Agree. Madonna and Lady Gaga have been living from tours because their music don't sell as before and don't have super hits no longer.

It has something that makes me press the repeat too. At the end I can even hear "Daydream-MC" for a few seconds and I love it. From all three new songs this is my favorite.

Stacey I too am wondering why she didn't do this at the AMAs. She sounded really good. She had the fans thinking she couldn't sing the song without a lot of "extra help" and she actually can.

The Distance (85,214)

Damn, the more I listen to it, the more I love it. I've been listening to it nonstop and I didn't feel obligated to. Whereas I Don't, I was playing it on repeat just to support Mariah. The Distance, this song has been on a loop in my head all day all night, I hum it without even thinking, it's a good sign yo. She gotta get that Clear Channel radio deal to push this song even more, I could see "hit" plastered all over it like those pink tapes over the album cover before the reveal.

Ummmm no. There are such negative entries on this board that neglect to notice or mention that various respected publications that have identified The Distance as the hit that she has been waiting for.

Caution World Tour (85,212)
by Bobby A from United States
| |
|
|
What a surprise today. I can't wait for February. This has to be the best album rollout since TEOM. Three songs available to download before the album drops and a world tour annoucement. I think no one saw how this rollout was unwrapping when GTFO dropped in September. I can tell a lot of thought and planning took place for the Caution rollout. I am impressed with RocNation's and Melissa's rollout plan for Caution. I guess they learned from Anti's rollout. I am predicting Caution is going to sell a heck more than MIAM. Lol.

I think I could give her a run for her money in the lipsyncing department. Dance wise we're about the same. She might kill me if she pulls out the Honey dance moves though. I just thought I'd lighten the mood. Obviously it didn't work, but I tried. We all know what to expect as far as the singing or lack of singing. I'm just going to make the best of it. I'm just happy I'll get to go. This is only be my third time seeing her in concert and it could very well be the last. Who knows?

No. Nobody heard With You live that weekend. Especially the crowd there at that arena. Let me ask something, and I really want to know. Genuinely. All these chorus climaxes that Mariah has recorded since 2000 and whatever. All of them. Every single one. Can someone post me one of her doing it live? Just one. One? Just one.

Well, we've all lived through 2010 up until the present, so we all know the public hasn't been interested in her for a long time. I personally have accepted the fact that she would be lucky to have any single hit the lower ranks of the Hot 100 these days. Pointless could be a good word to describe it as well, but I would rather have her and her team continue to push for a project they clearly could have given up on a month ago purely based on public response than not at all. Best scenario is that this album will be likely received like Janet's Unbreakable was. Low sales but still a #1 debut, no real hit singles but a critical success. Here's hoping the 7 remaining songs are better than those released so far. Unlikely, maybe, but I'm still excited. It's still all new material after all.

Mariah: I have songs written that are amazing, that people across the world will love and buy in their millions. And people outside the world. You know, in dem other countries... Anyway, these songs gon blow up the charts, y'all.
Label: Mariah, we aren't about releasing successful music and making money at the moment, we just want you to look pretty in videos.
Mariah: Praise Jesus, cos I be lyin' before. Can I get my tits out?
Dearest Brandon, as might be said in the UK: you don't half write a load of old bollocks sometimes.
Dearest Todd, I totally stole your message concept but it's entertaining as [censored].

Todd from Australia, come to the US and we will see her here in CT. It will be great (have seen her and talked to her once before at said venue). And yes, Americans do know how to identify countries and cities of the world on a globe - to others who say we don't. Many times US lambs have had to sit back as MC has toured other parts of the world and not the US. I'm sure the world tour will be expanded if there is good reaction to the US leg. Meanwhile, lets solve how to get her new music on the radio anywhere, ok? The Distance should be heard, its a cohesive production which is what people used to expect of MC. I think that is part of why fans are elated to hear it. That said, I do wish the vocals on the track were a bit more crisp. But I am not perfect either so I am not gonna quibble. I love it and it makes me wanna move, which aint always easy. Lol. Be good to one another and yourselves.

Doing so is a common practice in the industry and has been since 04. Over one third of albums that topped the charts last year had concert ticket bundles attached. Bundle works by including a free copy of an artist's latest album with the purchase of either a single ticket or pair to said artist's upcoming tour. This era is about rehabilitating Mariah's public image not scoring a hit single or album.

Maybe she isn't announcing the Asia and Europe dates because she is already touring Asia right now and will be heading to Europe for her Christmas shows soon. So she is keeping the focus of these countries on the current tour. I'm sure she'll announce them as soon as she finished these tours or somewhere near the end.

Could it be that's she's only touring the USA because you get a copy of Caution for free when you buy a ticket? This way she will debut higher on the Billboard album chart. Copies given away to foreign fans won't count.

I was half expecting it to be a "World Tour" given the name. The United States and two places in Ontario constitutes "the world"? As most Americans don't own passports nor can point to other countries on a map, perhaps, to them, it does.
