Hare For AI All (110,607) by Edward from USA
AI is getting scary good. If I didn't know this was AI, I would've though it was a new song from Mariah. Fans are getting very creative with whistle placements and background vocals.

My point was if she doesn't really write she probably doesn't really produce either.

Daydream anniversary (110,605) by Tevin from USA
I'm trying to spend less, but I'm afraid a HFA Daydream SUD triple release will set me back. Lol I'd definitely buy all those vinyls. Also, I don't know if it's ever been mentioned on this message board or not, but Migrate should have been a single, Always Be My Baby is Mariah's best pop song of her career, and Daydream is her best album.

You aren't wrong. Beyoncé is overrated and I don't know why there's still such a hype. It can't be because of the music only. Someone wrote here, she has a great management and image. I loved her music when she's was with Destiny's Child. That was perfect produced late 90ies RNB. Every song a hit and radio friendly. But as a solo artist, there's nothing really special. That "Texas" song was cool but so many Grammys? It's not fair. But maybe it's because she's such a beautiful woman and good dancer, so it's enough for the people to get entertained. Compared to Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Glady's Knight, these are the vocal queens beside Mariah. Sade is another great female singer. Her tone is beautiful and so relaxed.

A producer doesn't have to write, a producer is a producer, not necessarily a songwriter.

Why is Beyoncé way higher than Mariah (and a lot of the other producers on this list)? I read (on Reddit a long time ago) that she doesn't even write her songs. I read she changes a few words and claims credit. That's her contribution. Are we living in the upside down? How can she, in good conscience, even accept that honor? Does she even deserve all those Grammys she has? She has a great voice, and some great songs, but is she actually the producer? I don't follow her that closely, so please somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

Yeah, the rock pic. It was also on the tour magazine. Such a cool picture from her. I also love the influenced pics from the Bete Midler movie. That style was so beautiful on Mariah.

Mariah would rock so hard. When I was young (a teen) I didn't like rock music. I was in the rnb and pop "bubble". But now I love rock plus Rock & Roll. I'm open for almost every genre, as long as it's good, real and heartfelt with real musicians. There are so many good rock songs out there Mariah could cover or write by her own. "Bringin on the Heartbreak" is such a gem, really. I still think of the version she did during the Charmbracelet concert that I atend, it was the best and outstanding. I hope Mariah releases "Someone's ugly daughter" as a bonus. It would surprise many and only positive.

Dreamlover (110,599) by MusicfanJ from Germany
Yes, "Dreamlover" is simply perfect. She set her own bar too high. What she created in the past can't be beaten by anybody including hetself. What a young Mariah did musicwise will forever be in the history of music and charts. That's why she's a legend because of songs like that.

This video explains thoroughly everything about MC's voice changes through out years. All of our points are validated in the video in some shape, form or fashion. MC has really been through a lot during her career.

I absolutely loved the photo taken during the Charmbracelet era, the one where she's holding the guitar over her head.

I wish Mariah had covered more of the male 80s soft rock, and turned it into an album. Without You, Open Arms, IWTKWLI were all a success for her.

She slayed that genre, and they were perfect for her voice back then. But that was the 90s, her voice has changed.

But she can still cover Foreigner, REO Speedwagon (In My Dreams), Air Supply (Lost In Love), that kind of stuff.

I would legitimately love to see Mariah step outside her comfort zone and do some alternative rock covers. We all know she has a secret rocker side that's waiting to be unleashed. I honestly thought that was going to happen when she and Courtney Love were photographed together with Lee Daniels 10 or so years ago.

I also legitimately would have loved for Aretha Franklin to do a song like Bjork's "Army of Me". That would have been cool to hear.

I believe what the Sun reported yesterday that MC is already thinking about her 17th album being a deep cut project. Somebody's Ugly Daughter is definitely a deep cut project. Maybe she will release it with The Rarities II (1997-2009) as a 3LP vinyl album.

It's not too much. It's great that lambs are trying to relate and connect the dots. Bipolar disorder is Mariah's greatest demon, the one she's been battling almost her entire life. As her extended family, it's important for us to be educated about it so we can support her in that fight. Someone on her team could be reading these.

I'm listening to Dreamlover and comparing against Type Dangerous and Sugar Sweet... there is absolutely no comparison. Dreamlover is just a perfect pop song, one of the best things she ever did. Her voice, the harmonies, the backgrounds, the melody... it is perfect. Oh Mariah come back please.

What if Mariah finally released "Someone's Ugly Daughter" alongside "Here For It All"? Or maybe she could let some of those unrelerased gems from the "Daydream" sessions out the vault. Her voice from that era was so distinctive, so honest. One can only dream.
