I'm so confused - weight gain (77,049) by JD from United States Okay first off this is my first post on here but I had to say something, am I the only one super confused? I'm gonna start off by saying I personally don't care what Mariah looks like, but I know that the rest of the world does and her music sells 99.9% better during eras where she looks good and fit. I don't mean to body shame but what happened? Just a month ago on TMZ I saw a video of her walking down Rodeo (you can search her name on TMZ and it's the most recent article about her) and she looked great. not as skinny as 2013 for sure but about the same as 2016. Now she was wearing all black but watching the recent Vegas shows her thighs have literally doubled in size in about a month? Maybe it's the unflattering outfits she wears but damn girl. I mean I think it looks good but I really hope she didn't get a fat transfer from her stomach to thighs/hips because it doesn't fit her or look right on her. Maybe she got some kind of lipo? I know that when you get lipo on your legs they swell for about two weeks and then go down so maybe that's it? Is she wearing padding? She's looking like the next drag superstar with those unnaturally big looking thighs under those shiny nude colored stockings. Again I'm not one to shame somebodies body by any means it's just surprising to see her thighs get so big in literally a month lol. I'm really hoping she didn't do this for Bryan, thinking she'd look better "slim thick" like Blac Chyna or something, because it really doesn't fit her overall appearance well. Hopefully by the tour with Lionel (I'm seeing her at the San Diego show) her thighs swell down because damn. (Tuesday 11 July 2017; 20:20)

She should be working with a personal trainer and a vocal coach and using the last leg of her Vegas residency to prepare for her her upcoming tour. Has she even been rehearsing for her tour with Lionel? Does she have a set list prepared or is it going to be a shortened version of the Vegas show? I guess it would make sense to do a shortened version of her Vegas show since the tour is titled All The Hits. Hoping she continues to improve and is able to give an amazing performance on the opening night of the All The Hits tour. Lionel was playing coy when asked if they were going to do a duet or not. I think they are/will. If they don't it's a missed opportunity. I could easily see them scoring an Adult Contemporary hit with a cover of Endless Love. (Tuesday 11 July 2017; 20:14)

Close My Eyes and Whenever You Call (77,039) by MusicfanJ from Germany No one will ever be able to transform so much emotion. I mean "Close my eyes" is so peaceful, I love the lyrics. WYC get's me everytime, what a love song. When she sings: "And now, there it has begun, we cannot turn back, we can only turn into one" and the chorus starts, I'm done. This album deserves a new release with bonus songs or unheard vocals. Like Michael Jackson's "Off the Wall" and "Bad". Since all of you were talking about "Fourth of July" I'm also in love again with the song. Mariah is taking you to a journey with only words and the beautiful melody. It's like a journey to paradise. Honestly "Butterfly" shows all her genius talent. For me it's not only pop and rnb, it's pure artistry. Vere rare, and something that is almost gone in today's popular music. Recent performances (77,034) by darrian liu from taiwan There's something off recently, starting with Baku, and now onto the first dates of the final Vegas shows. She seems so wooden and uninterested, she doesn't try to hit the notes (Vegas's Emotions this year so far had no E5 belts, unlike usual), and overall she looks tired and detached. That SSFT bright, smooth vocals and confidence are gone. Is this because of NYE? She better get herself together (yknow, like what she should've done this past 3 years). Lol I agree that the people in the first few shows deserve a great performance just as everyone else, but I don't think anyone is trying to make excuses for it. Especially this "I think she is hurt in a very deep level plus she could be been blackmailed". I also believe she is very hurt inside for a lot of reasons (some we might know and some are hidden). During her peak Mariah was perfection in every way, so like you said then there's mostly only a way down and the people love to the see a superstar falling down. She gave the world truly everthing she had, and got used. The industry was never nice to her. But I won't believe that she thinks the fans doesn't deserve more. Maybe she doesn't care anymore. But to see her like a shadow of herself is so hurtful. I don't need another hit single from Mariah, I just want her to be happy and healthy. I hope that she wants it too. Why you mad at Mariah? (77,030) by Victor from Costa Rica What is going on in this messageboard? I don't understand why everybody complain so much about everything Mariah does. Look, we all have different opinions about her but why do you need to express your frustrations? Can't you see that negativism is contagious? We are sending to her. So instead of supporting and help her heal what's need to be heal, we are not helping her and the world to move on. Remember that life is a cycle. When she was at her peak she raised the bar so high that we idolize her because she was the closest to perfection, but when someone of her caliber falls, the fall will be epic because it will reach levels not expected/imagined for this person. I think she is hurt in a very deep level plus she could be been blackmailed (that's a theory I have, but that's another topic I would like to discuss in another message). Regarding her attitude I have a theory: She knows she is the biggest pop act and the greatest singer of all time. And she is hurt because she feels betrayed by everybody (record labels, music industry, colleagues, fans, radio, etc). She thinks the world doesn't deserve her anymore. That's why she is doing the minimal effort in things she does. She doesn't want to meet our expectations anymore because she knows it isn't worth it. She has so many enemies due to envy and she is tired of fighting alone. I just wish her well to be brave to continue dealing with what she is going through. I really love her and want her to be happy. Her music is heaven and life without it will be worse than anything most of you post here. (Tuesday 11 July 2017; 06:18)

Just then I remembered how wonderful that bass drop beat sounds in the car. To me, that is the best MC song to bump in the car, all the way up, with the windows down, in the city. Biggest concern (77,027) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter So my biggest concern from the latest photos is, what is up with Mariah's mic? Why is she using a basic person generic black mic? Where the hell is the gold mic? When was the last time Mariah used a mic that wasn't either gold or sparkly? She's going broke, they can't afford a gold mic, I cannot deal. Haha I'm kidding. Not a fan of the stage ensembles. But I'm trying to keep quiet about it because next thing I know she'll start wearing them out to dinner and grocery shopping again and I'm just thankful that she's limiting it to the stage. However I do agree that the whole "oh her voice will get better as the shows go on", that's no excuse because the people attending on the first night are paying the same amount of money to buy the tickets. They are horrible to look at and she really needs to get into shape.
