GTFO (83,728) by Will from England I love it. The second verse especially speaks to me right now. It's an updated sound for her and yet is classic Mariah. Even though the f-word divides some fans, it's subtle and the way it's been sung doesn't make me mind it. It's not like on Beautiful where it was harshly sung by Miguel. I love the delivery of this song, having it full voice for the whole song would not have worked. And vocally, it's a big step up from I Don't. Been on repeat since I bought so it's a good start. I love the melody, the beat and her vocals are subtle, pleasant and understated. Definitely a little disappointed with the lyrics which could have been more mature and substantial and would have certainly elevated this song. The production makes it sound current and I have been listening to it over and over so it isn't a disappointing song for sure. It does not sound like a song she can perform live and I'll be surprised if she tries to and with all the "[censored]"s flying around it'll have to be quite a censored performance if it ever comes to that. I like the subtle throwbacks in "tings" (Cruise control) and "scusami" (O.O.C.). I actually wish the song was a little longer. it clocks in just under the golden 3:30 mark. Overall I'm happy with it but slightly underwhelmed. Lets hope the second single packs a bigger punch which I'm sure it will. 3.5 ⭐️ (Thursday 13 September 2018; 15:57)

GTFO (83,721) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City) This gives me a cross between Candy Bling and Betcha Gon know while it is current it's still Mariah which I am happy with. Hello again (83,717) by Luke from United Kingdom Merry Songmas everyone. Just wanted to join in the new song festivities. This sounds so fresh, I wasn't keen on the preview but the song sounds really nice as a whole and different to what she's done before. It reminds me of a slow tempo Skydiving because of the vocals. Her vocals are amazing as well, I'm still amazed at what she can do. Even though there isn't a lot of vocal acrobatics it sounds like a duet because of the two different tones she's using. GTFO (83,716) by Billy from Greece First thoughts: quite current aesthetically yet classic Mariah-esque vocal layering. Hook that seems to be addictive. It does bring to mind the flow of "Candy Bling" with the fast-paced singing. Very subtle, somehow dreamy. The "aggressiveness" of the title is juxtaposed with the relaxed tone of the song. I have not listened to the clip because I'd like to hear the song in its entirety. Those clips hardly ever do anything for me. From what y'all are saying she actually says the f word in the song and I'm not upset about it. I definitely don't want to hear a song from her full of curse words (although she's due to put out a song like that), but I'm not going to act as if I don't listen to other vulgar music and say some pretty vulgar things in my daily life. Just not a huge deal for me. I'm more worried about whether or not it's a sh*t song that she's putting out to cater to these teenagers who sit on social media all day yes queening her, but won't purchase her music. GTFO in 30 secs (83,714) by 90sMariah from SG I just heard it and OOF. Some lambs will like it and some lambs won't. I personally don't think it's a good sounding lead single, tbh. She's back doing her high-pitched whisper-mumbles that doesn't sound like what radio would play today. It doesn't sound catchy at all. I remember when Say Something leaked in 2005, ahead of the TEOM release and I thought "Wow I like it", but this ain't SS. GTFO sounds like a title for a teenager or a very young twen who is just starting in music biz. The funny thing is when Mariah started, her titles were perfect and never childish. I'm not making excuses for myself but much of that rant stems from so many lambs being negative towards this release. I have a fan chat of another small group of lambs who are much younger. Though they are definitely more immature and more childish they seem to understand that it's music and need not be sport. It may not be as prevalent but there are angry lambs there, just like twitter, blogs, everywhere. Again just call us naive, but we should all be celebratory - her last studio album was released in 2014. Mariah isn't making money anymore, and it seems like record labels have pulled out. Any promo or studio expenses are probably cut so low that she needs to be paying for it herself. Cherish some of these last moments because though she's rich, no one can afford to keep releasing albums. This new song is so hot, and in the lanes of what The Weeknd and co are releasing. It's sounds so catchy and so dreamy. A remix would be so dope, the song was also produced by one of the best ones. The song also has a deal with I heart and will be played a lot on their radios across US. Let's supprt Mariah more than ever, buy and stream the song. Let's do this "true lambily". Re: GTFO snips (83,698) (83,704) by Ronnie from California While I think that excessive profanity could easily degrade a song, album, or both, let us try not to over-criticize. I know it is in the song's title but it seems like she usually keeps vulgar language to a minimal (I trust that she will stay true to this). She cusses from time to time, but we have never heard a Mariah song plagued by repeated and overpowering f-bombs. I am more upset when she misuses words for the sake of having "incessantly unorthodox" lyrics (see what I did there?). I like when she incorporates words like "martyr" but only when done so seamless that it feels rights. Hopefully the rest of the song constains interesting lyrical choices that may distract the less-than-pleased general public and her hard-to-please stans. While this is somewhat my first album release, I may be too inexperienced to not find myself anxiously awaiting this next era. Even if this single is not to my liking, I'm glad that she is releasing a new album. Jumping on the fan-train so late in her career leaves me with so little primary experience that I would rather cherish however many eras left rather than letting them pass because I'm being stubborn, egotistical, harsh, or still waiting for 90's Mariah to magically reclaim her rightful place in the industry. I also try to keep in mind that this is one song on an entire album, and I'm almost guaranteed to have a few songs that I will enjoy considering how many genres she touches on a single album. To be disappointed, angry, frustrated, or anything like that about her creative decisions (or lack thereof) seems unhealthy. I don't have to think everything she does is perfect, but I also never felt like her imperfections affect my perception of her music or my own peace. Who knows, maybe I'm just naive? But I don't feel like this needs to be everything I want it to be. I'm excited just lettinng it happen. (Thursday 13 September 2018; 05:34)
