Well then stop reading Andrew's damn posts (84,867) by Special K from USA
Look all y'all whiney bitch ass folks who are complaining about Andrew need get the baby bibs from around your necks and chill. You know how Andrew is. Andrew ain't gonna change for nobody and he shouldn't. Let him do him and you continue to do you. If you don't like him then why in the hell do you continue to read his freaking posts? It's not like dude is hiding or in disguise when he posts. Andrew use the same damn name and he always has a picture of his damn face so what the hell? It's weird to me. You complaining about dude but read his posts and then make him a subject matter? That shit is hella funky funny. Look, Andrew gets on my nerves sometimes too. I do feel he can be racially incentive at times but there are times when I do agree with him. Straight up, if you don't like Andrew, then stop reading his damn posts.

Re: Angry Andrew (84,860) (84,864) by Robby from Chicago USA
I could not agree with you more Taylor. I respect everyones' perspective, opinion, criticism, but if these are just so below the belt then you probably better just leave the person alone. I guess he posts messages here to annoy us and that's the reason why I don't read his (and some members) message at all. Wouldn't it be nice to promote positivity amidst the craziness that is happening around the world? This is a great platform for that so whoever (Mariah fan) is going through some tough times can be inspired in anyway that he/she can. I come here everyday to see/read update about Mariah but some messages are just too hard to bear. If you don't like Mariah's decision or her lip-syncing then might as well stop being her fan.

So sad (84,863) by Edward from USA
Andrew, I think you owe Anthony an apology, but I definitely know you won't give it to him. It's sad because you're pretty capable of defending yourself against anybody here without hitting below the belt. You've taken personal information Anthony had given you in confidence and used it against him on a public messageboard for the sole purpose of humiliating him, it was disgusting. Do you think that after that post anybody here would be open to tell you anything over the phone? Yes, I know you don't give two [censored] about it. I've always thought you were a good person, but I don't think good people do shit like that. A*holes do.

So this corset thing... (84,862) by this_is_qhm from the Philippines
I'm sure Mariah has worn corsets before (and if she's worn them in the past, it wasn't really as noticeable as it is now) but when did she really start wearing them pretty much every time? All that constricting cannot be good. It already affects her breath control, thus affecting her singing. Constant use can't be good in the long run. Sure, it helps her achieve that hourglass figure, but she's fitter these days so she already has that going on naturally.

Her SG venue (84,861) by 90sMariah from SG
When I heard that she will be at the Star Vista theater for her concert, my BF and I thought: "Oof." First of all, the theater isn't even in the city area, or where where artists of her caliber should be performing at. Her last concert in Singapore, she was at the Singapore stadium - stadium, guys, stadium. Although she only used a third of it, but still, it's a venue worth her stature. Last I checked, her November concert still hasn't fully sold out yet (only the VIP has sold out) and the rest are still available. I guess the demand for her is really low this time so the current venue would suffice. BF and I will not be watching her this time since we've already seen her in 2010 and 2015. Best of luck to her.

Re: Angry Andrew (84,850) (84,860) by Taylor from USA
I don't post here often, partly because of people like Andrew, and the regular negative crew. Andrew, you truly seem like a vile human being. He airs personal information about another member just because the other member has displeased him. He is disgusting on every level. I suspect a number of personality disorders, which would be befitting of someone with a decent vocabulary, who often uses his vocabulary to manipulate others. He can play the role of contrarian, which he will surely do in response, but his nature is pretty clear to everyone. He is a damaged creature. I stopped coming here in favor of places like UK mix and ATRL who reference this place as an ancient harbor of hate. So Andrew get some therapy. Or maybe administer it to yourself, as I'm sure you think you are qualified.

Re: New Mariah Carey song co-written by Fresco Kane (84,855) (84,858) by Bobby A from United States
In 1990 - if we got the TEOM Mariah (free of Tommy) instead of the VOL Mariah would we be so hard on her for everything she does right now? I just think in 1990 Mariah was groomed to be sweet Mariah who didn't put curse words in her songs and drink Remy in the studio with rappers. Tommy wasn't going to have any of that foolishness. Since she has been set free, she is going to make up for all that lost time she couldn't do what she wanted to in the 90s. This is who Mariah is and we can talk about how this behavior makes her look bad all day; she is not going to change. She is eternally 12. Lol.

Lol yeah, to hear some people tell it, you are right. Insert eyeroll and chuckle here. Mariah is trolling in the drinking era, I do believe.

No Ribbon the rappers make her drink and name drop in her songs. He held her bottle of wine hostage until she agreed to talk about Remy in her song. I'm sure pure and honorable Walter didn't partake in such things.

Re: New Mariah Carey song co-written by Fresco Kane (84,854) (84,855) by RibbonB from USA
The Caymus and what not. I wonder if old Wally indulged? The drinking mentions are old, but she's been consistent with that. Her career and creative process is nothing like our nine to fives. She definitely could write great songs without name checking liquor or anything for that matter. That seems to be where she is at though.

I like how they skipped over the part in the article where she brought her own wine. Those darn rappers are bad influences bringing in that liquor, but her wine is ok to have during the process.

Re: With You (84,851) (84,852) by Bill from the UK
With You is definitely a grower that's for sure, but if it's taken us as fans a couple of weeks and multiple listens to get into it, I do worry about how successful the song will be outside her fan base. The video should help, it's actually her best since Touch My Body, and I hope she does some more TV spots and not sit there thinking that one lipped performance at the AMAs is enough promo, because it isn't.

With You (84,851) by anonymous from UK
I genuinely can't get this song out of my head. When I first heard it, I thought it was beautiful and I really loved it, but I felt it almost seemed like an extended interlude from one of her albums. Upon further listens, however, it just gets better and better, and it really does seem timeless, sitting just outside of an era in a place of its own. I find myself singing the verses under my breath when out and about, and when I listen to it, I just love it more and more. It might not be the chart topping wonder some hoped for, but it's a Mariah Carey song in the truest way, and I'm so happy with this direction she's taking, as I also love GTFO, which also sticks in my head.

And here we are with your favourite term - emotionally unstable. Which, I take it, you use to refer to anyone with emotion other than venom and criticism. No, I'm not going to "get my sass on" with you, Andrew. Your last post clearly demonstrated how mean spirited and unkind you are. I actually thank you for your attempt to publicly humiliate me this way, as it shows me that you have to be careful who you talk to and what you say, and also as an opportunity to have certain aspects of my life posted in a very unflattering light (and not entirely correct, I'll just add), and for me to choose to not allow you to affect me. A nice person? If that last message shows anything, no, you're really not. And I stand by everything I said in my original post, which is actually supported by your follow up attack on me. Have a nice weekend.

Re: New album (84,838) (84,848) by Bobby A from United States
It's interesting that MC's last show in Asia is November 9th. The following week is November 16th. Maybe be we will be surprised before Thanksgiving with a new album. Was E=MC2 the last album where a release date was set and the album dropped exactly on that date? Every album since then has been filled with push backs, delayed release dates and flop singles, And now with MC15 we just sit and wait for a public announcement to happen when she feels the time is right. I hope her team has a promotional plan that will put MOIA and MIAM to shame. I don't think her legacy can stand another flop album. Three years of songwriting and recording in the studio should not produce a flop album. Look at what happened to Usher's last album Hard II Love. It flopped big time and Usher just released Friday the worst album of his career called A for Atlanta with Zaytoven.

Missing crowd of fans in Japan (84,847) by 90sMariah from SG
I noticed that she no longer had huge crowd of fans waiting for her when she arrived in Japan. She used to be big in Japan, they go crazy for her over there, but the videos and pics I've seen of her, the once big group of fans that followed her everywhere are now gone. That must hurt.

With You challenge (84,846) by RibbonB from USA
Mimi needs a good, fun, viral moment. It can definitely help streaming and With You needs it based on the Vevo numbers. Monica saw a big bump off her old hit So Gon. Drake had the KiKi challenge not that he needed it. But those challenges can be funny, creative and cute. One idea could be put yourself in the vintage car with Mimi driving. The possibilities are endless.

That was Remy not "Henny" though. Not so cute when the songwriting veil is lifted? Although I'm sure the songwriters' bodies weren't blending.

Re: Mariah: queen of the redo (84,818) (84,844) by jaker20 from US
Because she is insecure. Her art is a reflection of her. She tries to cover up what in her mind are imperfections. It's the same as her stage performance. She stands in the corner because she wants to be perceived as perfect. She lip because she wants her voice to be perceived as flawless. The truth is no one cares about this perfection if she puts on a show. I can handle flawed voice, even partial lipping if it means her putting an effort on the show, walking, connecting with fans, a production that seem like she actually joined choreography, anything. Same with her music. She spends so much time engineering her sound it ends up blah and mechanical, soulless, by-the-numbers. With You is classic Mariah, the structure is the same as 90% of her songs, the lyrics is about 90% of what she already sang. At her age, if she really has nothing to prove then be real and vulnerable. People like that. What happened to her 10 years of motherhood, her travels and experiences, the people she met, the downside of fame and fortune, etc? Does she has nothing new to say? What did she learn in 30 years other than another trials of teenage love? All these Mariah-legend is facade she's riding. I feel her art and creativity ended in Butterfly and TEOM was a fluke. Take Motolla out of the equation and there's really not much left.
