She looks gorgeous even though she's wearing those stank bodysuits I hate. Lol haven't listened to the album yet. I'm excited to hear it now. I agree about shorter tracklisting albums. Toni Braxton - Sex and Cigarettes (81,483) by this_is_qhm from the Philippines This album (I actually consider it more of an EP due to its length) is the epitome of "short and sweet". It has the signature emotive, classy Toni sound, but the overall vibe is pitched more between Pulse (her last solo effort) and Love, Marriage & Divorce (duet album with Babyface). For an 8-track release, some songs are stronger than others, but I'm really digging Sorry (the beat of which reminds me of You're Making Me High) and My Heart along with the previously released Deadwood and Long As I Live (far and away the best track of the bunch). The title track is good and FOH has a memorable hook, but the last 2 tracks are exactly the type of upbeat songs that she should avoid as they sound the most generic. Still, it's a great, enjoyable album where the pros outweigh the cons. Welcome back, Toni. You've been missed. As for Mariah, I hope she goes for quality over quantity on her upcoming release. We'd all prefer a 10-12 track album filled with hits rather than one with an 80-minute running time bloated with fillers. (Friday 23 March 2018; 09:30)

Where I am from, to keep someone waiting is seen as a grave offense to be avoided at any cost. Mariah constantly keeps people waiting, incl. the public. It is one of the traits of Mariah that I think tells you a lot about where her head is at. No humility. No self awareness. Celine Dion is loved for being a nice person. Mariah is hated for not being a nice person. This is the view in the cold light of day. I would suggest if she dropped the attitude and worked at being likeable, people might change their minds about her and pay attention to her output once again. As it is she will go down in history after her death as being somewhat of a stuck up diva and not for her music, but for being a punchline. Which we all know is going to be an incredible shame because her catalogue deserves more than being relegated to a closing paragraph. Money can buy you many things but it doesn't buy you class. Music sales are dismal (81,465) by RibbonB from USA Good luck to Mimi and any other artist in this economy and state of music sales. Taylor Swift is the only artist in the past two years to sell more than 2 million CDs in the US. She and Ed Sheeran were the only two to sell over one million in 2017. There is a new Billboard article detailing the dismal results. The most recent big success was Adele 25 with over 9 million to date. She is the one rare exception these days and it is not likely to get better. Since 1997, as I recall, industry sales have declined from 700 million to 500 million in 2007 down to a dramatically low 100 million in 2017. (Thursday 22 March 2018; 03:28)

(New York City) I have to agree with Licia when she lost her weight back in 08 it did nothing to improve her instrument, it just allowed her to have better breath control. Unless Mariah is working on vocal exercises and cutting back on her alcohol consumption what is left of her voice that she still will eventually be gone. Hopefully she is taking things seriously considering everything in last three years that has made her and her image take a major hit. If she comes back with the right material, the right attitude, and she takes her performances more seriously she will be fine, it is all up to her. (Thursday 22 March 2018; 00:49)
