Favorite non-successful song (93,532) by Stacey from USA Without a doubt, for me it's Lead The Way. How many people outside of Mariah's fans have heard this song? Talk about a song that deserves justice. One of her best ballads, if not top 5. Of course nothing can take the place of Till The End Of Time for me. But LTW song comes close. We are living a nightmare but unfortunately there is no waking up to get rid off the boogeyman. I was very impressed with the Queen's speech especially those poignant and hopeful words: "We will meet again." As you do and I believe most on this board will have, I find solace in Mariah's work. Yesterday evening I watched Glitter again after a long time and I actually enjoyed it thoroughly. Such strange days and weeks. I have never felt so sad and down as of lately yet I have never laughed so much either. Life is very funny that way and perhaps this terrible pandemic was brought upon us so we could rediscover the true meaning of our short time on this planet. (Tuesday 7 April 2020; 22:45)

For instance Love Takes Time was a number one in the US, but barely made the top 40 in the UK. But semantics aside, I would say in recent years it has been Unforgettable. I thought that song was modern and edgy, with a great subdued vocal delivery, in keeping with the mood of the song. From the olden days I'll go for The Roof. Limited release in Europe, barely dented the chart. But the lyrics, the atmosphere, the vocals, the imagery, and my gosh that video. One of the most sophisticated, elegant and moving songs from her catalogue. (Tuesday 7 April 2020; 20:53)

I would not have friends whom I message outside of this board if I was a complete dick. It's just the positive is outweighing the negative right now. I am genuinely worried about what is happening on an existential level. False political hope of getting out of it sooner than we can? It's nonsense. I know the Americans are lagging behind Europe but are feeling it just as bad. Especially with the nonsense coming out of the American President's mouth - a person I once supported. This is all insane. My Prime Minister is now in Intensive Care. We know that within 5 days you're either moved out of ICU or you're dead. He's not my head of state. The Queen is my head of state (God save her). But I am, as my country is, shocked. I have genuinely turned to Mariah's music in these times, just as I have always done when bad things happen. Her voice is a constant to me. Yes, I have a Queen. An actual one. And her speech was brilliant and soothing. For "we will meet again". But Mariah will provide me with another constant that I know of. Let's keep it positive. I wish all of you, genuinely, long and happy lives. (Tuesday 7 April 2020; 00:24)

The main one for me is the "reaching for a dream" intro for Make It Happen, I recite it every time the album version appears. Even when listening to Can't Let Go I add in the "if you know it sing along" line from Unplugged, and yell out "sing" (exclamation mark) after "I'll be eternally grateful" line in Vision of Love from MSG. And at the end of Dreamlover I add a "how ya doin" from the Thanksgiving special. I actually wore the tape out of my Thanksgiving video so had to get a new one. Just a great production from start to finish. Whenever I order a takeaway pizza when the delivery person rings the bell I always say "pizza everybody" like MC did when she made two pizzas for like 500 people lol. (Monday 6 April 2020; 21:17)
