Re: Greatest Mariah performance ever (?) (82,835) (82,839) by Dennis from Miami, FL
I'm sure I have listened more than 1k times to Mariah's version of You and I. Also I listen a lot to "America the beautiful". I like WBT from MTV VMA, I Still Believe from Billboard, "If it's over" from Grammys, "Close my eyes" from the Rosie's show, "Vision of love" from Blueprint and entire Here's Mariah Carey. And I not really into MTV Unplugged.

Wow. I'm listening to Voicenotes on repeat for few weeks. Just cannot get enough. "Call out my name by the weekend" is haunting me. His voice is magical. Even my mother who is 55 listens to them both. Then on my list I have Camilla Cabello, Portugal. The Man, Lana del Rey, Tee Grizzley, some Eastern European music. And this entire week I am listening and singing along to Keane's Hopes and Fears - one of my 10 most favourite albums ever.

When it comes to Roc Nation they strictly have the duties of management. As far as the record label Mariah is in a joint venture with Epic. She is still on the Epic page as well. So the new project will be brought to us by Epic/Butterfly MC records.

Current songs and albums (82,836) by Todd from Sydney, Australia
Because we are all moderately fond of Mariah, I wonder if that means we all have similar tastes in music? What songs/albums from 2018 are you guys enjoying? I really like "Voicenotes" by Charlie Puth, and my latest song obsessions are "Never Ever" by the Rubens (sometimes just on repeat), and "Pray for Me" by the Weeknd.

My personal favourite is "You and I" at the Stevie Wonder tribute. But if it has to be a MC song, then probably "Through the Rain" at the AMAs.

Re: "That's about me" song (82,779) (82,834) by Special K from USA
For me it would have to be Fly Like A Bird. When TEOM came out I was really at a dark place in my life. The first time I heard FLAB it bought me to tears and help me come out of the darkness and see the light. Another song would have to be It's Like That. Once I came out of my funk I was popping bottles and drinking bacardi ready to party every damn weekend, lol.

Yes Joy to the World was brilliant. Also, If It's Over at the Grammys is up there, and personally the London leg of the Daydream tour is the best ever, as I was there and it is such a great memory for me.

What do you think of resemblance when you hear this vocalise over Fourth Of July?

RocNation (82,831) by Bobby A from United States
I was checking RocNation's website this morning just looking at Mariah's page. I don't think she is with Epic anymore. The new album will be a RocNation release. I hope she gets the same album rollout that Rhianna's Anti received. This era is going to be pretty interesting because MC hasn't released an album since 2014. A lot has happened in her life since 2014. The new album title is going to reflect that.

Greatest Mariah performance ever (?) (82,830) by Billy from Greece
I usually find it limiting when we try to name the "greatest this" or the "greatest that", but would you agree that "Joy to The World" at St. John the Divine may be Mariah's most awe-inspiring live performance, also thanks to that gospel "tantrum" in the end? Even Mr Sony himself wrote that it is one of the greatest vocal performances ever.

SWHOF gala (82,829) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
Mariah looked like the superstar she truly is. Everything was on point including her beautiful smile. As for JD I will just say congratulations on a well deserved honor.

"That's about me" song (82,826) by Jeff from USA
Side Effects. It is almost like she took the words I couldn't say and said them for me. Thanks, MC. This one made the hard times a little easier to bear.

Mariah did look great. Can someone explain why JD is wearing one of Mariah's old HSN Pave' diamond rings on his left pinky though?

I agree she looked stunning. Congrats to JD. Mariah is getting inducted next time. I'm speaking it into existence. I feel like she won't be truly fulfilled until they finally acknowledge and give her the credit she deserves on her song writing. Your time is coming.

Yes this is how a global superstar, real diva looks like. Everything is on point and I can see her "inner glow". For me she's definitely back. Beautiful Mariah. The new insta pics are great too. Keep that glow MC.

Hall of Fame gala (82,821) by Tijl from Belgium
How incredibly gorgeous did Mariah look last night? The dress is spot on without too much exposure and the makeup is flawless. All the wannabe divas should sit back, watch and learn: this is what a global superstar/legend looks like.

Re: JD hate (82,806) (82,818) by Edouard from France
Not a distinctive sound? Really? To me JD's tracks and whole catalogue is the soundtrack of my adolescence. It's pure RnB. I mean c'mon TLC, DC, B2K, Monica, Usher, Brat, MC.
