Fun concept. I hear SZA in Mi, as well as Ariana Grande. It's the type of song she'd do. I Wont Allow It with Bey would also slap. It sounds like it has the same beats per minute as Cuff It. Paul McCartney is obviously the perfect choice for My Love. I hear Toni Braxton for Nothing Is Impossible. If Aretha was alive, she'd be perfect for In Your Feelings. So we'll give it to J-Hud.

I just watched her interview with Keke Palmer and really enjoyed it. People in the comments were saying they should book her in the evenings so she's not so tired and I agree. Still, it was a great interview. It's one of my favorites from this album cycle.

IWAI is part 2 of YDKWTD. I love how real Mariah is. "He can just be in his own world" is nothing but the truth. Short, honest, and classy. She kept it real without being messy. Yet still very considerate about what she puts out to the media regarding her kids' father. She basically said, "If we keep talking about him, I'm going to end up saying something I shouldn't, so let's just not."

Nick is unbearably selfish. It really does take a narcissist to frame it as "all love" in interviews. There's no real co-parenting going on. He pops in and out, at best. There's simply no way to be emotionally or physically present for 12 children living in different homes and give each one the stable life they deserve.

Narcs thrive off the image of being the fun, loving parent while living reckless, chaotic lives and not caring who gets hurt in the process. Mariah not only raised her kids well, but she was smart enough to separate herself from his dysfunction and not let his degeneracy taint her wholesome image.

He can virtue signal all he wants and keep performing the "at the end of the day, it's all love" talk, but the kids will become adults one day and eventually see it for what it is. They'll realize just how much of a selfish piece of sh*t their father truly is.

He can be lucky to be tolerated. That selfish clown who really brought the drama is only embarassing. "Poor" kids with such a father. A divorce can happen to everybody, but this man is truly a narcissist, no woman with a brain and self-respect could endure him. I hope Mariah stays away from him as far as possible. I can imagine what she now really thinks of him. So it's better not talk about it with the media.

My iTunes on my phone didn't download a booklet. This is the first MC album I didn't buy a CD for. I threw all my CDs out when I moved and the shelf system as well. I've scoured the four corners of the internet and cannot find a pdf or clear pictures of the booklet that accompanies the album. Anyone help me out email me at randyalexander@hotmail.com. The issue is that she has 2 people on this track which makes it hard to join them for a video and can explain the delay. Cardi B just released a song with Kehlani and dropped the video. Just the 2 girls in pyjama's, and it seems the song is doing well on charts. Sugar Sweet is very radio and TikTok friendly, it has potential but needs exposure, that's why she brought 2 persons on it to widen as much as possible its reach. Now let's cross our fingers. I have a feeling her kids have an appearance on it dancing.

Something must have recently gone down between Nick and Mariah because Mariah flatly refused to talk about co-parenting with Nick and honestly I don't blame her because he brings the drama, six baby mamas. But I wonder what happened because even post divorce they were amicable for the kids and now it's like she just tolerates him. Makes sense he has gotten progressively more annoying and her kids are now a bit older so she probably doesn't feel the need to put on a show with Nick.

Maybe this was done during the time they did the lyric video because she says they're filming a little thing. Probably a video was in the cards but one of the artists decided she did not have the time of day to contribute. That's what I heard.

MC is really having fun in this song. I can see Post Malone or Jack Harlow rapping a few bars on this bop. Nick didn't know what he wanted to do towards the end of their marriage. Now MC won't allow his narcissistic ways. IWAI will be the next single in January. Gamma probably will wait and drop it in January for ice skating season.

If you've still not coordinated everyone's schedule to film the video there's no way it will be done soon. We have a tight deadline because even Mariah can't compete with Christmas-riah.

I think MC wrote HFIA while taking care of Patricia. They reconnected and caused MC to reflect on her during her last months. The glory was how Patricia supported MC early on during her career. The shakes were how MC felt about her mother during the her breakdown. The withdrawals are how MC felt when she disconnected herself from her mother.

Sugar Sweet is still growing at Urban radio and is currently the #14 song on that format. Could even go top ten at that radio format. So I wonder why Pop radio hasn't started playing the solo version? That would be so good to get more impressions for the song.

For sure, it was released on different days in different countries. I guess the overall point is we may get an extra surprise this Christmas. I don't see Mariah completely ignoring Daydream turning 30. She isn't shying away from talking about SUD and you all know if Mariah doesn't want to talk about something, she doesn't talk about it. Something is up and I am totally here for it.

I think those of us who were going to buy the album already did. After Taylor's comes out next week, that's going to dominate the charts for a while. This was our week. It's predicted to debut at #4 on Billboard 200, I heard that's pretty good for a legacy artist.

I have a question someone might have the answer to. One time, I heard a song on the radio that was so terrible I know there was no way anybody liked it. But it was playing on the radio every day, every hour. How do songs get chosen to be played on the radio? Like, who decides what's getting played every day, every hour?

I would agree if the Chick album was any good. But it's not. It sounds like someone goofing off and perfecting their Courtney Love imitation. I'm a fan of Courtney Love and Hole, but that style just doesn't work for Mariah. I'm all about Mariah expanding her musical horizons, but I'd say a jazz album or an acoustic style album in the vein of "Right to Dream" would work better.

Mariah has a relatively narrow window to promote "Here for It All" before she goes abroad for more Mimi anniversary shows. And then before you know it, she will be prepping for the Christmas shows in Vegas. An album of this caliber deserved to receive a robust promotional push.

Thought I'd share with you the dream I had last night about Mariah. She was in the UK doing some promo, and I went out of my way to go to where she was to see her and hopefully meet her. I waited and waited but didn't get to see her, and by then it was really late and, despite it being in London, there was no way for me to get home. So, I settled down outside the hotel she was staying at. At about 3am she came out to escape from everything and have a moment to herself. I let her have her ten minutes, then I tentatively called out to her, explained I wasn't a crazy stalker and that I couldn't get home, and what a big impact she had on my life. She was genuinely pleased and touched, and hugged me when I, through tears, told her how much her music had changed my life and thanked her for all she went through to keep people like me from being gifted with her songs. We hugged tightly for a long time, and then she went back inside. If I never meet Mariah in person, and I sadly doubt I ever will, I'll always have that moment in my dream. She loooed so beautiful.

Meanings of songs (111,638) by Jamie from UK

Do we know which songs are about Taneka? Do we really know the true meaning of their split? I've read some articles about it being about wanting kids. Also I read an article in NY Times about him just costing Mariah too much as he wasn't bringing anything to the table. Some of the lyrics "bouncing off the walls", "withdrawals" lean more towards drug use, is this about him or Nick?
