Re: Wow some post here (66,154) (66,213) by Terna from Nigeria
Learn to ignore them or better yet skip their posts altogether you don't have to read their "opinions" when you know it's just going to be yet another bout of hate and negativity, just skip it. I know I do. There are certain gremlins on here who's posts I never read. They know themselves. Don't feed the them let them starve. (Obsessed anyone?) Let them cosign each other's hate and negativity. Lol.

I agree. Most people here mean well and it's coming from a good place though because we all want to see her succeed again and be received well by the general public but it does get too much at times. I remember a while ago it was mentioned how the fans' money had made her and they are not being repaid well which is ridiculous to me - she never held a gun to your head and asked you to buy her records and to love her. Yes she's changed and she probably will change some more by the time she's through - it is what it is. Constantly bashing her every move won't bring the 90s back. She can dress however she wants but her management and roll outs need to be on point.

5 Whitney songs that Mariah would slay (66,210) by this_is_qhm from the Philippines
It's been a while since lists have been posted here. While waiting for music-related news from Mariah, here's a list of 5 songs (which unintentionally happen to be all slow jams that are mostly non-singles) from Mariah's good friend Whitney which I think our girl would also do justice to and I wish she could consider doing as a tribute in the future:
5. Until You Come Back - This will suit Mariah's current voice well, as it was also recorded by Whit at a time when her voice started to show signs of wear and tear as well.
4. After We Make Love - Mariah's breathy coo would be perfect for this track.
3. For The Love Of You - We all know by know that Mariah does well with breezy, laid back songs like these.
2. You Give Good Love - Everything about this just screams Mariah - the melody, the smooth groove, and the sexy overall sound.
1. Just The Lonely Talking Again - Mariah's vocal tone and delivery will surely complement this smooth, elegant number.
Honorable mention: Saving All My Love For You - I have no doubt that Mariah will do her own thing with this, but the song is one of Whitney's signature songs that it would be difficult to ignore its popular association with her. What are yours?

Anthony Burrell (66,209) by G.G. from USA
Isn't Anthony the guy who went on an Instagram rant, calling Stella an evil witch, or something to that effect? Why would he go back into that situation if he honestly feels that way? Maybe Stella ia losing some of her influence in Mariah's life. Hopefully.

Darren, don't be surprised. What can you expect from somebody who's an active member of Westboro Baptist Church. YouTube it if you don't know about it, you'll see Sheila spreading her hate there.

Annabelle (66,177) (66,188) (66,207) by Edward from USA
Annabelle is an evil porcelain doll that first appeared in the movie "The Conjuring". She was so evil that she got her very own movie called "Annabelle". Rumor has it that the doll was a regular poster on this messageboard. She was around for a year or so, then during a Full Moon, some regular posters here got together and cast a spell chasing her away. Rumor has it she was vanished to a place called Dreamville or something like, I don't really know. She was supposed to have a baby with not beginning and without an end. Don't ask me, I don't know what that means.

Re: Mariah Carey cancels Meet & Greet again (66,174) (66,206) by Marissa from USA
Is this that superfan who does a meet and greet with Mariah at least once a month? Whoever that person is, either he has the hookup or he has a shitload of disposable income.

Mariah the prank calling queen (66,205) by JAXGH from United States
Lmfao who else is honestly amazed at Mariah's prank calling skills? She actually revealed in a 1998 interview she would prank call these girls (that were really mean to her when she was little) for years, to get back at them and when they finally figured out it was her, they called the police and turned her in lol. There was also a radio interview with Nick where she called in as Debbie from Long Island talking about porn like "real hardcore stuff" and how her and her husband have a very good time watching it. Just shows she's always been into acting and knows she's good at it. And really utilize it to mess with people hahaha. Even the first time I watched the Bianca interview when I was younger, I had no freaking idea it was Mariah. I actually can't wait for the Pamela prank call lmao. See guys these are the sides of Mariah I'm excited about that we don't really get to see much. I feel like her huge personality really was stifled in the 90s and she was burned in Glitter so that kind of bruised her. I'm glad she has a platform to showcase the real her and more of her hidden talent. Also in a way, I feel like she really is meant to make people laugh. Reality-esque type of things. Exciting.

I'm sad about Mary and her divorce. I thought they would be able to work it out. I'm always about trying to make it work rather than just giving up. It's good to see her working through it though. Mary has always been a fighter.

Re: Wow some post here (66,199) (66,201) by Edouard from France
Hey Mirage, love your reply. Thank you for clarifying. So there are still some fans out there. We just don't feel the need to talk nonsense all the time. Some people have no life. Totally agree with you, it's one thing to criticize, it's another to hate and judge. No one owns Mariah but herself. I don't agree with everything she does, how she sometimes present herself. But the thing is that I don't need to evaluate, scrutinize or care so much. I don't need to live vicariously through her. What I keep with me, as a fan, is the music and the teachings that go with it, like self confidence, strengh, self-esteem, respect for others and for yourself, compassion, the right to cry, dream, laugh and be stupid too.

Yes, preach Mirage. I totally agree, a site for angry gays and mean lambs to hate on poor Mariah. Sad but true.

Re: Wow some post here (66,154) (66,199) by Mirage_Nunez from America
That's because this really isn't a fan site anymore Edouard. It's a place where people who once upon a time loved Mariah now come to vent their hatred and distain for her. Whenever I do decide to peep on this board I'm always repulsed, grossed out, and disgusted in the way the former fans speak of Mariah (certainly worse than people who never like her). But as the saying goes "it's a thin line between love and hate" and from my person observation former fans that turn on her are the worse haters. Everything she does that's supposedly "bad" or "trashy" is blown way out to epic proportions and over exaggerated. It's one thing to give constructive criticism and be honest in a respectable manner, but what's going on here is completely something else. The best way to describe it is straight up sickening, but hey this is their sanctuary now and people like us who still have regards, respect, and unconditional love for Mariah don't fit in here anymore. So I say let them have their fun and get their absolute life bashing Mariah and prophesying doom on her future.

Aw thank you Mimi L. Your words are appreciated as well. I'd love for Mariah to continue her songs with inspirational messages. She needs an empowering hit. I'm not sure if you also checked out my other videos I made posted on my YouTube page. I've worked on 3 videos in total and all 3 songs have a message. Hope you enjoy them as well.

Celine (66,197) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
I never really watched a lot of Celine interviews before (I think she has a beautiful voice though). But recently I came across some new ones that she has been doing lately and she is hilarious. Love the sense of humor. I love that she did "Wheels of Musical Impressions" and attempted to twerk to "Work". Now she did a segment on Ellen where she puts her ballad spin on some rap songs and it's just so much fun to watch. I'd love for Mariah to do such skits and just let loose and show off her voice.

MJB (66,196) by RibbonB from USA
Wow, Mary J. Blige will be working with Dianne Warren on her next CD and they did the View's new theme song together. MJB will also have a role on How To Get Away With Murder this fall. Nice to see her moving forward doing positive things even in the midst of her own divorce announcement. She is also going on tour with Maxwell. Mariah has her own, sometimes haphazard way of doing things. Ultimately, I just hope Mariah will get some good results and the wrong stuff will safely fall away. I just wish M. didn't seem to have such extended and sometimes clumsy "rollouts".

Re: Creative Director (66,192) (66,195) by RibbonB from USA
Stellar, Bran Flake and DJ Snufalupagus have all been more low key for the past couple of months. Collectively, they made M. look most messy IMO. This whole era just seems about making noise and seeing what gets the most reaction good and bad, IMO. Stellar allegedly got her boobs done, Flaky broke his leg and JD is back in the forefront. Who knows what the final result will be. Lol.

Mariah and Ryan Tedder would be awesome. He has such a talent for melodies. They could create a number one and what is even more important a song to remember.

Re: World premiere (66,171) (66,193) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
I don't know how I missed seeing this post, great job. I love the social message. I actually really like the song "Imperfect" and I wish it got an official release. My hope for Mariah is to have another uplifting song with a social message addressing some of the key problems (or a particular problem) of the society now. Anyways, enough about her, back to your video, love your idea and enjoyed the video. Keep doing more.

About Bryan, I wonder what happened. Maybe he wasn't the CD this leg because Bryan is getting ready to work on the SSFT shows? I hope they didn't have a bad end because under Bryan's direction, the show was more energetic.

Re: Am I too late? (66,167) (66,190) by RibbonB from USA
Fan favorite is a stretch B. Lol. I bought it and like a lot of MIAM, but I'm still upset about the millions of her fans who did not even pick it up then and still haven't. She is going to have to be a lot less specific and more universal in her song appeal in order to get her next music on radio and out to the general public next go around. Unless of course she is just putting out music for the die hard fans and the music thieves who listen and critique without paying.

I appreciate the love and compliment, Mara. I do agree with you, which is why I barely had shots of her in the video. I wanted to tell a story and it was really hard to find recent clips of her in other videos that would fit the topic. Thank you once again.
