Like real time. It would be like a Beyoncé release, but announced on live broadcast (unless she lips the announcement as well, haha, kidding). It would be an unexpected but welcome move. Promo plan (84,560) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter So I think I've already made it clear that I love the song and it's been a few days and I still have it on repeat, however, I am curious as to what exactly is Mariah's promo plan with the song? She must have been really confident about it to release it as the lead single (and I'm saying lead with emphasis) that too only 3 weeks after she released a new song. She also made it abundantly clear that GTFO was a buzz single and WY is the lead, so I'm curious that why is this song being ignored. Apart from the AMAs performance, we know of no other promotional plan like TV interviews/musical guest appearances, or any other form of press releases/interviews. She has been teasing the music video but is yet to release it. She will be out on international tour soon, so when exactly will the promo kick in? I just read on UKMix, someone was theorizing (one can call it "reaching for it") that maybe Mariah is holding off on the video because she will premier a remix with Drake at the AMAs, and then release the video with Drake. Now if this becomes true, it will be a brilliant move on Mariah's part and I'm here for it. Any of you have any idea about what could Mariah's strategy possibly be? Because no matter how big a bubble Mariah lives in, I don't think she's that daft to think she can top charts or get exposure for her song without any solid promo. (Monday 8 October 2018; 20:38)

In all seriousness though, Mariah can make headlines by finally "knowing" who J.Lo is haha. I hope she sits through the show though, instead of leaving. The exposure will help her. Will Mariah sing live at the AMA's? (84,555) by Kevyn from Germany I don't know why but I have the strange feeling that her performance at the American Music Awards will become a flop. Mariah is neither able to sing "With you" nor "GTFO" with her current voice live, so I don't know which song she will perform? If Mariah really dares to stay stiffly in front of her microphone on stage and pretend to sing any of these two songs I know this will be her last performance on any important award show. I really want Mariah to succeed but she's literally doing everything to destroy her status as "Songbird Supreme". You really need to know when your time is up and if that's the case you should focus on something else. She still can rock Vegas and the Christmas season each and every year without releasing weak songs once in a while just to stay relevant. I'm also really tired of seeing Mariah running around in lingerie while drinking alcohol at every possible situation and cursing in her songs. (Monday 8 October 2018; 19:30)

I still don’t think she will be in the headspace anytime soon to turn any one of those into a whole feature album. I think even JD said something to that effect in an interview once. Edward, Eric, Andrew and the MCA family (84,553) by Randy from USA I don't think I'm the grumpy nephew although I'm eternally 12 and clearly remember when Edward and I used to eavesdrop on MC in Sing-Sing. It was while Special K and Jade were classmate of MCs completing 500 hours of Beauty School and Andrew, Adam and Bill were bullies in the schoolyard. It was around the time Eric forgot to tell MC she wouldn't be the only judge. I lay awake sometimes under the covers listening to the radio. Always remember that I need at least 8 hours to put on a good performance because songwriting is more than half of what I do and it's all about the ensemble sometimes when you're a diva. She can still be an RnB singer but making one jazz album, because she is able to do it like the examples "The wind", " Subtle invitation" has shown. Even Lada Gaga did one with Tony Bennett, respect for that. When Mariah was on tour and did the introducing of the band, it was also very jazzy and sounded so good. And it's not like we are asking for a rock or country album. And she sung the Billie Holiday song live. Hmm I will keep that dream. (Monday 8 October 2018; 18:32)

It all depends on when you were introduced to her music. Me was with Butterfly so it makes sense. As for Jazz, I'm a fan, and I believe it would be amazing. I also believe that Jazz really speaks to her. It is part of her musical roots. She has stated that in interviews and has explored the genre: "The wind", "Subtle invitation", "There goes my heart", "I wish you knew", even "Make it look good" is very doo-wopy. There are thousands of GTFO memes and gifs and as the press release for With You states the streams and views are increasing at a steady pace so I'd say it's accomplished exactly what it was intended to do and then some.
