I can not say if the source is reliable or not but I did learn some new things. As most of you I was blown away when I listened the snippet of "We are not making love this morning". What a shade MC would have done to Barbra Streisand in 1990. Anyway tomorrow it is Christmas Eve in Europe so have a festive time every one and Merry Christmas. We're Not Making Love Anymore Duet - footage (58,668) by Martyn from England, UK So I've done a bit of digging, and there is recorded footage of the Michael Bolton and Mariah duet. There is a company called Reel In The Years that provide footage to documentary makers. If you go to their website here and search for Mariah Carey, they have it listed as available footage. In fact, today I woke up humming Barbra's version and was thinking after I finished listening to Kate Bush, I should pop Barbra's cd in the cd-player to blast this power ballad. Now finally I get a glimpse of Mariah's apparently epic version. I'm not sure how many of you realize the importance of such performances surfacing at this point in time. We're talking about one of the most important vocalists of our time, which may have been overstated at times but not for the right reasons (i.e. promotional purposes). Listening to early Mariah twenty five years after she broke through is like finding gold all over again or, to put it differently, like acknowledging the legend that she is.
