There's too much promotion for the song and the show from both sides to just not use it. Sheesh. Lol. Anyway I thought the episode was cute and funny. Re: Merry a Christmas St Johns performances (90,900) by 123 from USA If her team is on the ball, they will submit the video format of the concert for a Netflix special during or after thanksgiving. It would be massive. Gaga had her documentary, Beyoncé had her cochella performance, but classic Christmas Mariah performances at her peak would really get a bunch of clicks and more interest in purchasing the deluxe version. Maybe even have an advert of the audio being available on the deluxe before and after the concert footage. It has tons of replay value because a documentary or performance you can watch once and forget about it, but a Christmas concert will rise again in views the following year, just like the music. There's a lot that goes on behind the scenes that we don't know about. Not everything is personal. I guess when the song is played on the next episode, it will make the show unpredictable and all that. That's why many people think the lambs are certifiable. (Wednesday 25 September 2019; 18:13)

But I am so happy a deluxe version that is worth opening the wallet is happening at all that I can't be upset. In the Mix (90,893) by Pablo from Spain Many times, the first episodes (pilots) of shows don't have the theme song, as they're shot around 6 months before it will air, as they have to present the pilots to the networks and they don't spend money on the theme. Merry Christmas 25 (90,892) by Taylor from USA This edition is definitely the most exciting and worthy with all the extra materials. I can't help but feeling a bit disappointed that there is no video for the concert. The audio tracks will sound amazing in their official production, but I wish there were the entire concert on video too. Dissed-ish (90,890) by Brad from USA They didn't use or play Mariah's theme song, In the Mix, at all in the series debut of mixed-ish. Though she may be better off, the show was predictable and not all that, at all. I would still consider it a diss though. The song can certainly be snipped and used in show segues and they just totally ignored it. So wrong. (Wednesday 25 September 2019; 03:40)

Black is my favorite color so the constant black ensembles didn't bother me. I never really got why fans always went crazy over her natural curls back in the day, but when she tried to recreate the looks from the first album I had my "oh" moment. The only blips in the Memoirs era was the H.A.T.U. and IWTKWLI videos. (Wednesday 25 September 2019; 03:33)

I just read over my old messages about it, I definitely owe this one to the good Lord above as he well and truly answered my prayer (exclamation mark). I honestly felt like I was in a dream when I read that tracklisting, plus, a new song to boot. Such great news. I wonder if the version of God Rest Ye Merry Gentleman will be the original or the other version that was on the "other" anniversary edition of the album. I think I prefer the original as it's always been engrained in my soul since 1994 and the re-mastered version sounds odd lol. But who cares we're getting the St John the Divine concert so I couldn't be more happy. If someone from Mariah's label read my message and did this off the back of my comment, I am forever in your debt. This will be the first time AIWFCIY has been heard performed live in the year of release. All we've had before is the Tokyo Dome performance, which was amazing, and then the ropey version from MicFeedGate. I have never wished my days away but please October hurry up and zip past so we can get to November lol. Also just seen there's a lovely green cassette.
