mariah's team of expert sycophants to determine if it's flattering to Mariah. If it's flattering, we will allow it to move forward as "facts". If it's not flattering, the information cannot be mentioned.

I live less then 2 miles from MC's apartment and looking to potentially get a sighting before she leaves for an appearance. I once heard there was a twitter account ran by a fan that updates these things. Is anyone aware of this? Always wondered how fans outside her apartment knew of the specific timing ect. Side note: I promise I'm aware I sound like a complete stalker but promise I'm not.

Sources for the definition of trademark, Bill? Surely, you can look that up. Or did you mean for the legal process of a trademark and and objections? I'm pretty sure I specified how that works, but anyone can look that up too. It's not a story I'm referencing. I would be mind boggled if you were asking for proof of Mariah's headlines over the past decade as if she's never been called the Queen of Christmas before since you've been on this board for over 20 years. Everything else is on public record and it's not hard to search.

No - it's a moving float. All Macy performances are mimed by everyone. That's like saying it's ok for Britney to mime during a music video, but not Mariah because she's a Class A singer. Dude, it's a music vide, they all mime it, that's how its done. Macy's is never a live event because the float is moving down a street.

Can I just say this. Janet Jackson, Britney Spears, Ciara, JLo, Paula Abdul can lip sync without criticism. Mariah Carey who is considered one of the best vocalist of all time cannot. Patti Labelle is 99 years old. She woulda sang. I know. I know. It was outdoors, her ear monitors weren't working, it was air conditioning outside, she has nodules, her humidifiers weren't working in her sleep chamber, her background singers were too loud. The funny thing is... her lip syncing wasn't a surprise to me. The mic is a prop at this point. But y'all really excited about her Christmas concerts? It will be the best cut and paste lip sync performance in history. Kinda like the 1996 Grammys.

I was in NYC and missed Mariah by one day. I've just been back and on NY1 news they were saying she had auto cue for the lyrics in front of her. They were saying why would she need auto cue for a song she knows inside out.
It did surprise me too but then I thought maybe if her nerves got the better of her could she get overwhelmed and forget her lines. I hope it's not that's she's so far removed from reality that she needs prompting.

Anyone else notice that in recent weeks, she's been keeping dem boobies hidden or a little more subtle, which has resulted in more high end and sophisticated looks? I know it's not proper to comment on such things, and she can wear what she wants, but all of the looks that have been getting all of the positive talk from us and the media have all been where she is being slightly more mature with her looks.

Article: Drama with Donna Summer (101,693)
by Junaid from United Kingdom
| |
|
|
That is not a source but someone with a wild imagination posting on a message board. A source would be a legitimate website linking an article.
Here's where it falls apart. "Someone needs to tell that bitch she works for my husband." Mariah and Tommy divorced in 1998 and Divas Live (Diana Ross) was in 2000.
It's just as far fetched to say Mariah farted in a mic during Donna Summer's soundcheck. Clearly things went down during that show but unless you have proof it's ridiculous to post such shady sources. I can't believe fans would even discuss this. Legitimate criticism is one thing but far fetched theories is laughable.

by Jimmie from USA

I heard this story before, but what I heard on another blog like site from someone who said they worked at the Divas 2000 show was that Donna had a relatively nice dressing room, but it was Mariah who had a fit when she found out Donna's dressing room was nicer than hers. Donna was the first person Diana personally asked to be on the tribute show to Diana, so it's possible she got first choice of dressing rooms. The site said Donna graciously gave up the room to Mariah. Here's the source.
