Article: Mariah Carey roasted for looking "stiff and awkward" (104,115) by JR from United States
Exactly all these grown men on here complaining judging her. It's weird. Can't people just enjoy the music?

Oh no you ruined everything by deciding to not go. Do any of you have lives outside of this messageboard? To come on here just to announce you aren't going? Nobody cares or asked.

Dolly Parton releases a rock album (104,113) by MusicfanJ from Germany
Oh yes, that's a dream of mine too. I would love smooth and jazzy tunes. I hope one day we will get something like this. "Mesmerized" and "Lullaby of Birdland" are showing how it could sound.

Clips (104,111) by Terna from Nigeria
Yeah she's a little bit low energy, but she pulled out songs she hasn't sung in almost 10 years and killed it and she's singing live. Mariah is going through real vocal issues and I wish the fans would be a little bit more understanding. She obviously has taken our advice and seen some form of voice therapist and or coach because she sounds much better than she did this time last year and even all the way back to the pandemic year. I hope she gets even better.

I wish MC would do something similar like this with a 70's R&B and Jazz influenced cover album. It would fit her current voice perfectly - smooth and jazzy.

I guess despite being an emotionless stiff she still has humor.

Dolly Parton releases a rock album (104,107) by MusicfanJ from Germany
Yesterday I saw in the news that Dolly Parton is releasing a rock album. With the age of 77 I find it pretty cool. I think she has great humour. In the interview they asked from Country to Rock? And she said, because she's in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame so she had to do an album for the genre.

If it's true, that's tough stuff. In my heart I always hope the best, but I often get dissapointed by people. That's a reason I stay away from superficial ones. Down to earth people never hurt me. But with Bryan a lot of you never trusted him. I just thought Mariah was happy with him. It's really sad if they broke up. The "superlove". Mariah deserves a real partner who loves her the human. And of course her kids.

Yes, it's sad to watch her perform. Maybe I am wrong, but I don't think AIWFCIY is going to hit number one this year. This whole Christmas season already seems off for MC. I think that she has overextended herself with too many dates. Plus, she got some tough competition this year from a crop new Christmas songs in top 5 on iTunes. Brenda Lee is bubbling right at number 6 behind MC. We will find out on Black Friday whether MC will make it to number one on iTunes next weekend.

Don't waste your time, everything the Tanaka article says about the show is true. I stopped watching because it makes me sad and I don't want to be sad during the holidays. I'm actually revisiting the Merry Christmas II You album in anticipation of when AIWFCIY will hit the top spot again. We got MB30 this year, that's enough for me.

There is one thing you can say about MC is that she doesn't tolerate any type of wrong doing by anyone in her life or who works for her. She will give you the boot quicker than you can say I am sorry. Big Jim Wright was replaced by Daniel Moore without explanation. Hopefully, after the Christmas concerts she will work hard in the studio like she did during the Memoirs and MIAM eras. I would love for MC release a hot album in 2024 even with the state of her voice right now.

Can Mariah beat The Beatles? (104,100) by jaker20 from US
If she's scared to take it, Taylor Swift will. She seems more fearless (no pun).

The comments accusing him on his insta says it happened during this summer, I may be wrong, but apparently it's wire fraud. Hate to say this but Mariah needs to stay away from him as far away as possible.

There's a rumour that Bryan Tanaka was arrested a few months ago in Brazil for his involvement in a scam several years ago (pre-Mariah). Not sure if it's true or completely made up, but that would explain his absence recently and subsequent removal from her Instagram. Or, they may have simply broken up. It happens.

As for the Christmas concerts, I'm not even going to waste my time watching the videos. It's the same thing we see every year. Like you all, I fear for Mariah's wellbeing and whatever she is battling. But continuing the charade is not helping anyone. The truth will come out one day I suppose.

3 biggest feature shames (104,097) by Matty from Vancouver Canada
I love the Westlife version of Against All Odds and would have taken them over the 98 Degrees boy band colab with TGIFY. Westlife didn't fully land in Canada, so maybe it's because it was one of my only real exposure to them that I like that version so much.

Instead, I'd like to suggest When Christmas Comes with John Legend. I love that feature and video so much, it's everything Christmas to me and should have been the version of MCIIY. Plus John is so darn cute especially playing on the keys.

Can Mariah beat The Beatles? (104,096) by Matty from Vancouver Canada
I think Mariah could absolutely best The Beatles, but I remember her saying in an interview years back that she's afraid to eclipse their standing because people would throw a fit. She mentioned things were already heated enough when she surpassed Elvis. If Mariah got credit on BBE, and her feature on Unforgettable with French Montana were the main, standard versions, plus Migrate being single 2 from EMC2, and Loverboy Firecracker version getting a proper push, she'd be there.

Emotionless: Mariah's face is totally stiff (104,095) by Edward from USA
I won't personally go on a diatribe about the first concert. At least she's playing it safe with the few parts she's singing live. She's definitely not lipping 99%, but she's lipping a huge chunk of the concert, I would say anything that requires any nominal belting is being lipped. I'm concerned about her well-being though. It is as if she's going through the motions, as if her body is there, but her soul is not. I really hope she has some great support system around her. Her twins still need her around for many years to come.

Emotionless: Mariah's face is totally stiff (104,094) by jaker20 from US
I agree with her being stiff, hello that's been her case since Memoirs. But she's not 99% lipping. This is the problem with group pileups, we get carried away, start exaggerating and it becomes free for all. I'm sure its possible to criticize her and still be truthful, without throwing everything but the kitchen sink.

Anyway, this is the start of the season, and per usual, I can already feel the lambs sharpening their knives. Carry on.

Emotionless: Mariah's face is totally stiff (104,093) by MC1989 from Spain
The Virgin Mary kinda outfit is iconic, the religious imaginary always works (Madonna, Beyoncé etc and now Mariah is using it too), it looks beautiful on her. That being said, it's sad to watch her lipping 99% of the show. It's not that she's lipping the climaxes as she used to do, now she's lipping 99% of each song. She's stiff as a rock. She's unable to convey any emotion at all after the face surgery. I don't understand the need of exposing herself like this. If she's unable to sing, why go on tour? It's not that she doesn't dance, she doesn't sing either and she doesn't even try to pretend to be singing live. The only thing she does is stand there looking beautiful and stiff. I Hope she's ok but obviously she's not. I love you Mariah no matter what I will always support your music, your catalogue is untouchable and unmatchable, and so is your legacy, but please stop draggin' it. Don't go on tour. You have been blessing us for decades now. Focus on writing another book, songs or poetry, or on other projects less stressing or demanding, and only go out the and sing when you're really ready and prepared for it.

I hate people who complain about stupid things like that. Mariah is a normal human being and not every day will be her best day, can't they just imagine themselves going through something difficult in their own lives and have people complain about their so not great days.

We need to be kind to Mariah, ok? (104,091) by Bobby A from United States
MC hasn't been the same since she lost Nick. Rewind back to 2009 when MC appeared on America's Got Talent to perform Obsessed. That appearance showed a sparkle in her eyes that we haven't seen in a long time. She was a woman in love performing on her man's show. Nick will always be the man she thought would be with her forever.
