Dahlin' Stella's purse of choice is Mariah Carey in the flesh.

Re: Nick (74,661) (74,663) by Licia from USA
Did you forget that she started dating and got engaged while they were still married? Yeah he got someone else pregnant, but they were almost divorced or already divorced. It wasn't like they were reconciling at that point anyway. Both of them had moved on. Some of you like to throw around what he allegedly did wrong, but conveniently give her a pass. They've both done questionable things. Any who, Special K I'm glad you and your husband were able to work things out. I too am happy you both figured things out before signing papers. That's what I had hoped would happen for Nick and Mariah.

Really glad that you and your husband worked things out in the end Special K, and for sharing something so personal, brave of you.

Special k, did your husband run off and have a baby with someone else or possibly cheat in the relationship? It is one thing to seperate for a bit and then reconcile, it is another to try and do it with all that has gone on with what happened in Nick and Mariah's relationship, and a new baby with someone else as well. it's not so cut and dry anymore than them just reconciling and picking up where they left off.

Unique? Buddy, I think there are many people in here who fabricate complete nonsense in order to comfort themselves.

It looks awkward on Mariah but if she wants to wear a bag, I wish she would choose cuter choices. Maybe Stella can help in that department haha.

Social media and public relations (74,658) by B from USA
Mariah needs an A list social media manager and image consultant. Stella and company have tarnished the Mariah Carey brand. Her legacy is untouchable but her brand is what's vulnerable. Mariah Carey would never do a reality series. How did Stella talk her into it? I know she believed and still believes it was a docuseries about the tour but it wasn't. I wonder if she even watched it or was involved with the editing because I can't believe she'd allow some of the footage to be used.

Re: Nick (74,656) (74,657) by B from USA
If they do good for them, it would be in the best interest of the children. However, I don't think Mariah will take him back. Hasn't it been confirmed that he was the one who filed for divorce first? He made some poor decisions when speaking with the media but compared to what Stella has said and done it's nothing.

Re: Nick (74,652) (74,656) by Special K from USA
I wouldn't be surprised if they got back together. They spend alot of time together as a family. Sooner or later those two may realize that is what truly makes them happy. My husband and I split for almost a year and a half. The first year there were alot of hurt feelings but we kept a united front for our boys. As time went by we started to rediscover a true geniune friendship/love that had gotten lost in our marriage along with being parents, always putting our kids first. Thank God we both decided that we needed to fight for our marriage and family before we finalized anything. Mariah and Nick can still do the same thing. Doesn't matter that they are divorced. Now I sure as hell to naw don't have to deal with no baby mammas but I think Mariah would take into consideration that she was engaged to another dude and basically had a contract boyfriend on the side, lol.

Re: Mariah and Nick (74,653) (74,654) by RibbonB from USA
Yeah, I think it is more to do with the kids' coming birthday and the fact that she and Nick are on really good terms again. Stella of course will exploit a moment. Mimi has been in that mode too, but at least this keeps her in a more positive light. I hope in future she will keep the kids only in the public light with their parents not the flavors of the day or moment. If it is more with MC and NC, then I also hope Stella drops off and out. I don't see how any of these people let her and her cameras into their lives and homes like TI and Tiny did and now look at their marriage. Reality TV is a mess and a trap. I don't feel sorry for the hired hand or the "richer man" because both knew what they were walking into, paying or being paid to do and both were "rebounds". Mimi needs to stop playing and really reflect and put the kids first.

Ugh, it's always so much bullshit happening we can't even take a cute moment as innocent right off the bat. We have to work out any ulterior motives. Mariah, this is where you have brought us to. Thanks a lot. Not. I guess it could go either way. It could be innocent, it could be not. I think it's innocent on Nick and the kids' parts. The Wendy interview, I think is just a coincidence. She's going to be on the new season of Wild N' Out and Nick's going to do her show. I guess an eye for an eye situation. The night they went to Chows, Nick worked that day, hence the suit. As far as Mr. Chows, though, it could definitely be Mariah going to the next stage of the cycle. She always wants to be the winner in the public domain. So, this could be where she shows that she's the victor, moving on, and doing fine. Same as with Packer. I'd really like to believe and hope that this is Mariah coming to realize that if she's going to promote her personal life, she might as well stick with the family aspect because she does shine in their family unit and the general public credit her for it versus the embarrassing crap we've had to endure and that she's drawn mockery for.

Re: Nick (74,647) (74,652) by Licia from USA
When they first split I wanted them to work on it so bad and I had hope they would get back together, but now I don't see it for them. Even though Mariah was supposedly almost about to get remarried and she had a 2 week fake boyfriend, I don't think she'll let the fact that Nick had a baby with someone else go. I'm just happy that whatever they are doing is working for the kids and making them happy. Mara I do see what you're saying and I'm hoping that they aren't still playing these childish games to make anyone jealous or trying to seek attention.

Miss Patti Jazz CD (74,651) by RibbonB from USA
Patti has a new CD coming in May and it's all jazz. I wish Mariah would do this sooner than later. Here is Patti's song list. Sigh, I just wish Mariah would put out a CD of jazz standards, or just American Standards. 47 is not too young IMO. Lol. But I will take good new music of her choice though.

Re: Mariah and Nick (74,646) (74,650) by RibbonB from USA
I just read that Nick was hosting some gala in Beverly Hills last night. Maybe they just planned to get together after his event. They have always had family moments since the separation, we just haven't been privy to many of them. But yes Stellar is messy and loves the press, at least it is positive stuff especially for the kids' sake. They always seem comfortable and relaxed when their dad is with them IMO.

Re: Nick (74,647) (74,648) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
Mariah and Nick were at Chows, and guess who else was there? The paparazzi. They took the kids out for dinner and Stella made sure they were photographed to fuel the "they are getting back together" rumors. It's weird that right after the "Bryan jealous of Nick" stories came out, now they are being seen all over. Don't get me wrong, if they decide to get back together, it's nice because they have the kids and they seems to enjoy each other but let them enjoy their time in private, at this rate, Stella will make sure there is a new "MC-Nick" photo every other day. Mariah, you said it yourself that being too public with your relationship never worked for you, so why not enjoy your privacy and keep private moments private? Don't let Stella ruin this relationship too. With Stella, the relationships always start low key,and then "leaked stories of Mariah and so-so not being able to keep their hands off each other" (this was done for both Packer and Tanaka), then "leaked photos" and then "full blown staged paparazzi shots" only to end with "Mariah got played big time" leaked stories. This has happened twice in the last 2 years. Let's not ruin this authentic relationship with that bullshit.

Re: Nick (74,629) (74,647) by RibbonB from USA
Cute picture, thank God the turban was gone at least briefly. Lol. I read on twitter that someone said they spotted Mariah and Nick at Mr. Chow last night. Perhaps they are planning their kids' 6th birthday party extravaganza. Yes Tiny did say on Wendy, that she sees them getting back together. If they can work it out and still love each other, then I wish they would. But even just co-parenting in such a positive way is good for them and the children.

Mariah and Nick (74,646) by Mara from United States
So what exactly is going on here? Now we see Daily Mail pics of them at night with the kids at Mr. Chow. Well known to be photographed. I do think this is Stella and I'm sorry Mariah's idea too. I love MC but she has a bit of a mean streak or spiteful I should say at times. We all do, I'm not innocent but this is blatantly for Bryan. The article with the pictures reminds us all how Bryan was jealous of Nick and M's relationship and now we get this. If it wasn't for this then they could have gone to a low key pizza parlor, instead we have them all dressed up. I don't know anymore. Even in the write up it states a "Mariah insider" we know who mentions how Mariah was sick of footing the bill on Tanaka. While all in Mariah's World she is the one telling him she will get him this jacket, that shirt. So it's nothing she hasn't created. I'm not defending Tanaka man but come on. It's not lie she didn't know he would need funding. Especially if he isn't out there working, but at your side 24/7. Those were never Mariah's words in the media with break ups before. She was always mum, like they never happened. Now we get kiss and tell info like some teenager. What ever happened to the famous statement "decided to go separate ways" or amicably split. Why the Jerry Springer like dirty laundry stories? Now the in your face Nick pictures made for Tanaka? Mariah is coming off just as petty as Stella. And now Nick on Wendy Williams for a whole hour? I don't see Nick getting back with Mariah especially if Stellla is living in the house. If that happens I would gladly trade smelly leather coat witchy woman for Turban Nick.

Re: On second thoughts (74,643) (74,645) by B from USA
I was in no way condoning Stella or trying to justify her as a manager by bringing up how many views the video has. Its views continue to increase and I don't know why. I tried to justify why in my last post but that just doesn't seem like enough when she's released far better songs and videos that have half of the amount of views I Don't has. #Beautiful only had like 34 million last time I checked and it was a hit.

Re: On second thoughts (74,588) (74,634) (74,644) by B from USA
I don't think actual fans are the ones watching. It's mostly men or people who are fans of Mr. Jones' who like that Mariah paid homage to him. I was watching Almost Home and thinking how does this video have less than 8 million views then I Don't came on and it has somehow amassed 17 million views.

Re: On second thoughts (74,634) (74,643) by MusicfanJ from Germany
I don't care how many "views" the "I Don't" video gets. I prefer every other video. Quality is more worth then what kids click in the internet, I mean Justin Bieber and Co. can have 100 million clicks but who's taking them serious? With Stella she just doesn't fit into MC's professional singer career. If Stella would produce another "series" for Paris Hilton, that would be a perfect partnership. Lol. But Mariah Carey isn't a reality tv star. That Stella is raising her kids alone doesn't excuse all the fake publicity stunts. If she was just a friend in Mariah's private life, it would be strange enough but ok. But I don't like her influence that she seems to have about Mariah. And the cheapening of Mariah's image is really hurtful for all the longtime fans. Since she's there, everything seems like a circus show and not a good one. I don't need this form of entertainment. So now I'm gonna watch the Butterfly tour. That's entertainment with a super sweet, shining Mariah.

I tatally [sic] agree with you. I love your expression "she slayed weirdly". It totally captures what I feel about this performance. I think she wanted to go completely live and carefree. She gives one of those Jimmy Fallon The Art Of Letting Go performance but her team and/or the festival staff played it safe and pressed the studio vocals button. She was pissed. She gave her all.

Only thing I love from that concert was her VOL performance, yeah she was drunk but for me she slayed that "weirdly", lol I don't know but I like it. She was carefree so did her voice that it's very different from her 2015 Vegas and 2016 VOL performances.

Re: Mariah in Jamaïca (74,636) (74,640) by Edouard from France
Yes I'm talking about this concert. I'm not saying it is good. I'm saying I love it. There's a difference here I hope you will understand. The lypsyncing part is not a fail per say. I believe she didn't want to lipsync at all. Why would she fail at that? What I mean, and I thought it was clear enough in my previous post, is that I like the chances she took and the adlibs she did, and the changes in terms of melody (like in WBT for instance) she gave us. She wasn't in her right mind. You can tell she's bothered by something. Clearly. But her presence is everything here IMO. I would love for her to take those same liberties with her songs in future performances. Love ABMBB, VOL. It's not a good concert, but it's experimental in a way and very raw. Very Mary J Blige in a way, even vocally. This is Mariah, the real Mariah, not the perfect and bland pop act.
