She looks like a lady of the night and those men are waiting for their turn. I'm sorry but it looks cheap and wreaks of desperation. I mean, is that what they do in Sweden Mariah? Not cute. Not sexy. Just not. Ugh, why?

I'm glad that most are now seeing what I have seen since the beginning of this partnership with Stella. One of the reasons that I stayed away for a little while is my dislike of Stella and where she's taking Mariah. You know the old saying "If you don't have anything nice to say then don't say anything at all." That's where I am with her right now. I won't take away from the fact that she has brought in alot of revenue for Mariah, but I feel that Mariah is doing things now that she's never had to do before (pimiping out her relationship, promoting and selling everything, this docu reality series, etc). I've only been a fan because of the music. Although I understand her need to have side ventures, I'd like more music and right now that's not her or Stella's focus. Isn't that what she's known for? For me the real test will be if we get any new music and how it will be handled. Will new music get the same amount of promotion and energy as the side deals and reality series are? I agree with Marissa about that picture. I usually don't focus on things like this when it comes to Mariah, but I'm not getting the point of this picture and why it needed to be posted. I won't even get into this supposed statement about her staff because I really don't have anything good to say about that. Lol.

No you are right, it's definitely damage control on Stella's part. Especially after Wendy Williams of all people tells Mariah through the T.V that Stella isn't good for her. Maybe Mariah had a "conversation" with her after that story aired. Instead of an article she should just take in the feedback and make changes in her behavior. I don't like how she's been acting one bit either, I'm just appreciative of her part in Mariah's resurgence. It doesn't mean I'm not watching her and giving her the side eye, she doesn't seem trustworthy. This is all just my assumption.

Ugh yes, with her being engaged to someone else, this picture is a little too risque but hey how can you question why Stella allowed it when Stella is probably there yelling "Yass queen, give me more of the booty Mimi, eternal love light and laughter. Hashtag empower women, hashtag empower your girls, hashtag fun fearless women, hashtag f**k the haters." Not saying that Mariah hasn't posted scandalous pictures before, but it was mainly for Nick (which was still uncomfortable because girl you do know there are private ways of sending them instead of "@-ing your boo on twitter". But this is a little well, risque.

Excellent points RibbonB, those are some of the things I meant to write in my last post, but I posted in a rush and forgot. You are right, Mariah has always been so discreet about her choices, be it professional or personal. We never heard anything about why JD, and Randy were dropped, yes there were rumors, but straight quotes from Mariah or her reps? Never. Doing this is basically calling more trouble (like Stella did by calling out tabloids). This opens the door for more allegations about mistreatment and all from these dismissed staff members and unnecessary law suits. I also noticed how Stella has this habit of making sure her name is mentioned in everything Mariah does. The Style magazine article mentioned her, this TMZ story has her name. She is everywhere. Never in my life have I seen a manager be such an attention seeker. Many managers have been known to be a pain, but they are never on the forefront, trying to get a piece of the spotlight. Also why do we give so much credit to Stella, don't get me wrong but I don't see Stella on stage there killing it at every show in the Euro tour. Unless of course, it's Stella singing and Mariah lip syncing.

Cleaning house (60,993)

I think this is a great sign. Mariah is trying something new, and trying to get something "big" (all caps) to really happen here. If these people have been around all these years, and have not made much of a difference, something needs to change. Mariah is entering a whole new era, she is past the golden goddess phase, and has moved on to the "diamond queen" phase (work with me here, not sure what to call it). Anyway I find it very exciting. When you shake things up, great things can happen. This could be the beginning of something huge.

Behind the scenes (60,992)
by Liz Archer from Sweden

Honestly, we don't know what is going on behind the scene. Mariah has had a few unsuccessful years and maybe those "people" she fired was aiding in that failure. We don't know. All I know is that it has gone pretty well for Mariah lately. Las Vegas was a hit, and this tour has been an excellent idea. Her voice has improved immensely, she is back to shape. She is more comfortable on the stage once again. Her old fans (and maybe some new ones) gets to see her sing like she used to and I guess the idea of this documentary is to try to gain some new fans or bring back some go the old. It's how media today works, so she is trying to gain some momentum so people don't forget her. If she releases an album soon I think it could work, but honestly it depends on her new manager and what she does next. She is getting married soon (I guess) and if she decided to be a stay-home mom it can affect her album releases. She need to really promote her new work and if she doesn't it could fail, which seem to be happening before. And of course the material has to be good. Honestly I hope she doesn't stop the Las Vegas thing, I hope to see her there. Trying to save for it, but another tour wouldn't be that bad. It seem very successful and I wish I had the opportunity to see it, but not this time. I mean, sure. I am not a big fan of Stella and how she does certain things (her daughter, her behaviour to media), but if she can get Mariah the "it girl" again and have a successful album release, because that is what I guess fans want, to hear new music and wish her more success, then fine. So I guess we just have to wait and see. Ps. My thoughts might be scambled, it's late.

Please people this lady needs to go. She is all in it for the money and her self interests. Mariah is a means to her ends. Trust any success Mariah has achieved she could have had it without miss Stella. What she doesn't need is a reality show, that is all for Stella. So whether Mariah approved Stella's quotes to TMZ of all places, or whether she is being blackmailed like some other tabloid suggested, Stella is bad news and self serving. The biggest kicker is Stella to say, or attribute any comments to Mariah which disparage prior employees is unprofessional, unethical and leaves Mariah subject to lawsuits. Forget about ego, what about professionalism and being discreet, which Mariah has been for her entire career. Stella sucks and has been planting stories left and right in the Daily Mail and now feeding TMZ. Girl bye. MIAM flopped for many reasons, mainly it wasn't that great, and it was a bit too personal and specific and premature. The divorce ain't even final yet. I'll stop there.

That picture needs to go ASAP. This picture look for her ass to be the focus of the photo and a man (regardless of whether he's a dancer or whatever) hugged up on her when she's engaged. This is some Kardashian trash and I wouldn't be surprised if you-know-who was the one who took the photo. I actually think this is worse than the Valentine's Day Nick photo, even though that should have been kept private as well. Legends don't need to do this. Press delete. I'm ready to meet Stella outside at this point. If you run your client's Instagram, why would you let this happen?

I have no doubts that Mariah approved it, because well if she didn't Stella would be fired immediately, but my main problem is that was this statement even required? Many celebrities change their whole teams to start afresh. No one has been questioned. Mariah has not been questioned either, it was just Stella who whose reputation was being dragged (and to some point she brought it on herself by talking trash back to tabloids and insulting Mariah's fans). So why did Mariah need to "make" this statement? This is such a random reason to go on record to TMZ. It makes absolutely zero sense to me.

TMZ quote / Stella (60,986)
by 123 from USA
| |
|
|
I do believe Stella wrote the quotes but I also believe Mariah's people are usually the ones doing the writing when a quote is released from her camp, it's just more obvious with Stella as she... um... lacks in that area. I do believe Mariah approved those statements. I think we need to stop believing that Mariah is so aloof that she has no idea what's going on or that people believe Stella is using her as a come up. The statement is true that since Stella has come in the picture she has made more money. The Vegas Shows, the Hallmark deal, The Beacon Theatre, and now the European tour in stadiums. When was the last time Mariah filled a stadium/arena in the UK? I understand everyone's concern as they are just commenting on what is being presented on social media and the press, but Mariah may look like Malibu Barbie, but the reality is she is a shrewd business woman. Stella will not ruin Mariah's career, nor will she be able to get one over on Mariah. Lets not forget Mariah is quick to give anyone their walking papers. Benny got the boot once E=MC2 lost its steam. Chris Lightly came and went after the unsuccessful Memoirs era, Randy, a friend and co-worker since 1990 was not spared after the Idol failure, Jermaine got the boot after the messy MIAM era and Kevn Lyles came and went after the Butterfly sugar water idea never took off. Mariah always gives the manager one project or if they are lucky, an era. If there is no success, they get the heave ho, regardless of the relationship, as it's just business. If Stella gets to be at the helm of a new album release and it fails, best believe she will get the heave ho. Mariah is tired of carrying people financially, she needs a team that's going to help her make money. As long as there is success, Mariah may put up with some of Stella's antics.

This statement addresses the concerns we've voiced and gives credence to the believe that Mariah or a member of her team is either a member on this message board or is aware of it and monitors it. Did Mariah write that statement? No. It reeks of a cheap Chanel #5 knockoff, how I assume Stella smells, lol. She knows she crossed the line when she insulted Mariah's lambs.

I totally agree. I find it odd when I read the article, like I have this feeling that that is not Mariah at all. With this Stella drama, I bet she wrote it herself or whatever to make it like Mariah is defending her. And yes, if Mariah will make a public statement right now, it's better and more timely if the issue is all about her siblings. Oh Stella please, don't show your self-centered attitude towards your client, it's very cheap and obvious. So much opposite with this "My new team, including manager Stella Bulochnikov are the top of the line in the entertainment business" which you probably wrote like what you did with that "glamorous manager" so called statement of Mariah to you. Lambs are watching you. Just want to leave this here to shed some "love, laughter and light".

I found it a little off too. But I doubt such a statement would be released without Mariah's approval. Maybe this was Mariah's way of addressing the lambily's concerns that Stella is a witch. I can't deny the woman's help in Mariah's silent comeback. My only problem is her (and her family's) apparent need to be at the forefront. If Mariah says everything is under control then I'll take her word for it. In a way, people pointing fingers at Stella as the b**ch is diluting Mariah's reputation as a diva. I'm happy about the revamping of her team. We've all been complaining about bad management for a long time now. Let's just hope Stella actually cares about Mariah's career.

Weird quotes (60,978)
by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
| |
|
|
So apparently Mariah gave a statement to TMZ saying quote "I dismissed a majority of my team because I discovered that they didn't have my best interests at heart. My new team, including manager Stella Bulochnikov are the top of the line in the entertainment business and more importantly in my life and I am now much more financially successful and more organized than in the past." Highlighting Stella and and how important she is in her life. The article goes on to say that she says she's loving shooting her musical documentary right now while touring Europe, and adds "My fiancé James Packer just came to visit me in Denmark. And he had no problem being on camera for the show with me and we had a great time." This sounds a little off to me because in the recent interview Mariah herself talks about how she does not enjoy having cameras around everywhere but is doing it only for the fans and also that James will likely not be featured because he is not into these. So for Mariah to suddenly be so defensive about Stella and the reality show (which was Stella's idea) is a little off. Two things about Mariah are making headlines currently (apart from her tour reviews). One is her brother and sister making allegations and two is articles attacking Stella (not even Mariah). So if Mariah had to make a statement (which she didn't have to make at all) she could have made one about the more serious matter which is Morgan and Alison's attempt at defaming her. Why instead did she find it necessary to give an explanation about her staff members leaving, especially when none of the articles said they left because of Mariah, but instead the articles praised Mariah and said the staff left because of Stella? Mariah didn't even need to give an explanation. This is so weird. It's suddenly more important to defend her manager's reputation than her own. Don't get me wrong, I don't think Mariah needs to talk about Morgan at all, that's her personal business, but I find it weird she is suddenly getting defensive about her manager. Are these quotes even from her or did Stella just write it like she wrote "Mariah's message" to her fans in Brussels.

MIAM (60,975)

I've been noticing a lot of suggestions on what producers Mimi should work with on her next opus. While some say ditch her main go to producers I would be careful there because her main producers JD and Big Jim did great work on her last album. If anyone was dead weight it was Dark Child. Cry was a very strong opener, YDKWTD was amazing and a hit that was left behind. Also MILG was a bop as well. If anything I would like to see Mimi write more by herself next go round like she used to. Also I would not want new collaborators and classic Mimi collaborators so this album can be a mix of old and new. Btw MIAM was a great body of work, it just did not get much attention from Mimi or DJ because of everything that was happening at the time in Mimi's personal life.
