Weird quotes (60,978) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
So apparently Mariah gave a statement to TMZ saying quote "I dismissed a majority of my team because I discovered that they didn't have my best interests at heart. My new team, including manager Stella Bulochnikov are the top of the line in the entertainment business and more importantly in my life and I am now much more financially successful and more organized than in the past." Highlighting Stella and and how important she is in her life. The article goes on to say that she says she's loving shooting her musical documentary right now while touring Europe, and adds "My fiancé James Packer just came to visit me in Denmark. And he had no problem being on camera for the show with me and we had a great time." This sounds a little off to me because in the recent interview Mariah herself talks about how she does not enjoy having cameras around everywhere but is doing it only for the fans and also that James will likely not be featured because he is not into these. So for Mariah to suddenly be so defensive about Stella and the reality show (which was Stella's idea) is a little off. Two things about Mariah are making headlines currently (apart from her tour reviews). One is her brother and sister making allegations and two is articles attacking Stella (not even Mariah). So if Mariah had to make a statement (which she didn't have to make at all) she could have made one about the more serious matter which is Morgan and Alison's attempt at defaming her. Why instead did she find it necessary to give an explanation about her staff members leaving, especially when none of the articles said they left because of Mariah, but instead the articles praised Mariah and said the staff left because of Stella? Mariah didn't even need to give an explanation. This is so weird. It's suddenly more important to defend her manager's reputation than her own. Don't get me wrong, I don't think Mariah needs to talk about Morgan at all, that's her personal business, but I find it weird she is suddenly getting defensive about her manager. Are these quotes even from her or did Stella just write it like she wrote "Mariah's message" to her fans in Brussels.

Actually no, her stylist/jeweler to the stars Wilfredo is no longer working with Mariah. He confirmed it on his IG responding to a comment about him leaving.

MIAM (60,975) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
I've been noticing a lot of suggestions on what producers Mimi should work with on her next opus. While some say ditch her main go to producers I would be careful there because her main producers JD and Big Jim did great work on her last album. If anyone was dead weight it was Dark Child. Cry was a very strong opener, YDKWTD was amazing and a hit that was left behind. Also MILG was a bop as well. If anything I would like to see Mimi write more by herself next go round like she used to. Also I would not want new collaborators and classic Mimi collaborators so this album can be a mix of old and new. Btw MIAM was a great body of work, it just did not get much attention from Mimi or DJ because of everything that was happening at the time in Mimi's personal life.

Medley (60,974) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
Had this medley on repeat. The guy did such a great job of blending the songs. He also has a great voice.

Re: Rihanna new #1 (60,959) (60,973) by B from USA
I think I Don't Want To Cry and Don't Forget About Us are two of her most memorable #1's. Don't Forget About Us is one of my favorite Mariah songs. Her most memorable are Always Be My Baby, AIWFCIY, Hero and We Belong Together. She has an impressive catalog of hits and album cuts. She can write amazing timeless songs but recently has chased trends and collaborated with rappers instead of the top producers of R&B and Pop. Ryan Tedder is an excellent writer she could work with on ballads. I think Miguel and Happy Perez and Bruno should be called in for the dance songs because her work with Mike Will Made It sounded as dated as her recent work with JD and Big Jim. She needs fresh ideas that they can't provide. They're stuck in the early 2000's and aren't moving forward and it's dating MC.

Stella using M (60,972) by SM from Citizen of the World
Ok so if she is and trying to use Mariah to make her whole family famous, it will not work. Period lol. Nobody cares who Stella is or her family/kids are. Nobody cares what they do and to be quite honnest nobody in America will really care to watch Mariah's World. As much as I do love Mariah and will like to watch it the average person does not care about Mariah's personal life on tour. Maybe in the 90's that would have been cool but not now. Mariah needs to focus on her tour, writing, producing and making music and the public will like her. Not a damn E reality show. Mariah is famous for her voice, not her personal life and social media photos. Stella and her immature daughters will not be the "new" Kardashions, it's way to much lmao. And I also think it's not Stella who is in charge of Mariahs twitter/insta, I think it's her daughters. Much love.

Re: Insta (60,966) (60,971) by Marissa from USA
Preach. I hope Stella's master plan of making her kid a star off of Mariah's back fails (and I think it will because most people were paying her dust on that sneaky post on Mariah's instagram and just focusing on MC's 2 milliseconds in the video). Let her mature and then decide if she wants life in the public eye permanently. At 12 we all think we want to be famous but once you grow up you are typically grateful that you're not.

Mariah live in Helsinki (60,969) by Tiina from Finland
We're almost there, only three more days. She'll be here on Monday or Sunday. I'm beyond excited. Just seeing the show will be such a high, I will be an emotional mess by the time she sings Hero but actually meeting her is surreal. It's like meeting Elvis or Michael Jackson, a true musical legend and genius. I've been a lamb since Touch My Body came out. That's when I truly fell in love with her personality as well as her music because I was like not only is she so incredibly talented but she's funny and beautiful. I still have no idea what I'm going to say to her but I guess I just want to thank her for being her. Her music has made such a huge impact on my life. That "if you believe in yourself enough and know what you want you're gonna make it happen, there's an answer if you reach into your soul, they can't take that away, I can make it through the rain, carry me high, I just can't give up now" message has really hit home for me over the years. I'm getting teary right now.

The Page Six article about members of her team being fired or leaving has been proven false. She's still working her stylist and makeup artist who were among those who supposedly left because of Stella. She needs to hire independent financial advisor and publicists who are not related to Stella if the Page Six article is true.

How strange that the media didn't write anything about it before the concert. A lot of people didn't know about it. Bad promotional work from Live Nation I guess.

Insta (60,966) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
So Stella is now using Mariah's instagram to "like" Mishka's pictures so that everyone who follows Mariah views it too. Girl first of all we all know by now that Mariah doesn't use her own insta. Secondly I don't see Mariah liking anyone other persons pictures. Why do you have to be so thirsty? These stupid moves kinda overshadows the positive things she probably did for Mariah. Stop trying to sell your family to the GP and work on your client.

Re: New music (60,952) (60,965) by Mara from United States
That would be so ideal at this point B. She needs to take advantage of how amazing, powerful and clear she sounds and record something now. We know Mariah loves the studio and people refer her to a "studio artist" and she sounds good in the studio when her voice has been in rougher shape. Imagine how she would sound now recording new songs. Mariah, even if you have any left off tracks that were never released from the Butterfly era, the way your voice is sounding you can sing those and release them. Even if you recorded a secret album from before MIAM and have something ready to go, re-record it with they way you sound now. And take advantage of this time on E and let it show how talented and creative you are. Get a new song out ASAP with all this promotion. As Stella says Mariah is on fire. Let's go.

Re: Not a fan anymore (60,963) (60,964) by darrian liu from taiwan
I also like both songs. I thought Dangerous Woman is more of a The Weeknd 's Earned It ripoff, although imo Dangerous Woman is better. I agree on Be Alright, it doesn't really have a climax or anything particularly exciting although it is catchy and quite good. I love how at least Ariana tried to not rip off Mariah and try something new instead. I really hope that she'll find her own voice soon (this is her third album and she still doesn't have her own identity). Meanwhile, will Bey really release her album today? Most importantly, will Mariah really sing in there? Literally Bey got me really excited about the potential collab.

Re: Not a fan anymore (60,957) (60,963) by this_is_qhm from the Philippines
I actually quite like Dangerous Woman and Be Alright. And not ironically, I'm surprised. Dangerous Woman sounds like an Christina outtake from her Stripped album. Be Alright is pleasant, but does not build up to anything at all and apparently, is the subject of a current plagiarism case. No one sounds completely original these days, but it seems that Ariana's identity so far is all about borrowing heavily from other artists. That does not bode well for her in the long run. But still, like someone mentioned here before, we need people who have talent in the mainstream music world and she's a few of those who can actually sing, no matter how much of a Herculean act it is to decipher the lyrics behind her mumbles.

The show and her voice were amazing. I cried during One Sweet Day. She gets top notch reviews in all the biggest newspapers in Norway.

Re: Rihanna new #1 (60,945) (60,959) by this_is_qhm from the Philippines
Exactly. Sure, Mariah's had her share of forgettable #1s (IDWC, TGIFY, DFAU) but the fact that the public can still remember at least 10 of them speaks volumes (VOL, Emotions, IBT, Dreamlover, Hero, Fantasy, ABMB, My All, WBT, TMB). It's a shame that When We Were Young wasn't that successful. But that was the wrong choice for a second single. She should have gone with Send My Love (To Your New Lover). It would have been a nice contrast to Hello.

Beyonce (60,956) by B from USA
I'm starting to think the rumors about the duet with Beyonce are true. I think their collaboration will be the album's lead single or second since she already released Formation. I hope it's a great song but Beyonce hasn't released a great song in years. Hopefully, Mariah was involved in the writing and production. If there is one thing Ms. Carey is good at it's writing and producing. I almost forgot to mention arranging. Slay Mariah, slay.

Tragic ending is imminent (60,955) by THE TRUTH from USA
I hate to be the bearer of bad news but so many of you sheep are so obsessed that you can't see the forest for the trees. This fairytale doesn't have a happy ending and that's clear as day to anyone whose paying attention. Mariah is in desperate need of help and she's alienated anyone who could actually provide it to her. Step one. Lambs step up and protest on a huge scale. Get Stella out.

I would love the #1 To Infinity tour book. I don't think it was available when I went. The merchandise was bleak.
