Liron on twitter (74,384) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
Someone asked Liron if Mariah knows about a site called MC Archives, Liron said apparently Mariah knew it a long time ago but now it posts crap about her so she doesn't know the site anymore. Eric you are officially in the JLo, Ariana, Demi Lovato status right now haha. But please who are they kidding a lot of our ideas have been picked up on and someone from her team for sure reads it. Even Stella was aware of the site so if Mariah "let go" of this site a long time back, how would Stella know about it? Things don't add up as usual.

"I hear that LA Reid and Epic Records want to release a new single by Mariah in three weeks. They've got it, and feel that she needs something on the radio to remind people Carey can really sing - not just lip sync," Friedman reports. That quote is from the same man who claimed Mariah just demanded Epic releases I Don't. Don't believe anything he writes. He's a Cindy loyalist and he isn't a fan of Stella. He just keeps contradicting himself.

Does the upcoming album, single with Busta, tour with Lionel, and her residency mean that Mariah's World has been canceled? I hope and pray that it has. Thankfully, the series was only seen by a half a million viewers.

Re: Possible collaborators (74,378) (74,380) by B from USA
I don't neccesarily want Mariah to duet with The Weekend [sic] I want her to wrote [sic] with him. Imagine Mariah singing full voiced over one of his beats. It would be epic.

Re: Possible collaborators (74,377) (74,379) by B from USA
I didn't even consider the hit potential. Mariah needs to enlist these women she influenced for her new album. I hope (and actually think) Mariah has already worked with Beyonce. Where there's smoke there's usually fire. She needs to go back to basics while simultaneously updating her signature sound seamlessly. She should listen to Bruno Mars' Unorthodox Jukebox and 24K Gold and Daydream and Butterfly for inspiration. She's done it before. TEOM and E=MC2 seamlessly updated her signature sound while staying true to her artistry (who is she as an artist). Mariah needs to release an album, coproduced by the best producers in the industry, that highlights her strengths as R&B Pop balladeer and modern day disco diva. I want ballads like My All and Outside and uptempos like Honey and Meterotite.

Re: Possible collaborators (74,367) (74,378) by Licia from USA
Mimi L I agree with most on your list (especially Bruno Mars) with the exception of The Weekend. He sounds like a cat in heat. I like a few of his songs, but I can only take him in small doses lol. I've never listened to Sia so I can't say yay or nay on her. People might not like my list because it's filled with older artist, but I don't care. Lol Babyface, Toni Braxton, Tamia, Mary J. Blige, Faith Evans, Donell Jones, Tamar, (dueling whistle registers) Chante Moore, Lalah Hathaway, Ledisi, Keke Wyatt, and Avant. I'd love for her to write with Jazmine Sullivan and Tank. Jazmine is a beast at writing as well as singing. There's more that I can't think of.

Hahahah I know it would be very weird but dahlin I included her only for the hit potential. Not even a Rihanna fan.

MC-Tanaka (74,375) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
The MC Tanaka split has now been taken up by a lot of sites including People, Entertainment Weekly and others so I think it's more or less confirmed. I was wondering if they decided ahead of time with Bryan how they'll leak the news because it's putting Bryan under a lot of bad light, basically what we've been saying (and being attacked for) all the time, that he's using her and blah blah. I wonder if he would actually stoop so low as to allow that voluntarily just for some money because it would hurt his career (one that isn't really strong either ways), I mean they could have just gone the "mutually decided to separate" route but I don't get why it always has to be so messy. Post Nick Cannon, and since Stella came in, it's like we can't get one headline about Mariah without it being extremely messy and filled with drama. The fact that they announced she'll be releasing new music and launching a new label was also preceded by the TMZ leak of the break up. I hope her next single isn't hyped as the "Tanaka diss" after Cannon diss "Infinity" and James diss "I Don't". I really want a drama free music era where she goes back to being more ambiguous about who the song is about and not leak 10 stories in advance to indirectly tell people that it's aimed at a certain person. Also this "break up" should be a "wake up" for some fans who blindly believe everything they are shown and were just arguing up until yesterday that "Bryan is the greatest thing that happened to Mariah and he makes her smile like no one did", because even if you are to believe their version (which I still think was fake) Bryan clearly wasn't making her so happy according to Stella now with all the "using" rumors and "fighting" rumors. Last but not the least, Tanaka apparently will not be dancing for her in her future shows so that brings the question, who will choreograph her Vegas shows and her Lionel tour now that both Anthony and Bryan are out? Wasn't Bryan her creative director along with being a back up dancer?

Good news (74,374) by Nikki from usa
I agree with whoever else stated we hope this doesn't turn out like Crave or MonarC. Mariah getting her own joint venture for her own label equals an actual team of people employed by Mariah to me. That's great news if she's actually getting a full fledged team together that will be backed up by the label. That could also get her some better priority where promo is concerned. It could be financially fantastic or disastrous. But, either way, it forces MC to put some of her own coin on the line. She won't have time to mess around, but she'll need to be passionate about something if she wants to do something risky. I hope this all works out in the best possible way. I am looking forward to Mariah's mentoring skills with other talent. It'll be nice to see her artistry acknowledged in that respect. As a side note, between Roger claiming she'll be dropped from the label to cite Mariah's new deal is the old one reiterated, proves this guy has no inside track or fact checking ability.

Re: Butterfly MC Records (74,336) (74,373) by B from USA
Isn't it Mariah's lawyers that handle these deals? They (Nash) did the Virgin singing and the buyout, the Island deal and most likely this deal. They probably also did the residency and tour. Stella's job is to make sure the Mariah machine works and that everyone brings their A game something she clearly can't do. All she's good at is boring scripted reality tv and IG stunts.

New era (74,372) by Mara from United States
Speaking of new eras, I wish MC would reemerge looking sexy, yet sophisticated. No more of this 40something trying to remain relevant giving the press and social media people an easy target to focus on saying she is desperate for attention. Mariah has always been such a natural exotic beauty with mixed heritage to die for. She has amazing genes and does not need all the in your face trying to be sexy style she has rocked in 2016. I admit in 2017 she has looked a lot better. I hope she comes back out with a "yeah I'm 40something but I look amazing and I ooze sex appeal without even lifting a finger". Idolriah was a prime example. The classyriah is youthful and beyond beautiful and I don't know what it is about Mariah Carey or how, but when she does the less is more or less boobs, less diamonds, she looks 10 years younger, but she does. I also would love Mariah to come out and not be afraid to cover up or be confident and classy. I think she would be a force to recon with and it would show all the less important that she is a legend that is drop dead gorgeous all on her own that she doesn't need to try so hard that's how beautiful she knows she is. Since Tanaka and Nick and even Packer are all behind her now, move forward, dress in a way all of them are not used to. Don't look to Stellawhatshername to give you fashion guidance because her clothing is repetitive and boring. Come back with a vengeance, jazz it up, be the old Hollywood diva with the class that oozes through your veins, like fine wine you get better with time. Age is nothing to be ashamed of, if you look as good as Mariah Carey at her age, you should be proud of it. Embrace it, now is a chance to change it up a bit. Let these people see what they are all missing. Ok, sorry - too much wine, but MC we know you have been MIA so now is the time to change it up a little. LYM.

Re: New deal (74,335) (74,371) by B from USA
This is a new deal. The former deal didn't include her own vanity label. She had some success with her Crave label in the late 90's with Allure and their hit single All Cried Out. Her The MonarC label's sole release was TEOM, or was it? She's got an ear for music she's just stuck in a rut. Maybe writing for others will help her find her voice again. I think she's been talking to LA and he was brutally honest with her and told her what she needed to hear. She's probably been talking to him since Roger ran the story claiming Epic was considering dropping her. Her dumping Bryan is a sign this floundering ship has found it router.

New album (74,370) by Mara from United States
Will made some good points and possible details about the new deal and label. I hope MC did not just add Stella whatsherface to the record label and therefore she is tied to all future releases on this new label. This is Mariah's hard work and profession here. Stella should not be added just because if that is even what is going on. I will wait to see if more details ever emerge. We do know how she attached herself with All I Want and the Magic Carpet. I'm sorry but Stella has no place with Mariah's music. Again, not sure on the details but that would make sense with what Will mentioned and the singles route by giving Epic the out if they do not agree with what Mariah wants to push as far as anything other than the album she may contractually owe Epic. Which leads me to also be a little skeptical about the announcement of the new album. I precisely remember MC saying on that Facebook live video that she wants to focus on singles and not an album any time soon so forgive me if I am a little hesitant on excitement for a new body of work. I will not set myself up to be let down and that is in no way a stab at MC. I just am craving a complete album that she is ready to put out and not a bunch of "I Don'ts and Infamouses" and I don't know if she has that for us. She said it herself so all of a sudden she will have an album later this year. I am not setting myself up just yet. Better to be happily surprised than let down. All in all, I hope MC is in a good place and wish her positivity with this "break-up". Now if only she would clean house on some others, things might feel more like an era ready for an impact.

Crave Records, to MonarC Ent. to Butterfly MC (74,369) by Matty from Vancouver Canada
I've extremely intrigued by Butterfly MC Records. This is now the third time Mariah's had her own sub-label under a major label. Crave Records was about new talent (Allure, Jakaranda,S.O.A.P.); MonarC only served to deliver Charmbracelet and The Remixes (post Mimi's 2001 breakdown), and now we have Butterfly MC Records. What exactly happened to Crave and MonarC? Can anyone fill me in on details of why these labels folded? What does everyone think the intention of Butterfly MC Records is? So interesting that only a couple short months ago Mariah claimed "no one wants albums anymore", yet today she's announced a new album this year. What's with the about-face? Don't misunderstand me, I'm living for a new album. I thought her statement about no one wanting full albums was nuts.

Article: Mariah Carey's "new deal" is her old deal, reiterated (74,368) by B from USA
I think she do half and half. Half original songs and half covers of classics. She should collaborate with Frank Ocean, Miguel, and The Weekend on the originals and stay away from 80's power ballads. Id love to hear her sing Bring [sic] Over Troubled Water and Amazing Grace. I'd love a studio version of If You Only Knew and Somewhere Over The Rainbow and You And I. That's five covers all she needs to do is call up those dudes and their cowriters and producers and write five original songs.

Possible collaborators (74,367) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
Just putting this out there so that if MC is looking for ideas about who her fans want her to collaborate with, please feel free to add to the list, they usually check this site and UKMix and sometimes pick our ideas. Also the order I'm writing in is just random and not according to preference.
1) Bruno Mars
2) Pharrell
3) Beyoncé
4) Miguel
5) The Chainsmokers (just for a change)
6) Lady Gaga (ya crazy I know)
7) Sia
8) Happy Perez
9) The Weeknd
10) Drake
11) Kanye West
12) Kendrick Lamar
13) Rihanna
14) Zayn

New album (74,366) by B from USA
I hope Mariah's learned from the lackluster responses to You're Mine, Infinity, and I Don't that people are tired of her uninspired midtempo R&B jams. We want songs like Honey, The Roof, Breakdown, Side Effects, I'm That Chick, Meteorite, Make It Look Good, and #Beautiful. Mariah write lyrics like you did during the Daydream and Butterfly eras. No more product placements or slang. Work with Happy Perez and Miguel, they seamlessly updated your signature sound and it scored you your last hit single. Also enlist David Morales, David Foster, and Diane Warren. Start listening to mainstream R&B and Pop radio so you'll know what will click with audiences and what won't. And hire an A-list manager to manage your music career, Stella is a reality show producer with no real credentials. Keep her on to run your joint production company or give it to her as a parting gift.

Good Lord you had me laughing so hard. That would go 7x platinum for sure. TEOM who? We'll probably have a platinum edition re-release with bonus tracks:
1) Empower Your Girls (but throw shade anyways remix)
2) Stink You Up (Stella's unwashed leather jacket dub)

Re: New album (74,355) (74,364) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
My biggest concern is the roll out because usually Mariah's albums are always solid so I'm sure the material will be fine but all her recent roll outs have been so freaking messy and drama filled. However regarding material, I do have a concern now, because just 2 months back she said that she doesn't plan on releasing an album soon and that she will only release singles for now, and just a few weeks later we get this news. I am overjoyed there is an album coming but I don't want it to be a rush. She has some time off now for a short time but she'll be on the road and Vegas again soon so will she really have enough time?

Or Stella "Bollocks-fudgeoff" (I would have used the four lettered F word but it would get censored, so we shall stick to the child friendly version).

Article: Mariah Carey's "new deal" is her old deal, reiterated (74,362) by jaker20 from US
It's true though. She's released nothing in the last 7 years, or at least something non lambs know about without googling it. It's been trainwreck after trainwreck but fans refuse to accept it for what it is. I think she has no more creativity left, it's all gone down to booze and touching her hair. Surprsing because Madonna had a no.1 when she was in her 40s and Cher her bigger song ever in her 50s. MC needs to realize it's not all about Pamela Anderson-like drama and flings with dudes half her age, she has to deliver too. I'm not even expecting songs with high notes, just proper songs whatever they maybe. MC's problems right now is herself.
