Re: Stacey, disrespect to Whitney (36,797) by Jamie from UK
Whatever Bob wrote has been censored by the moderators, that's why you can't see it anymore. I didn't see it either, but I think we can guess what it said based on the responses below.

Thanks for the clarification. I thought everyone was reading the same message I was, and so I thought what is all the fuss? Thanks for clearing it up.

It's just not Christmas without 1994's Merry Christmas (36,794) by Deedre aka MiTodoChop @HBF from Canada
I know it's early, but I've already had the album and DVD out for both MC and MC II You. Mariah's music has become such a part of my life and the season, it would feel so strange not to have it. The music truly does carry so many happy moments for me. I couldn't imagine Christmas without it.

And now back to Mariah (36,793) by Anonymous from
I'm wondering if Mariah is going to record an "answer song" to Nicki Minaj's "Hell Yeah" which many in the industry are saying is aimed at Mariah (I did not hear Nicki say that herself, but it's pretty apparent IMO). One thing is for sure. If Mariah does record one, she'll be far more respectful, and in tune. Enjoy the day fellow lambs.

Bob's message (36,792) by Stacey from USA
Now, you know me, I'm not one who usually defend's Bob's posts. I usually don't comment on them. So, I think I'm being objective in saying I read Bob's message over and over and I really tried to find anything utterly disrespectful, and I just couldn't. If you want a disrespectful message, I'll tell you about one Eric sent me that he didn't post. But hey, we all see things differently. Whitney is a legend, part of the holy trinity of singers (i.e. Mariah and Celine).

Webmaster: Believe me, the uncensored message was horrible.

Bob, be respectful to the late Whitney please. (36,791) by Edward from USA
Whitney Houston may have gone through hard times with drugs and all, but she was loved for her contribution to music. We all waited for her full rehabilitation, since we knew her talent, but sadly it never happened. Nobody is perfect and only she knew what she went through and how she resorted to drugs. Bob, it's easy to judge, but if you were to take a look at yourself, you would realize that you have had your personal demons too, just like the rest of us. I don't do drugs or alcohol, but I'm not quick to judge, because every case is different. I couldn't even imagine what would be like to be ridiculed, to know you have lost a voice like that, and not being able to walk away from that type of life. As outsiders we all seem to have the solution to other people's lives, but do we? If you're fat, don't eat, if you're on drugs, go to rehab, if you're bulimic, don't throw up, if you're gay, go to church, pretty easy right? People pay tribute to Whitney the artist, her contribution to music, her legacy, not her way of life. I've seen people from beautiful and loving families go to waste due to drugs and alcohol, so nobody is exempt. Some are addicted to food, sex, shopping, etc., and the solution is not as easy as money and treatment, sometimes is goes as far as rooted unresolved issues from their childhood.

To Desiree and Stephen (36,790) by Webmaster Eric from the Netherlands
I'm sorry, I should have censored Bob's disrespectful message right away.

Desiree (36,789) by Stephen from London, United Kingdom
I agree. Such comments are very distasteful. Firstly, this is a Mariah messageboard, so it's irrelevant to post something like that here. Secondly, she's dead, there's no need to be rude. No matter what she did in her private life, you can't deny her legend. Respect should be shown.

Bob, IAA (36,788) by Desiree from USA
Until you are as successful as the late Whitney Houston, you really need to be quit and stay in line, because that is highly disrespectful. You may not like her, but that doesn't give you the right to be rude.

Mariah, the world of music needs you now (36,787) by Anonymous from
After watching the AMA's last night, all I can say is, in my opinion, music is just about dead. As far as I see it, only our "Imperfect Angel" - Mariah - can save it. And the lambs shall rejoice (I would imagine) upon the arrival of music's savior (which I believe she is). We'll just have to wait until sometime next spring (or in "Mariah time", whenever). In my observation, that was the worst show yet (and I've watched since it's inception in 1974). Everything sounded the same to me, souless. It looked to me like the same flashing lazer lights, shooting flames, and 20 dancers in every single act (except for Pink, who always turns in a great performance IMO). Then they pay tribute to [...] Whitney Houston, yet mention nothing about others who passed away over the past year [...] (Donna Summer, Gary Moore, Natina Reed to name a few). The only reason they said anything about Dick Clark was because he did establish the awards and Ryan Seacrest was a good friend of his. Suffice to say I will not be watching next year's telecast, unless Mariah is on it of course. P.S. Memo to the "Mail.online" staff: Nick and Mariah were married in 2008, not 2007.

Halo Awards/Aussie press (36,785) by RibbonB from USA
Mariah and Nick looked great. The show is really cute and seems to get better and better every year. I can't wait for the day when dem babies are old enough to attend the Kids Choice awards with Nick and Mariah. As for the Australian press, it's a non issue right now and MC may have a lovely welcome when the time comes.

Australian press (36,784) by Tony Sciacchitano from Australia
So I'm just a little concerned about Mariah's visit to Australia. Only reason is because of Australian media. They are complete dumba**es, they all think that by creating controversy they will be popular, but really they just end up looking childish. It really bothers me, I'm just remembering when Whitney came out, they were bad. Lady gaga even, now I'm no fan of Gaga, but it's funny when she's not in Australia, they love to write great stories about her, but when she was in Oz, they hounded her. Any money they were thinking if they make up crap about her while she is in Oz it would be a global story, B.S. artists is all they are here in Oz. Now Mariah is coming to visit and they are going to have a field day, I am sure of it and not looking forward to that mess. Wish there was a way to warn Mariah not to judge us Australians from the freaks from the media.

Nick/Halo Awards (36,783) by Licia from USA
I love how Mariah and Nick support each other. Many fans don't like him , but he seems to make her happy. I have to give Nick props for all the Halo awards. I'm sure all the recipients are very happy to have all their hard work acknowledged. People don't give Nick enough credit for all the good things that he tries to do.

Thanks a bunch Stacey. I did receive them but have not been able to download them yet (my job makes me work on Sundays, bleek ). Anyways, thanks again and Happy Holidays.

All I Want For Christmas Is You - the definition of a classic (36,781) by Stella from Greece
I love this song, it never gets old. It really doesn't feel like Christmas until I hear this song. It's amazing when you think that not only does Mariah sang the original version, but she wrote it too. A real classic. On that note, I am counting down the days until December rolls on to start playing Merry Christmas and Merry Christmas II You. I think I may have to sneak a listen... or two.

Mariah at the Halo awards (36,780) by Stella from Greece
Mariah looked radiant. Best appearance since the BET Awards this year. I really love how supportive she is of Nick's projects and vice versa. I can't wait for the new Mariah era to start and particularly to hear her songs with The Dream. Ribbon, HATE U, Up Out My Face are still my jams. I don't love Memoirs as much as her early work but it sure is a underrated album.

I sent you a ton of remixes, plus audio files from her Christmas concert back in 2010. Hope you enjoy all of them while putting up your tree. You just gained a million man points. I started to put up my tree today too. BTW: I love AIWFCIY too. MC's songs sound soo good on the radio.

Dem babies: the evolution (36,778) by Carol from Spain
It seems not long ago, we saw dem babies with Barbara Walters for the first time. They were small, inside that crib, dressed and pimped up with their white outfits. Looking at these latest picture from Nick, they grew up so much. I can see Monroe's gonna break some hearts when she grows up, because she is absolutly gorgeous. Roc just seems to be a menace.
I can't wait to see them when they grow up.

AIWFCIY (36,777) by Carol from Spain
Lovely to see AIWFCIY making it into the charts yet again. A classic that never gets old. All I want for Christmas is a Mariah Carey song.

The genius of Ribbon (36,776) by RibbonB from USA
I was just listening to one of my fave songs, esp off of Memoirs, and I love the song all over again. I wish I could hear Mariah perform a stripped down version of it, with a group like Take Six or one of these clever vocal groups. I really believe that would be awesome and oh so memorable. I simply love the ending of Ribbon.

On a lighter note (36,774) by JBfly from USA
Have you all noticed that AIWFCIY is no. 1 on the holiday singles chart already? Man that song is truly a classic already. She has 6 songs on the top 200. AIWFCIY, Christmas (Baby please come home), O Holy Night, AIWFCIY Xtra festive, Santa Claus is Coming to Town and Oh Santa. Rankings are subject to change. Not only that but the covers by artist like Lady Antebellum, Michael Buble, Justin Beiber are all in there too. Mimi sure is a cash cow (no pun intended) around this time of the year. Peace.

jjaymia1978@yahoo.com. Thanks so much Stacey. The Celebration mix is my favorite too. I need it so I can play it while decorating my tree this year. I know, I just lost like a million man points, but so be it.
