Power-full Mariah (47,668) by David F from Mexico
After watching a clip of Mariah singing "Fly like a bird in Manila" some tears came out my soul, so sincere and what a powerfull momento. Everyone was singing along, and she looks so happy. After all she is an artist and needs some re-connection with the people, and I am happy to see new little fans (kids) to keep the lambily legacy going. And the voice is at its best once again. I think this performances will bring creativity to make another hot album like always and finally this proves Mariah will never stop. I just wish so much she could sing through the rain, the message in Asia was needed. And she had to give them all they want for Christmas, but dark Mariah has it's role too (diva ways).

Hello Billy from Greece (47,667) by Will Hudson from United States
Thanks for saying hello. Meeting Mariah in 2009 was a dream come true. Her music has kept me sane in so many ways. I literally just cried listening to Hero. Her music never gets old to me. You asked a few question. I'll try to answer them all. Yes, I first met Mariah in 2009 via the Oprah Show. Obviously that was awesome. I'm blessed beyond measure. As you mentioned, my friend Marcus and I got to appear in the I Want To Know What Love Is video. I know we lambs hate on the video but it will always have a special place in my heart. I've interacted MC a few times since 2009. Backstage at her Las Vegas shows in 2009, on set of the Beautiful (remix) video, and at the Jimmy Fallon TAOLG performance. I was also present for her GMA 2013, NYE 2013, and Today Show 2014 performances. Cherish seeing her in person if you ever get the opportunity, it's truly an amazing experience. Lastly, Mariah is very genuine in person. You asked about my health and cancer battle that I spoke of on Oprah 2011. I'm doing well. Next year is official remission. The last time I saw Mariah was at Jimmy Fallon. We hadn't seen one another since 2009. The first thing she asked me was, "How are you doing? How is your health?" That meant the world to me. More than free trips, concerts and music videos. Mariah is a genuine artist who cares. I'm a lamb for life indeed.

Mariah's being sued by 30 Filipinos (47,665) by Edward from USA
I'm so happy Mariah tore it up in Manila. The Philippines is a country where Mariah influence is felt in almost every female singer. Those who have sung her songs through the years are very good vocalist too, like Regine Velasquez. If there was a country I wanted her to represent, it was there, and she did. Those whistle notes at the end of "Emotions" were to die for. She showed her loyal Filipino fan base that she's still the queen. Filipinos are some of Mariah's most devoted fans, so I'm glad she gave them her all. The way they received her at the airport reminded me when she was really popular in the US. I don't know what she did, if she hired a vocal coach or what, but she should keep on doing what she's doing because it is working. That's what I want from Mariah, not a perfect performances, but consistent ones. Rumor has it that fans on the first few rows ended up deaf after those ultrasonic whistle notes, it's all on RumorTube.

Mariah's voice (47,664) by Jono from USA
She really is getting better as the tour goes on. She was just rusty her first couple of stops and now is hitting the ground running. And even though you can't expect an early 90s voice anymore (your voice changes as you get older no matter who you are), I'm still amazed that she can do more with her voice than what most pop artists can ever do. To me, Mariah is the last of the traditional big voiced diva from the US. She is a national treasure.

Could you have a longer name, lol. Anyways, you're tripping if you haven't been impressed with at least one performance from the tour. I literally laughed when I read your post. But please, keep your negative comments to yourself. You're not impressed, fine. Why bother posting about it. Mariah has been singing pretty damn good to me, considering where her voice has been. She's doing great, and I couldn't be more happy or proud.

Feels like we are watching a rebirth (47,662) by Mara from United States
I don't know about you guys, but these performances from China on just keep getting better. Mariah's voice in Singapore and the last show are mind blowing. She not only sounds amazing, but her confidence is beaming through. I think it is amazing to see unfold through each show. She is just going for it. I don't know if after those first shows with the media attacks if she went on some kind of work up for her vocals or she is no longer afraid to attempts the notes due to I almost hate to say this, but how much more could they have attacked her after those Japan shows so she just went for it. In any case she is using her voice and it is obviously working and making it stronger. Like anything that hasn't been used a lot over a matter of time, it takes time to warm up. I love how much fun she seems to be having on stage now, the way she is changing up some songs, especially that vocal she does before Thirsty. Mariah we need U.S. dates. You will be in amazing form when you make it back over here. Please add some shows for us.

Hmm (47,660) by Alexis Morell Carrington Colby Dexter Rowan from USA
I've been watching the videos and I guess it's just me but I'm not really impressed. Yea here and there she gives a clever run or a nice note but holistically it's not impressive. Oh well, enjoy lambs.

Ideas (47,657) by S from England
What do fans on this messageboard believe got Mariah's vocal condition improving drastically lately? The opening in Japan was so disappointing, then so quickly she turned it around with these past shows. I contend that the answer may have lay I'm the criticism she endured for those opening shows. I feel she might have enlisted a vocal specialist or a stricter vocal regime focusing on vocal hygiene and benign nodule/callus management. Whatever it is, it's certainly working.

My all in Manila (47,656) by Abraham from USA
Best that she has sung it so far. I heard her '97 voice in some parts. The tour just keeps getting better. Anyone know where Mariah is headed next?

Emotions video post (47,650) (47,655) by Lee TS from USA
I've been obsessing with this part and kept replaying it over and searching other clips of Emotions in Manila. You have to watch this specific part starting at 2:49 and then notice at 2:51 she goes low. And when I say low, I mean ground bottom low. There's and eeriness about it and a tad bit devilish, then notice the turn she does. It's so awesome I couldn't get over it, a definite Mariah moment for me.

Thirsty video (47,653) by William from Philippines
Mariah asked us during her concert here in Manila last night to sing the "uh, you thirsty" line with her and said, "Sing it up because I want you in my video." I think she's making a music video or it's just going to be a video like Hero in China or IG video lol.

"Hero" in Manila, near-flawless (47,652) by Randy E. from Philippines

The highlight of Mariah's Manila show was her near-flawless rendition of "Hero", which drew one of the biggest applause from the audience, with a brief fireworks display towards the end.

Ian James / I'll Be There (47,651) by Edward from USA
Ian James, it is has been obvious that Mariah has been exercising her muscle (voice) and it keeps getting more in shape with every concert. She has been hitting notes she didn't hit in the first few venues. She's also been creative by changing the way she sings some of the most difficult parts of her repertoire. I rather she sings some of her songs tweaking them to suit her voice than fail miserably by trying to hit notes she's not at that moment vocally in shape for. I like when Mariah talks to the audience, I think it is cute. There are songs that call for interaction with the audience like "Always Be My Baby", but when in it comes to the ballads, Popped Eyes help me, lol. It annoys me when she interrupts, let's say "Vision of Love", switching into speaking mode, it kind of take the vibe of the song away for me. I'm happy though that she's getting her confidence back. You'll see that one of these days she'll give you what you need. She's already doing it with some songs. She definitely did a great job with "I'll Be There" in Manila.

So thankful I got to experience Mariah's best performance of her tour (47,650) by Randy E. from Philippines

Manila, 12 hours after the concert, I still can't get enough of Mariah. I couldn't sleep, I had to rewatch my videos of the show till 6 a.m. To prove that her Manila stop is the best and the Filipinos are so blessed, here is a video of I'll Be There, not mine, though.

Ian James (47,649) by Abraham from USA
There's nothing corny with Mariah speaking to her audience. I think it's cool and sweet. Mostly all artists talk to the audience at their concerts. Mariah is doing just fine. Just because she's singing live good again doesn't mean we should expect her to hit and belt every note and lyric to a song. My gosh, she's just warming up. Give her time. Also, I think her performance of "I'll be there" in Singapore where she wore the blue dress was pretty damn good.

RockyRoc (47,647) by Ian James from Sabah, Malaysia
Such a cute post. Lol. Well, the thing I'm looking forward to the most is a killing performance of I'll Be There. I don't know if it's just me but I'm beginning to find it a bit corny for her to speak to the audience during the "yeah yeah yeah yeah" part. Given her current vocal state, she can definitely give everyone a shock by belting out that part. She's done just that with her Hero performance in Singapore.

Re: Will Hudson (47,645) by Billy from Greece
Hi Will. You and Marcus on Oprah are one of favorite Mariah moments from the "Memoirs" era, especially when you started naming/singing her songs on stage and she responded. I'd love to know how your experience on the "I Want To Know What Love Is" video shoot was (were you there with her?), or if you have ever met her again since then. But wait a minute: you were also on the Jimmy Fallon "Art of Letting Go" mini-concert thingy. You are one lucky lamb. Also, I hope you have fully recovered health-wise.

Mariah's Manila show, the best show of her tour, by far, near-perfection (47,644) by Randy E. from Philippines
Hours after her historic second concert here in Manila, I'm still in awe of the goddess that is Mariah. This is her second show in the Philippine capital, and having had the chance to witness her Charmbracelet tour ten years ago, all I can say is: she's still got it. I even appreciate this second time better, probably because it was held in an enclosed arena, so the acoustics is better (the first gig was in an open-field venue). Despite the minimalist stage design, the overall feel and vibe of this latter event is a notch better. More intimate, better acoustics, and I was more prepared and less in awe of Mariah, so I had the time to focus and appreciate her performance (before I was too excited that I wasn't able to enjoy the event). Having had some time to watch her previous shows, I can declare: Mimi has recovered much and has taken control of her instrument. She was confident and performed with ease and aplomb. The best show, by far. Mariah is still very much a force to reckon with.

Da Brat dishes on Nick and Mariah's divorce (47,643) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End
02:15 Da Brat: She's good with taking care of the babies and raising them. She's got a lot of help, she's doing fine and yes we are still friends. Everything is great and Nick's a great person too. I'm not gonna take nothing away from him because she's one of my best friends. They had their issues, just like every married couple does and they're moving forward, she is and so is he. Diplomacy prevails for now and I'm glad Brat is a lot more Zen in her aura these days. Nick Cannot "The Abandoner" is still dead to me though.

Emergency, please help a fellow lamb out (47,642) by steven from myanmar
Dear brother and sister lambs from Thailand, I'm Steven from Myanmar. Being a lamb myself, I'm been planning to fly to Thailand for the Elusive Chanteuse Show. When I checked to buy tickets it seems that they are all sold out. Are there any extra tickets or venues that still have available tickets for the show? I already bought the flight ticket and paid for the hotel. I'm so gonna hate myself if I don't see mama lamb Mimi this time. I've waited my whole life for this. Please help. Sos. Thanks.

The tour and her voice (47,641) by Terna from Nigeria
There was so much to be said with the first show in Tokyo Japan about the current state of her voice with some even questioning if she still had it, forgetting Mariah hasn't performed in 4 years, that's a long time. I guess nothing can be said now. The haters have been proven wrong once again. Makes one even wonder why they keep trying smh. I have a feeling Mariah is gonna re-release MIAM again or even a totally brand new album next year 2015, with once again killer vocals seeing as the tour is putting her voice in a great place, reminiscent of the Charmbracelet tour before The Emancipation Of Mimi.
