Of course. Thanks for that. Keep up the good work.

Licia, That "#Beautiful" Jeezy remix was perfection. "Your body so dope you should have been a dealer." I loved it. Jeezy, Mariah and Miguel sounded great together. Lol I laughed so loud when I read you pretend you pretend that the A$AP Rocky remix doesn't exist and I am completely with you. "I don't know her" moment for me. Anyways I don't know if you heard it but Mariah left a voice message and she played a snippet of another remix of "#Beautiful" that was supposed to be released but alas abandoned. It was going to be a re-sung dance remix and it was right along the lines of the "Dream lover", "Fantasy" dance remixes she did in the 90s with re-sung vocals. Really for me Mariah never lost the ability to do a great remix but I think with "Infinity" she missed the mark. Let's see how the finished version sounds and how they promote it. Regardless of how I feel about the song, if this does blow up the charts, I will be extremely happy for Mariah. Until then can I join you in your denial booth?

Licia, I completely agree with you. A song doesn't have to be necessarily a hit, but it could be well produced and put together. Especially now that technology can make things easier. Anybody can have a mini studio at home, I've seen it. This "rent two rappers and teen" combo didn't work at all. It sounds uninspired and desperate at best. Infinity is not going to happen, she should've left it there where it was when she first released it. "Infinity" is not even an iota closed to the quality and production of "Beautiful" album version and remix, "Almost Home" or "Triumphant" remixes. This is a complete mess. I hope Mariah finds her muse soon because evidently she seems to have lost it. This is not about wanting '90's Mariah, it is about quality more than anything. When four people come together and can't put together something decent, either somebody is being a control freak or something is very wrong. Mariah needs to come from "Infinity" to "Reality". After the way they have cleaned her image, she needs to be more serious about her music.

Lol Let me have my moment of denial. I'm allowed. Lol. You brought up a point earlier bout the Jeezy hip hop mix of Beautiful. That's the type of remix I expected of Infinity/Thirsty. I adore that remix (I like to pretend the Beautiful remix with ASAP Rocky never happened lol). It shows she's still capable of doing a great remix that's sounds current. I'm not expecting the 90's style of remixes, I just miss the 90's work ethic where she went the extra mile to make something great. It's possible because of how great the Jeezy remix of Beautiful came out (I want to see that video Mariah lol). I'm still trying to give Infinity/Thirsty a chance, but this new remix didn't help.

I really like the new layout of MCArchives. It's so much easier to use on my mobile phone. I'm not sure if this is a problem that you are already aware of, Eric (or if it is just an issue with my phone) but I can't read messages on the message board, just the subject lines. Singing high on weed (55,838) by Ben from Sweden
Here's a fan of Mariah Carey who calls himself Melovi, he sings while high on weed. Kinda good actually. Take a listen here.

So so... deaf (55,837) by May from Denmark
I loved the parts Mariah sang. With her voice going strong I thought we were going to have one of those full blast belted endings. But I agree, it seemed abrupt. I disliked Montana, he sounded sleepy through the whole record, I truly believe the sudden ending of the song was because he made them all fall asleep. His songs and his rapping are terrible, I don't understand what was he doing there. I think that with a small rap by TI somewhere before the ending and just the part Justin sang would have sufficed. Mariah seems to still have the magic in her fingers but somehow is having a difficult time mixing the pot.

Remix (55,836) by Cgee54 from Usa
I suspect that Bieber's verse was actually meant for Mariah to sing because he came last and jumped in the song. Do I hate the song, no but do I like it, so so. Mariah's issue is that everyone expects her to do music the way she did and realistically I don't think that's possible because how the music scene has changed. Yet I suspect if she did go back to the old way of doing things she will still be bashed.

Why You Mad (55,835) by Jake from New Zealand
Is a mess. French Montana's verse is trash. T.I.'s even worse. Justin's is ok. The only good things were the beat and the new Mariah vocals. The end was abrupt. I don't understand how the same person who gave us MIAM released this mess. I don't even understand the need to remix the original. Which is probably the worst song ever released by Mariah, after Don't Stop. Mariah needs to stop collaborating with rappers and start with singers.

Best live vocal moments of final show (55,834) by 123 from USA
This YouTuber put together her best live vocal moments of the final show. I'm shocked that she actually sang the second verse of Honey live. She also went for a note in VOL that she avoided the whole show. Her voice sounded crystal clear. I hope she continues to improve and continue to sound this good.

Why You Mad remix (55,833) by Nick from USA
I'm just going to appreciate it because this will probably be the last new "song" we get for a while. The remix is alright, I just wish she was in it more. I would talk more about it but there really isn't much to say regarding the track. (PS: I love the new layout of the site.)

And just when we thought (55,832) by Marcus from Brazil
Well, "Triumphant" would be the equivalent of "Butterfly" compared to "Why You Mad Infinity Mess-mix". It is an epic mess. The "Triumphant" remixes were great, I burned the Vintage one at the gym, but this "Infinity" saga keeps getting infinitely worse. I remember when I first heard that snippet of "Heartbreaker", my heart stopped of excitement, but this remix? God have mercy. I don't think Mariah should try to replicate "Fantasy", but some people are not telling it like it is. We can be in "Lambily Land" saying it is acceptable, but this is a mess.

Why you mad? (55,831) by Ardis Logic from Earth
I hate to say negative things about MC, so I will keep it short and sweet. I don't love it, but I don't hate it. Justin's part was ok, Frenchy and TI sucked. I liked the new vocals. It sounds like it had the potential to be really good, then they all got drunk and lost the vision. Love the new layout by the way. It's stellar.

I like it. It sounds like something I would listen to on my way to work. I listened to the version posted on TMZ.

Why You Mad? (55,829) by LC from USA
Why you mad? I guess that's a question that applies to more than one person. I actually really like the remix. I made the mistake of reading through fan comments on this board and other forums before actually listening, and from what was said, I was really expecting that it was the worst song Mariah has ever released. But, as usual, lambs overreacted and had meltdowns over nothing. I think it's a good song. I think it's current, has a nice flow and is a vast improvement over the original. The beat is very radio friendly, the chorus is memorable as ever, and the added verses/raps give the song an edge that the original was missing. Though I wish Mariah gave herself more parts, instead of being a hook singer on her own remix, I liked each section and danced along to the beat. It knocks. It's not the best remix she's ever done, by a stretch, but it's definitely not the worst. It has radio potential. And that's coming from a teen who is actually in touch with current music. Mariah gave us the 90s/Emancipation moment we all wanted last year with MIAM, but many treated it like trash. Let's let Mariah try something new. Again, why you mad?

Remix (55,828) by Nick from Maryland
I feel like if she wanted to go the rent-a-rapper route there were some better choices, people that the younger people are really into right now like Fetty Wap etc. Bieber being on the track is a good thing because of his huge fan base.

A mess, but I'm not surprised (55,827) by Marissa from USA
The song sounded junky. Period. Team too much. Mariah has been chasing a Fantasy ODB-level remix since 95 and she seems to be getting further and further away from it. Leave all of these "here today, gone tomorrow" artists alone and choose one (caps) artist who has the potential to be a legend to be on the track.

Remix (55,826) by Luke from United Kingdom
I actually don't mind it, the beat seems a lot more catchier than the original. The only thing I don't like is that it's like Mariah takes a back seat. I wish she had put in the line "Is it lack of ice got you so cold?" Oh well, hopefully mixing with different people like Justin will open her up to a new audience which is what it looks like they may be doing. I like that she's exploring different things, even if some might not be that successful. That's what a real artist should do. I would rather her try a new sound on Infinity and it not work instead of trying it on a new song and it goes down the drain. She could easily churn out Vision Of Love / We Belong Together type songs that we're used to and love but that isn't going to get her anywhere. To evolve she has to take a risk and try different sounds and work with different people. The thing is, unless she collaborates first I doubt any singles of her alone she would chart in anyway because not enough people know her or have forgotten her. They need to expose her more and think that's what this might be all about.

Remix (55,825) by Stella Lewis from USA
I just read the comments on TMZ and wow, everyone is bashing Mariah so hard. No one seemed to like it, calling it a hot mess etc. Honestly, I kinda agree with them. It was sub-par by Mariah standards. I would rather her not release a song at all, than release one that is terrible, because at least then she'll have her integrity in check.

On the bathroom floor (55,824) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
I see a lot of lambs around various boards disliking the song. One comment made me laugh out loud because of how the person described the ending. He/she said that the ending sounds like they all forgot their lines at a point and someone just pushed the stop button on the recording. I actually agree with the comment. It does sound like that. It was so abrupt.

Lol Licia I love how you are still in denial and hoping we are getting "punked". Trust me, I am hoping for the same. As for "Triumphant", I adore that song. One of my favorites. This song is a mess.

Infinity remix (55,822) by Darryle from USA
The remix is okay. It's not terrible but it could be better. The beat is hot and Mariah's resung vocals sound really good. I just don't understand why Mariah insist of playing chorus girl own her own song. She should have taken out French Montana and T.I. and left her raps in. This remix had a lot of potential but it was spoiled by the uneccesary rappers.

TMZ (55,821) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
Lol so this is what TMZ said about the article. I mean on their Facebook "Click here for the premiere of 'Why You Mad' with Justin Bieber, Mariah Carey, French Montana & T.I. This song is gonna be huge." I am dead. Since when does TMZ "premiere" songs and I laughed hard at them pushing the song by declaring it will be huge. I will be happy for Mariah if the song does become a hit because she needs one right now. Plus like I said it's possible to do it via deals and a well planned promo plan. But the song remains below Mariah's standards. Maybe there is a reason they are so confident about it, let's wait and see.

Infinity remix (55,820) by Liz Archer from Sweden
I am not a fan, it's same song again but with just more rapping. I don't like that it's not a new song. The only good addition to the song other than Mariah was - surprisingly - Justin's part. Especifically I guess I don't like the flow of the song. It's very messy with strange arrangements of sounds. No real flow in it.

Why You Mad (55,819) by darrian liu from taiwan
Idk what to feel about this. I really like the re-sung parts because they actually show that her voice is gradually coming back to form. They're really good. T.I's part actually add something to it. Would've preferred if only MC and T.I. work on it together. But JB's part are like, downright bad. Flat lyrics and his nasal voice really sounded horrible with that autotune. French's parts were blech too. Again, they sound patchy in production, just like the original. I love some parts of Infinity and some parts of the remix. It's like if they're combined, it would make a super solid song. But what happened to those magical remixes like My All/Stay Awhile and I Still Believe (Pure Imagination)? But after hearing the re-sung parts, I wanted Mariah to do an appearance on TV and you know, strip down Infinity and sing it with just a piano or a guitar and improvise a lot. It would be pure magic if she does that (considering if she warms up her voice for an hour or two before it and rehearses), just like the SNL performance of Vanishing.
