Then 2 hours later the diva arrives fully glam, each person gets about 30 seconds to take a pic, say you love her or you love this/that song and it's over. Mariah looks dazed/loopy the entire time. We don't need more entertainers like that. I really miss the time when it was all about good music. And the female singers didn't need those videos for selling. Christina had the better voice than Britney, but when "Dirty" was released I lost every interest in her. Christina copied Mariah from the beginning. She has some catchy songs but she'll never be in the liga like Alicia Keys for example musically. The new song and video is boring to me. Luckily everyone has a different taste. Not everyone can pull off an entirely retro-themed album complete with an image rehaul and everything, and that she decided to take that plunge in 2006 took major balls. It paid off and still managed to sell well, especially for an album of such sound. It was after that that things really started to go downhill - fast. Bionic was a very uneven album with clunky singles and where many of the best tracks were pushed aside as bonuses. It came out at a time when GaGa and Ke$ha were ruling the charts with better and/or catchier material, so that most definitely didn't help. And Lotus was, well, it was what it was. I have a sinking feeling that Liberation is gonna end up worse than Katy's Witness or JT's Man Of The Woods commercially. Let's see how it does critically. (Monday 7 May 2018; 06:25)

The featured rappers just ruin it for me. Their appearances in the song are just jarring, they practically hijacked it. And the video, while interesting and colorful, seems to be inspired by this weird mouth-tongue-lube fetish. Christina's lead off singles are usually not the best songs on the album, so I still have great hopes for Liberation. (Monday 7 May 2018; 06:10)

Accelerate (82,316) by enwar00 from usa Interesting reading people's opinions here about Christina's new single. I'm obsessed with it. I've been listening to it and watching the video on my phone and on tv since she dropped it on Thursday. I was pleasantly surprised with it and with its overall direction. To me it's catchy and gets stuck in my head for hours. I actually like the colourful video and think it is artsy and sexy and think she's looking very youthful and pretty these days. So when opportunity presents itself, a solid number of fans would be willing to pay a lot for not much. While I would want Mariah to compensate for the exorbitant price tag on her meet&greet, I think it would be foolish to actually meet her at such a cost. I don't place blame on Mariah, I place it on the consumer. MC is a nice gal and does really thoughtful things for her fans, but meet&greets are not one of them. (Monday 7 May 2018; 00:04)

I was excited to hear new music from her, but this is trash. I actually had no idea Kanye had anything to do with this. He's definitely lost his touch musically. It really sounds like several songs stitched into one - it makes Mariah's own execution of the Frankenstein approach, Infinity, look so cohesive by comparison. And about Kanye - when exactly did he really lose his touch? I can't believe the one responsible for this mess is this is the same person who produced Madonna's sleek "Illuminati", Brandy's brilliant "Talk About Our Love", Janet's highly underrated "I Want You", and even Mariah's lovely Stay The Night, among other hits. Second Chance (82,309) by Rashidi Rahim Rick from Malaysia In one of the old interviews, Mariah told that she would love to have an album consist of all her unreleased songs and named the album as "Second Chance". So I guess if the new album is still farther away, she can just compile all her unreleased songs (she has plenty obviously) including her Pepsi Ringtone song, Time of Your Life, and make it into full song and release it as first single. Take your time MC (82,308) by Bobby A from United States I really feel MC is getting ready to surprise really soon. She hasn't confirmed any producers or collaborations yet. But if it is true about Poo Bear as one of the producers, I can't wait to see what they come up with. She always puts in the mix multiple producers and collaboration surprises. The anticipation and stakes are high so take your time Mariah. If Accelerate by Christina is any indication of her June Hip Hop album release then MC shouldn't rush her album. Accelerate is a disjointed Hip Hop mess. Her vocals are flat and muffled. The rap lines are off topic. Radio is going to pass on this song. Fly Livepass, but tickets go on sale to the general public tomorrow. Assuming there are still Meet and Greets available, it is available as an add on when you check out.
