Working Hard remix snippet? (103,328) by Bobby A from United States
It definitely sounds like the original is a Civilles and Cole production. She has been working in that vault all summer.

Music Box 30th anniversary revealed (103,325) by Will from England
I would've thought it's because she's released all that she wants to release from those eras for Rarities and the MC30, and maybe saving some for Rarities Part 2 that she talked about? One can hope.

I think it will be the same as the rarities and Tokyo Dome, it will be both on physical CD and streaming.

Since it's so close to the release date, here is a snippet DJ Terry Hunter played in July at a Chicago House Music Festival in July.

I must admit I don't really understand what is being released and how? Is Proctor's Theatre being released as an audio? If so, is it going on Spotify or do you have to actually purchase a hard copy? It's all pretty confusing.

Go check out MC's Twitter page. She just released the tracklisting for disc 2. There is another new song called Workin Hard along with an extended version of All I Live For and an IBTAY remix. Disc 2 is 15 tracks. This MB 30th is better than The Rarities.

Music Box 30th anniversary revealed (103,316) by Terna from Nigeria
She's going to pay that album absolute dust. Sorry Stacey, but in Mariah's bubble, "Daydream" only comprises of 1 song - "Always be My Fantasy with O.D.B.".

Clivillés and Cole (103,314) by Jamie from UK
I'm getting really excited now for Saturday. I've been playing Music Box non stop, but that's nothing new for me.

I was just thinking and wishing if there were any unreleased songs that collaborated with Clivillés and Cole. I always used to love this side of her in the early days. It was such a shame that David Cole passed so young into Mariah's career as I feel that both David and Robert had a good bond with her.

I love how much Mariah holds Music Box close to her heart and the memories. If only all parties involved could forget the past and get together just one more time. Come on Mariah call Walter, Kelly, Shanrae (if you can find her) and Melonie and let's make some magic.

My Prayer - The Platters (103,313) by Bobby A from United States
Great post Pedro. My Prayer was a #1 hit on Billboard Top 100 and R&B charts in 1956. Glenn Miller and The Ink Spots covered it too. I did some investigated work myself and found one fan on PulseMariah said that it makes sense that My Prayer has not been registered in MC's name since she is not the writer for My Prayer. And it makes sense for 2.50 song length. It is very typical for songs in the 50s and 60s to be less than 3 minutes. I am really excited now.

I just listened. I can definitely see Mariah singing it. It has its vocal moments. I could even imagine places where some whistles would be placed by Mariah..

My Prayer - The Platters (103,310) by Pedro from Brazil
Some fans are speculating that Mariah's "My Prayer" is actually a cover of a song of the same name by the group "The Platters", because in the promotional video, Mariah's track lasts 2:50, which is similar to this one. What do you think, guys?

Music Box 30th anniversary revealed (103,307) by Bobby A from United States
I am wondering the same too. She didn't do a 30th anniversary for Mariah Carey or Emotions. Music Box must be really dear to MC. Daydream's 30th anniversary will probably be huge with the release of her version of Somebody's Ugly Daughter.

Re-recording Music Box 30 (103,306) by Andrew from the UK
Far be it for me to throw a spanner in the works but I am forced to agree with Eddie: Music Box is not one to be messed with.

More to the point, perhaps: having read original and somewhat up-to-date reviews of Music Box: how pithy the negative critiquing of Music Box as an engineered money-maker. Blockbuster movies are created to be blockbuster movies: the timing, the CGI, the actors, the release date, the budget, the production studio... everything is on point to make a blockbuster.

So Mariah made a ballad heavy pop masterpiece in order to show that she was not going to be taken on by Whitney hands-down. She created one of the move successful albums there ever was - and that came from within her. What a ridiculous - actually if I could label it as it is without Eric deleting it, I would - state of affairs to be criticised for being good. So she didn't sell as well with Emotions - and, boy, did they write about that. She sold extremely well with Music Box - and, boy, wasn't it just "selling out"? GTFO.

Music Box is a masterpiece. It is her biggest selling album because it contained grand songs, timeless masterpieces and a vocal performance that ought to have won her more accolades than it did. To have created an answer to The Bodyguard soundtrack was in and of itself a stroke of genius that could only have been done by MC.

Music Box is her best-selling work and is flawless for that it is. A Blockbuster.

But I am sure as shit certain that don't nobody need the 2009 Hero. Get me Ed Shapiro on the phone.
