Well will not, of course, ever hear a word from Mariah about any of this, but I can only imagine she is not too happy with it. Who would be? To have children with that many different women in the space of a year is just... messy messy messy.

This is rare and a true gem, with undubbed snippets of her performances that night, which were all gorgeous. I can't believe it's been twenty years since the Glitter era.

Mariah should have used the self portrait for the Me I Am Mariah cover, and also should have used the pink Caution tape with the blue eye staring through it as the Caution album cover. That said, I did like the black cover with the M. Just please not another full body shot of Mariah with her arms raised and legs akimbo.

That would be a fresh change. All her album covers are quite the same. They are not bad, but I guess it doesn't hurt to change the formula.

I liked how she said for her new project that she wouldn't even care if she was on the cover. That's new for her as well know she is very particular about her looks. If anything I'm hoping it's her evolving as an artist and diving more into her artistic side instead of leaning towards the same vanity shots. I love the blue She Hulk Caution cover. I didn't think she would have the guts to do that. Hoping for more artistic album covers in the future. Notable mention to the Emancipation and Butterfly covers. The close up Music Box cover is her most beautiful cover. It just can't be topped.

I like the picture on the back of the Butterfly album more than the actual cover. Other favorite cover shots are TEOM (original and platinum), E=MC2, Memoirs (unpopular opinion I know) and #1s. Side note, I wish the TAOLG cover was the cover for MIAM. She's look stunning on it. Side note 2: since we're talking about covers, is it just me or do some y'all wish we got a different cover for Mariah's memoirs (the book). The photo she used, it's pretty but definitely not iconic nor her best shoot. She has so many amazing shoots, I wouldn't have picked that one.

Butterfly it is, for me, too. It is followed by Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel and Mariah Carey. To complete the top 5, let me include #1s and of course, TEOM.

Many of you often assume she is, was in love, thus her happiness, sexy songs, good or bad vocals, blah, blah, blah. Didn't she tell y'all that mess ain't true in the Meaning of Mariah?

#1's is the pick for me. Least favorite would be Glitter. I really hope her next album cover doesn't have any photos. Just change it up a bit, it might actually pull some interest from the general public to focus more on her music and less on her image.

I think all of the album covers are sexy but my favorite ones are Memoirs, Butterfly and Rainbow, but if I had to pick just one it would be Butterfly. The Glitter and Butterfly photo shoots are phenomenal, she exudes sexiness and beauty. I'm super excited at the thought of new music coming out way, Christmas songs or whatever, I'm here for it.

Yes agree. I always felt the pic of Mariah holding the microphone would have made the better album cover, though zoomed in a bit (like the VOL cover).

Article: Mariah Carey threatened to kick JLo's ass (98,474)

This source is extremely reliable and the article is pure fun. This thing is a concoction of The meaning of Mariah, lyrics of Heat, Mariah Carey vs. Jim Carrey MTV Celebrity Deathmatch , and I don't know her rumours. Though the very idea of Mariah fighting with JLo is hilarious.

#1's and Merry Christmas, two covers from two rather opposed eras. Also VOL and the debut album rear photo, the one with the little dress and the mic, is one of her sexiest. I prefer Fantasy single cover over Daydream one. All of her Daydream photos are very classy and sexy.

See if preferred the snow bunny look of Merry Christmas and think the red Santa suit is the sexiest look she did, in a subtle way. That and Emotions, as it emphasises her great figure.

MC's sexiest album cover (98,470)

I was scanning my Twitter feed today and it hit me that Butterfly is MC's sexiest album cover. It just exudes that characteristic in every possible way. She was a woman in love. Just listen to Honey, My All, Babydoll, Fourth of July, and Whenever You Call.

I've been to some concerts by now, and sadly there's little, if nothing new artistic in the process. I guess people doesn't want that, and as some friends of mine said. She has enough money to buy clothes. Why doesn't she?

I think it's quite obvious. Mariah is a studio singer and who wants to see a studio singer on tour? She's not even an entertainer so what's the point?

"But why are Celine and Madonna cashing in on tours, getting huge crowds willing to pay good money to see them in concert, but not streaming them while they are at home?"
Well, Madonna has always cashed in with her touring. Her tours are huge productions, visually enticing. People go for the nostalgia and because they know they won't ever get bored, she's a true entertainer.
Celine has a core fanbase, not only in English but in French too. She's definitely the Barbra Streisand of this era. Nobody is buying her music like that, but she's earned people's respect as a great vocalist, and she always catered to the adult contemporary listeners. She's considered to be classy.

Those artists put on more of an entertaining show than Mariah does. As much as I love Mariah more than any other artist (and have been to most of her tours) her concerts are technically the same idea but different ensemble lol and the general public know that. Not to many people want to watch her change and get hair and make up touch ups besides the lambily. But I do believe she tours for us fans and doesn’t care if she’s making millions for a show by getting non-lambs inside the venue.

Maybe that was the plan all the long when she left RocNation. She did talk about some frustration with Epic on Twitter Spaces last weekend. Hasn't she fulfilled her contract with Epic? She hated Epic's Instant Grats singles promotional rollout.

The Rolling Stone Charts (98,464)
by Joachim Agerup Løkkevik from Norway

I every now and then check the Rolling Stone Charts to see which artists are the most streamed in the US, and obviously looking for where Mariah is at any given time. I know the charts don't represent the world streaming patterns, and if anyone here can give me a site to go to where I can check worldwide streaming numbers, please tell me.
Mariah has since the Rolling Stone Charts launched been somewhere around the 200's, but during Christmas, she has peaked at #4. While I'm looking for Mariah, I also look for Brittney, Whitney, Celine, Madonna, Beyonce and Adele, the women artists I have the most respect towards. Interesting is that Beyonce and Adele's streaming numbers are decreasing, but Brittney and Whitney charts where they're usually charting, Brittney often a bit higher than Mariah, and Whitney quite a bit lower than Mariah. Celine and Madonna have always charted, although very low, but when I checked today, they didn't chart at all.
My question is; I have a concern that Mariah is being forgotten by young people, more than Celine, Whitney and Madonna, and I also have friends who tell me this, that Mariah will be a forgotten artist by the next generation, if we are not talking about AIWFCIY. But why are Celine and Madonna cashing in on tours, getting huge crowds willing to pay good money to see them in concert, but not streaming them while they are at home?
Has Mariah become an artist that people stream at home, maybe without people wanting to admit it, but nobody wants to see her live in concert? Why aren't Celine and Madonna amongst the top 500 streaming artists in the US, but people flock to their concerts?

I'm excited at the prospect of Mariah joining back up with Virgin. I thought Sony was the return home, but no, it's Virgin. Capital records will look good on her.
