I am not sure Mariah would be all that interested in doing a Superbowl half time show - the workload required would be massive. I think it would be awesome if they did a "Divas Live" type setup with a bunch of 'divas' sharing the stage - Mariah, Ariana, Madonna, Celine, Beyonce, Gaga, Whitney on the screen - I'd tune in.

I think Rihanna should've waited for the next Super Bowl. The halftime performance was visually stunning, but the energy wasn't there. If Mariah could walk unaided and with her 90's voice, she could've definitely pulled this off better than Rihanna. When Mariah was in control of her voice, she exuded confidence and put it all out there. I could see a Madison Square Garden Daydream Mariah pulling this off, but right now, she shouldn't even entertain the idea. She would probably get to the Halftime late anyway.

I just found my CD copy of MC's September 11, 2009 concert at Pearl in Las Vegas. I recorded it from a download link on the old Mariah Daily website. Her vocals are phenomenal. Does anyone else have it on Mp3 or CD? 18 songs were sung on the first night out of 4 nights for the residency.

I definitely think she's got a lot songs in the vault that were supposed to go into Caution. The return of Memoirs and Flowers from Miley whose career was supposedly over just shows anything is possible. It is just a right song and right timing. I would like Mariah do something like Love Me Like You Do or Diamonds. I really love A No No and I wouldn't be surprised that goes viral at some point.
I think Caution paved the way to AIWFC's resurgence in some way and eventually topping the charts for the first time. It opened this generation's minds that she is a creative artist.

I don't think so. Remember that she is in her 50s and life is inevitable. If she puts out everything, she wouldn't have any legacy posthumous recordings. Although it's best to have it released while she is alive.

So I was bored and I asked ChatGPT, the new AI software, to write me a Mariah Carey song. The lyrics though a little generic at some points, read like something out of a 90s Mariah Carey song. Anyway even though I was doing this as an experiment, I do wonder if AI does take off, how is that going to affect songwriters and copyrights. I truly hope it won't lessen the value of true songwriters.

Lambs have long lamented over missed single opportunities, Migrate being the most obvious because it entered the charts without being an official single. With the recent success of Its A Wrap, [wouldn't] it have been great if It's a Wrap was the [second single] after Obsessed? Obsessed, It's a Wrap, UOMF remix, and then finishing the singles list with Angles Cry (the always needed Mariah ballad) would have really expressed the overall album vibe perfectly. I wonder if the label regrets not releasing It's A Wrap now in 2023?

Mimi can even lip better, she's so good at it, that sometimes you can't even tell. Rihanna didn't seem to care, like at all. So yes, I'm here for it.

Mariah could do it with the right amount of imagination. Stadium goes completely black, then the flood lights, then a light sprinkling of artificial snow as the opening chords of AIWFCIY starts. Interrupted by a loud "it's time" which leads right into ODB's Fantasy remix intro. Can splice up Obsessed, I Know What You Want, Honey, and It's Like That. Do a little ABMB and WBT and end with either Hero or a hologram of Whitney where she duets on When You Believe. It would be epic. Done right it would showcase her catalogue but also how Iconic she is. Outfit: no dresses, just her black pants and top she had for the Daydream album cover. Slip on a faux fur coat for a song or two but keep it simple. Maybe come out with a Santa hat at the beginning before whipping it off, as a melting metaphor.
