My hopes were up so high after her mostly awesome outfits from the Asian tour. Especially because it will be my bf's first time seeing her. I feel so embarrassed for what we are about to see. The current outfits just look thrown together last minute and super cheap. And don't even get me started on those tacky angel wings. I can't. Oh well I still look forward to seeing her. I was hoping that this year the costumes would be more classy and tasteful since Crustella is gone. Just a red dress or something very classy for the show would suit perfect. That song and those lyrics are so Mariah and she even said in an interview that the song is about a boy she liked In the 8th grade. Timberland beats/tracks are so universal. He has worked with so many artists from different genres of music, however you can always tell his signature producer sound. I believe Mariah and Timberland have worked together previously on other songs, however those songs didn't make certain albums. 8th Grade is way superior than OMG in my opinion but I have noticed that a lot fans love that song so I won't knock it unless Terna likes it. Merry Christmas (86,721) (86,764) by Terna from Nigeria For me the more Mariah created more music from her first album, the more her voice kept changing and losing it's rich, buttery dark qualities. So yeah the vocals on "Music Box" and "Merry Christmas" easily trump those on Daydream (that's not to say her voice isn't astounding on Daydream) but the diminished state is quite apparent by the Daydream LP. Her voice issues stem from the Daydream era. That back to back recording and excessive touring couldn't have been healthy on any singer especially after just wrapping up the [...] and Merry Christmas eras (where she also toured) and it caused the damage we hear on Butterfly. I must say Mariah's instrument is the most resilient of any singer I've ever heard, she's never had to cancel as a result of irreparable damage like Adele or Christina have in the past. Even on a cold she has many times taken the stage, performed and blown us away. That's a powerful instrument she's got. (Sunday 2 December 2018; 15:34)

Re: Trilogy (86,749) (86,762) by this_is_qhm from the Philippines Thanks for pointing that out. Story-wise, Lullaby is the sequel to The Roof despite being its complete opposite in terms of sound. Most people feel like Giving Me Life is the sequel because of its dark, late night vibe. To me, GML is too sparse and lacks the lush vocals of both The Roof and Lullaby to be the sequel of either. However, I think it combines elements from the two. GML's general tone and vibe plus the melody is definitely The Roof-inspired, while the opening notes that are repeated all thoughout the song before the outro as well as the punishing beat (albeit slower) is more reminiscent of Lullaby. It's nice how we all have different interpretations and opinions on the song. I love reading them and they really reveal quite a bit about what kind of listeners we are individually and how we enjoy music. (Sunday 2 December 2018; 15:30)

Even though the song have Mimi a melancholy feeling that she felt in 8th grade, the song lyrics themselves are very adult. I feel ashamed (86,758) by MC1989 from Spain First of all, she sounds great in her first Christmas show. Vocals on point. This being said, if Mariah wants to be taken seriously she should burn those horrible carnival wings and the even more terrible and awful Halloween costume she wears in AIWFCIY, the "take a look at my vagina" moment. What in hell was she thinking with those wings on? She looked ridiculous. The most tacky thing I've seen in a long time. Maybe it was a joke and I didn't get it. Really, this is scary. She really has no sense of ridicule. It's like if her team don't want her to succeed. Is Stella back or what? They didn't even change the song list. All the outfits look so tacky. Even the red one looks like a robe to walk around the house. I just don't get it, don't understand it. I love drag queens, I'm gay and I enjoy that way of art. But I think people are not going to the concerts to see a cheap drag show. Ir you're going to go that way, learn from RuPaul Drags Race. And if you want to put on a festive extravaganza show, with costumes etc, study Cher's extravaganza shows, and damn, hire the correct people. (Sunday 2 December 2018; 15:16)

It could be different in New York. That's why although I believe they should have been belted, I don't think the situation deserved all this attention because unless you live in New York or you've looked up the law, we have no idea if it actually was the wrong thing to do.
