Music Box (52,890) by Ardis Logic from Earth "Music Box" is my all time favorite Mariah Carey album. It is very near and dear to my heart. When it first came out, I didn't have enough money to buy the album, so a friend of mine let me borrow his. When I went to return it to him he said I could have it. I was so happy and grateful that he let me have it. I have listened to this album so many times, probably more than any other album I own. When I first heard "Dreamlover" and saw the video I was so in love with Mariah. The songs "Hero" and "Anytime You Need a Friend" pretty much saved my life. The title track was so beautiful. I love the feel of the whole album and never have gotten tired of it. (Tuesday 5 May 2015; 23:04)

I am asking because by looking at her supposed appearances, she has the Billboard Awards on the 17th and then she tapes the mini concert for Jimmy Kimmel on the 18th in Los Angeles. I haven't heard any other singer being named an "inspiration" for the current lot of A list singers than the number of people who cite MC as their musical inspiration. Vegas (52,876) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter I hope some major A list stars go and see Mariah perform at Vegas. It'll add tot he publicity. So many major celebs went to see Britney perform and that too on the same night, it got a lot of press coverage. MC has influenced so many artists in her 25 years in the business, I hope they have the courtesy to show their support towards her by going to Vegas. I'm looking at you Beyonce, Rihanna, Sam Smith and what have you. So many of them will already be there for the BBMAs and all. (Tuesday 5 May 2015; 21:31)

BBMA (52,871) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Excited. *high pitched squeal* I wonder what she'll perform. A medley of the 1's to promote Vegas or Infinity to promote her latest single. I can't decide which will be better. Singing the #1's may introduce her to more people who are not aware of her catalogue while at the same time celebrate her 25th year in the business, after all she is holding 2 major records on the BB charts. But at the same time Infinity needs to be promoted until it's dry and it's a song that can easily catch the attention of the younger music lovers. What do you guys think? (Tuesday 5 May 2015; 18:29)

The "Honey" bodysuit (52,870) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter I, for one, don't mind the black bodysuit she wore for Honey (I am assuming that's the one since the outfit is taken from the video). I have been rooting for her to wear some of her iconic outfits and the black bodysuit (along with the nude two piece) is as iconic as it gets. Her legs might look thicker because the shot was take from way above. Possibly one of the higher views. Because she is pretty thin now. Even if her legs are like that for real, I'm glad she's confident enough to wear that outfit. It's a performance. It's Vegas. It has to be over the top. I'm rooting for more throwback iconic outfits. It didn't bother me at all when I saw that picture the first time, I think she looks curvy, not fat.
