Re: New music (71,517) (71,537) by May from Denmark
All I'm hoping for is that we don't get another Triumphant not so triumphant. I thought she was going to move on from releasing singles until having a baked album. How many singles were released until MIAM and then the fall? This better kill it. Can't deny I'm anxious.

Re: Barbie fan is who caused meet and greet drama (71,523) (71,536) by May from Denmark
I always wanted to know and understand better about it. I only got that one fan ruined it for all and that was it, some blamed the fan as being a real jackass and others blamed Stella. Is there a video of the incident?

Re: MW episode 7 : Mimi L review (71,527) (71,535) by May from Denmark
I really enjoy the parts that are real backstage, like the make up moments, the costumes choices, I like seeing Mariah practicing the dance steps, also seeing the dancers coming up with the choreos. I don't dislike when something needs to be solved and there is this small real drama going on because it is what makes part of touring, it's even fun to see Mariah in the bus with the crew. But everything else is either boring or cringe worthy. There is zero music talk, the show started off ok but after the Molly thing which was very staged it entered the soap opera beef. People loved the Molly moments until Stella went ravage b***h mode and everyone disliked it, somehow it seems they wanted to create a new scenario to wash the dirtiness but went bizarro mondo. The whole "I love you" and "oh baby you are amazing" exchange of forced compliments between Packer and Mariah was so weird and then Tanaka looking like a sad puppy, I wasn't sure what I was watching anymore. And Mariah flirting, touching and sitting on Tanaka's lap after just having talked about James didn't give her a good light, they should have edited that part. I was like "really Mariah, you are teasing a man and giving him a boner on purpose after you just put on the wedding dress for another man", I don't know what to think anymore except what has that got to do with music and the tour. It's all sided drama that is pointless and looks bad and makes her look bad. I like Stella at times and other times I wished I could strangle her, talk about love-hate haha. The show while fun at times didn't turn to be what I was hoping for.

VOL for me. Both are great songs, but I tend to listen to VOL more than WBT. I have to be in a certain mood to listen to WBT a lot.

Here is the aftermath of Klum and her "help", see if any of that sounds familiar. The designated babysitter mess always makes my stomach turn. Imagine if M. stayed with Packer and Nick got with is AGT mate Heidi, they could have all lived together as one big dysfunctional family with almost 20 kids between them all. Alt-facts are the new order in politics and Hollyweird.

I never wanted to respond to the immaturity and obvious obsessiveness, but let me tell you if you don't know what happened or what the details were don't try to come for me. Instead of making up a scenario of why you think something happened, why don't you ask?

Re: MW episode 7 : Mimi L review (71,526) (71,531) by RibbonB from USA
I will do better, I was able to catch the last 15 minutes. Hard to stomach all except the party stuff with Dem Babies. On the bus, did I hear Mariah say "I have to be a dumbass and I hire you (the help) to be a dumbass with me?" Lol that rings true. What a pitiful display. She is turning into Mariah Klum. Miss Heidi promoted her bodyguard to bedguard and au pair, and we see how that ended. Tanaka is younger and thirstier, so I see a more tempestuous end.

Re: Mariah's world (71,529) (71,530) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
When announcing the show, they made it sound like they'll show a different side of Mariah, the side the lambs knew but the GP don't. Like how Mariah isn't really a big diva and that's an act and behind the scenes she's actually a brilliant songwriter and extraordinary singer and that she's not a ditzy diva who's only materialistic but then they waste it by pouring fuel over what the public already thinks about Mariah. I get that since the show is on E. they might have to add some scripted stuff for fun, but that shouldn't have covered 98% of the whole show with only 2% real stuff. First of all this should have been on HBO and it should have been a proper documentary but Stella doesn't have the reach or the brains. Also they are trying to cater to her so called core audience which is supposedly 12 year olds according to what Stella said multiple times. All in all with some of the stuff that we've already seen in the past few years, I wouldn't be surprised if she goes down Madonna route soon. It's sad that such a classy and mysterious super star has become this over exposed celebrity with so many cringe worth moments that seem to show that she is almost sabotaging her own career and image at this point.

Mariah's world (71,529) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
The part of this reality show that is authentic and heartfelt are the moments with Roc and Roe, because that is where I see the real and genuine Mariah. Everything else about this show is a cut and paste mess that comes off very phony and unnecessary. Honestly this entire project could have been a great branding opportunity if it was done properly. Unfortunately Mariah and Stella took this great opportunity and turned it into a circus and a boring one at that. Hello Mariah darling, it's time to get out of Mariah's world and it is time to come back to planet earth before it's too late.

Re: MW episode 7 : Mimi L review (71,524) (71,527) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
You know I was just thinking about it today that when M announced the show, she said it'll be like a "behind the scenes" of what goes on while they try to put on a show with some bits of her personal life, but anything related to the show is just always limited to strictly 3 minutes of the total duration. The rest is filled with all these scripted drama, most of which doesn't even include Mariah. The only tour stuff we see is Mariah just walking to stage in the silver bodysuit, they've shown that scene so many times. I also don't get what they think will come out of this whole crappy Tanaka story line. It makes MC look bad. Stella out there is making herself look nice by pretending that she is not down with these. But please who is she kidding?

Re: MW episode 7 : Mimi L review (71,522) (71,526) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
The ending of this week's episode was so cringe worthy, I think I'll get a permanent wrinkle next week with the beach scene. Honestly Ribbon B please watch the last 5 minutes (the bus scene) of this week's episode and give me your opinion. I get being flirty, but to actually rub up against this other man when you're engaged and to allow him to grope and grab at you is just so disturbing and then as usual she sits on his lap and gives a sly look at the camera.

Re: MW episode 7 : Mimi L review (71,519) (71,524) by Licia from USA
I keep reading these reviews thinking I'll actually see something about the actual tour and the process behind the music. I keep hoping they are saving the best for last, but nope. Still tomfoolery and shenanigans (I'm trying not to curse lol). Are they really trying to make it seem as if she stopped the wedding and not him? Why is Mariah ok with being portrayed as a two timer? I can't even know what to say. Lol.

Barbie fan is who caused meet and greet drama (71,523) by Sheila from United States
The barbie fan is the one who caused Mariah to cancel all meet and greets due to him fighting with her security and having to remove him from the meet and greets. Instagram is dragging him, sad but true.

Well they can call the next season *gag*, Alternate Facts or Mariah's Alt Universe. Because you know the ratings have been "Stellar" and they will probably do another just for spite. Lol. Seems they've been posting the same teaser for weeks. I thought Nick was going to be on weeks ago on the portion of the episode that I caught. Tonight I caught The Young Pope. It is scripted and messy, but with some cultural context and good actors.

Preview for next episode (71,520) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
This is the preview for the next episode. A little more is shown after today's episode and when Bryan asks if M will marry "this guy", Mariah says "I don't even know anymore." Also they show scenes of M getting a piggy back ride from Tanaka on the beach and those cringe worthy beach scenes. Nick will be here next episode too so at least we'll have one normal scene.

MW episode 7 : Mimi L review (71,519) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
1) Mariah's Clash Magazine photoshoot behind the scenes. They are teasing Anthony by calling him the "king of opinions". Anthony says yes he is not a "yes man".
2) M is going through fan mail when Stella comes and asks why James left abruptly. M says she doesn't know and says she wishes she had more quality time to give James but she didn't (well to be honest, she would have had she told her entourage to go away for a while).
4) Tanaka can't continue for the rest of the tour because he needs to be on bed rest for 4 weeks. Stella talks about how she usually doesn't have feelings because she's "desensitized" but she feels bad for Tanaka.
5) Continuation of Mary Ann and Anthony drama. Stella who was previously throwing daggers for stares at Anthony for not wanting to share the bus with Mary Ann's kids is now team Anthony talking about how fights happen between family members and all. Stella's hypocrisy also shines through when she talks about it's not necessary they'll all have to like each other all the time, when she's the first one to fire people she doesn't get with.
6) Drama-naka talking about how he is confused about M and his feelings and their crazy connection. He is pretty upset and thinks he should go home (yes, finally a good decision but we all know that doesn't happen).
7) M is meeting fans, the guy who gave her the Barbie is also there. Stella comes and tells M that Tanaka is planning on leaving, that's when they decide to bring him on stage and straddle him. The whole scene is so cringe worthy, like girl, you were just trying on your wedding dress and now you are giving this dude a lap dance, especially after she's been told repeatedly that he has "feelings" for her. M says she doesn't want Tanaka to leave and Tanaka also decides to stay.
8) Mary Ann and Anthony talk things out, it was a cute moment, I'll admit. I understand now why Mary Ann overreacted at that moment.
9) They are on their way to have some weed cakes. So they're all pretty high. Bad acting of Mariah playing a "prank" on the dancer. Clearly the whole thing is an act.
10) They're in Cape Town. It's the birthday of the twins, I can already see Mishka drinking champagne. The twins are brought out on stage. Mariah sings ABMB for them, it's a cute scene. I love seeing these moments between M and the kids. They're always so cute.
11) Ok the last scene on the bus was too much, with Mariah falling all over Tanaka and dancing with Tanaka grabbing and groping at Mariah and kissing her arms and what not. That scene wasn't even necessary for the "docu-series".

Vítor Henrique, I was just messing with "Ribbon with a bow on it" in regard to his answer to your post. As you could see by his answer to me, he got that. And I expected that response, it was my intention to get a reaction just for fun.

Replying Edward is something I could. But I don't think I should. You know, we love everybody. Now then, let it be known that I knew what "on repeat" meant as well. I just didn't know why everyone was jabbering about "Charmbracelet" at length, neither why they were shooting the breeze alongside the words "on repeat". Thank you, Ribbon for kindly and readily answering me.

Re: Videography (71,511) (71,514) by Martyn from England, UK
I absolutely love "Almost Home", it's probably in my top 15 Mariah songs. I seem to remember her saying in an interview that she either didn't like it or didn't fully connect with it or something? It's a shame, because it was quite a fresh sound for her, and a few of my non-Mariah fan friends have taken quite a liking to it. It has more mass appeal than her Mariah-by-numbers tracks, and it was a fresh sound for her. I'd love for her next album to have a few more poppy uptempos.

I love Almost Home, I was listening to that song again a couple weeks back after a while and thought wow this should have been number one. It stands out and I think she sounds amazing. One of her best songs
