Me Myself and Mariah (81,289) by Terna from Nigeria
That was an interesting article. And yes she seems genuinely happy and confident in herself it reflects through the way she answers the questions. It's also obvious she's experienced in the industry, but has also moved with the times, the way she compares the current state as to how things used to be. And I love how she low-key shaded the Grammys. Lol. Mariah's back and I'm loving this Mariah. I'm quite excited about what she has in store. That album is gonna drop sooner than we think. Did I mention that I love the magazine cover? Just beautiful.

Re: Me, Myself & Mariah (81,281) (81,287) by Sarah from Netherlands
Really? I don't really feel like she mentioned a lot about music. And she seems bitter about a lot of things. Rightfully so, probably, but not sure it's a good idea to let it out like this. Whatever, we'll see what happens with this hypothetical new album.

Article: Me, myself, & Mariah (81,286) by Andy from Germany
I really enjoyed this interview. It is deep, honest and fun.
Plus here is a little cover (just a snippet) of Vision of Love I recently did. Hope, you like it.

I agree. This was an awesome article. I still can't make myself get too excited for the new music until it actually materializes, but I can say that from this article it seems that she's really focusing on creating great music again and for that I am grateful.

V Magazine / Childish Gambino (81,283) by RibbonB from USA
I'm so glad she mentioned Childish Bambino. I have suggested him a couple of times here on this board. I hope she will be collaborating with him and his musical team. I am glad she realizes she needs a different approach, but she rambled on so much about fashion, I can't be sure. Here is hoping that she gets down to business and makes some good music.

Me, Myself & Mariah (81,281) by Bill from the UK
What a great article. I love it when Mariah talks about music and songwriting like she did here. Interesting to see her potentially taking a new approach to her new album. This has me very excited and hopeful for a positive, necessary change. Emerge from the cocoon.

Aww. I hear you on the Sade concert. She is such a rare performer. I believe there will be another chance. I know what you mean about the years here blurring together lol but we have not had this conversation. I am indeed a fellow Pisces (March 11).

Interesting shot - not going to comment on the you know what. I cannot for the life of me understand that black shoe-like thing at the forefront of the photograph. What is it?

Andrew dahling, I love opinionated people with brains like you and I am an advocate for freedom of speech. I can't help but notice that you like to be a wee bit provocative by stirring things up with ill considered statements that only after retaliation from other members receive a decent elucidation. You are what we describe in Antwerp as an "allumeur". Naughty, naughty...

I was just dedicating a song to the heroic webmaster. There is nothing to get right as there is nothing wrong in the first place. Yeah Mariah sang it live that way but it doesn't mean I cannot dedicate it personally to webmaster.

Actually, Hero is for "You and you and you and you. And you and you and you and you. You you you, you you." Get it right.

Re: #marchforwhat? (81,269) (81,274) by Andrew from UK
My point was that these hashtag movements are a bandwagon on which people briefly jump and they do not really look at actual problems and often only blanket a superficial and sometimes inaccurate answer over them. Look at Make Poverty History over a decade ago. What happened to that? Every celebrity came out to be identified with it, including Mariah. Has anybody given a shit since? Time's Up infers that all women suffer because of all men: if you are a man you are a sexual predator, or a potential one, and, if successful, only achieved said success at the expense of a woman. Maybe in some or many cases. But the stars supporting it are the ones who prospered from it in silence and now feel the need to lecture everybody with every platform they have. BLM has a similar simplistic view of things. Next we will march on Washington because yet more children were hosed down in a frenzy of bullets while at school. Stars send bandwagon tweets about it but it is practically forgotten now. There will be another school shooting in a couple of weeks. Rinse and repeat. These hashtag, populist movements are, I believe, oddly self-serving, simplistic and dull as [censored]. What they do is serve to manipulate people in their homes into believing a certain thing about a cause without really debating fairly and openly the issues and go as far as to suggest that if you're not with them and the alleged victims, you are, or are potentially, one of the aggressors and/or of bad character. And I like Mariah Carey because of her music. Frankly I couldn't give a shite what political love-in she has joined this week. Nor Meryl Streep, nor anyone else. If somebody on here or elsewhere were to change my mind about this then amen. I can see an argument somewhere for shows of solidarity and love - "love" always being a worthy cause. As long as my account is here I will likely leave my opinion. I do not have a constant need to be witty, I probably just stand out in a pool of blandness. It is for that blandness reason I have asked Eric to delete my account and, thus far, he has not.

Album cover when it comes eventually (81,272) by Susana from USA
I would say that I would like to see Mariah in something bright like this although this is very reminiscent of one of her most famous, I would love to see an album cover like this.

Re: Sade (81,267) (81,271) by enwar00 from usa
I didn't get to hear it either. I was so bummed. It was already removed, I can't wait though. I love Sade and will always struggle with not forgoing one night of Lollapalooza to attend one of her three shows here a few years ago. I pray she will tour once again. When is your birthday, are you a fellow Pisces? Have we had this conversation before? Lol. The years on here have started to blur together.

Re: Sade (81,266) (81,270) by RibbonB from USA
I heard this highly anticipated song last night, but wasn't wowed by it. I am sure it will fit the movie well though. The song sounded like music from her Soldier of Love CD but without all this musical texture. Sade's voice is rich and smooth as ever though so that is good.

Andrew, the US might be a nation that has some serious issues and flaws but at least they take pride in their country and they are willing to fight for change. Do not forget that the US is the land of the free with little to no social classes resulting in the first elected black president in the history of Western civilization. Your post is tasteless and shows little respect and the constant need to be witty has failed miserably this time. By the way, how would you react if I would define the UK as simply "#brexit"?

Selling Mariah collection (81,268) by Alex from UK
Hi all. If anyone's interested I'm regretfully selling some of my Mariah CDs, most of them are hard to find promo CDs from UK, USA, Mexico, France or other European countries. I have close to 500 CDs and have now decided to start selling them as when life throws lemons at you you sometimes need money to make lemonade. It's hard for me to let my collection go as I've been collecting CDs for a good 20 years but I try to remember that what matters most is the music. You can find the items I've started listing under "ryancooperinlondon" on eBay. I hope some lambs will enjoy those as much as I've enjoyed chasing and collecting them. Take care.

Re: Sade (81,266) (81,267) by Deedre aka MiTodoChop @HBF from Canada
I love Sade but didn't get to hear the song. I can't wait. My Latin soul is also very happy as there was a great salsa singer on the voice last night. I am looking forward to seeing what happens for him. Between Toni Braxton, Sade, Marc Anthony and a new Enrique remix in Spanish dropping two days before my birthday, I'm a happy music lover.

Sade (81,266) by Mara from United States
So I managed to listen to the new song by Sade before they removed it this morning. Seven years is a long time and it doesn't disappoint. It's called Flower Of The Universe and it's everything you would want from a Sade song. I just want to listen again in HQ and download it. Not sure when the soundtrack comes out. It should be soon. She is another artist on another level who just takes you somewhere with her music and unique voice. She is another one that is pure musical food for your soul good.

"If it's Over". One of my favourite songs of all time, and of course the live version of "You and I".
