Stella and DCP Productions (82,051) by RibbonB from USA Wouldn't it be too rich if DCP Productions came after Stella for those defamatory statements she made about them? I was reading one version of Stella's allegations about Mimi and it's claimed that Mimi was high during the debacle and that it was all her fault. If that were the case why did Stelly loudly defame DCP, claiming they foiled Mimi? Stella has so many lies and fabrications out there that she has zero credibility. She's a loud blustery bag of wind. Re: New album title (82,035) (82,049) by Andrew from UK It's very interesting that the US and UK music markets, and cultures even, are so close and linked, but there are things that never quite translate. Janet Jackson was never big in the UK. "Together Again" and "All For You" were huge. Aside from that, nothing. Even worse for Toni Braxton, she had that one song way back when. That's all she is known for. Mariah was always top 10 in the 90's in the UK without much promotion - if any at all. And in the world of 90's pop and the domination of Britpop and actual pop like the Spice Girls and so forth, this was a feat. It was a decade of one-hit-wonders and the most nonsense of acts, interspersed with great songs, mind. She was always popular, she was always liked in this decade. She sold internationally on the quality of her music and the respect people had for her. I know people say "Oh you just want to live in the 90's". But, what would be so wrong with that? It was amazing. However, Mariah did okay in the Noughties. The ridiculous absurdity has been since 2012ish. The damage done is immeasurable. (Thursday 19 April 2018; 21:49)

Obvious references aside, "Polarity" also signifies diametric opinions on something which is a theme that runs through Mariah's music: "Is hate you but I love you" and so on... an internal debate about the right course of action. And it just sounds cool. Bit I must agree with Eddie, she will surely call it something like "Pretentious self-referential musings of a person who is pretty on the right hand side". Re: New album title (82,033) (82,041) by Edward from USA "My Pretty Pink Princess Unicorn" is a great title, but Mariah would have to bring back that fake unicorn from the "Touch My Body" video to go on promotions with, and as we know, Mariah won't be upstaged. The new album should be titled "Polar Opposites" with the first six songs for "For the Feet" and the other six songs "For the soul", with a bonus track called "Contour (Do It Right) Remix". On an unrelated note I'm a huge X-Men fan and my favorite character Jean Grey was/is the Phoenix. She died saving her teammates only to rise from the ashes reborn (technically she rose from Jamaica Bay). My votes are for Mariah., The Redemption of Mariah/Mimi, or Phoenix. Re: New album title (82,029) (82,035) by B from USA Agreed. janet. doesn't sound dated. Only Mariah's debut (with the exception of Vanishing) and Memoirs sound dated. Both are dated by the production. They both create timeless music and I wish they'd work together. I read an interview in which Toni Braxton talked about collaborating with both Janet and Mariah and how it never happened because of scheduling issues. She ended the interview by saying she still hopes to work with both of them one day. (Thursday 19 April 2018; 15:52)

Seriously though I don't care what she names it as long as the music is good.
